Wake up folks. Hasn't anyone noticed how quiet things are in Iraq right now? It's not because the surge, it's because the nearness of the election. It's smoke and mirrors, corruption by our government and careful payment plans to those who can control the hot spots in Iraq so as to make it appear the surge has worked. "Caribou Barbie" and McSame need to focus on more than Iraq. Of course, they have no solutions, just attacks and rhetoric. BE VERY CAREFUL not to get caught up in the GOP lying Machine.

I think it's pretty clear what the McCain campaign is doing with Palin. Palin was brought on to the campaign for two reasons: 1. To pander to the extreme religioius right. 2. To try to get the disgruntled Hillary supporters to vote for McCain. Reason 1 probably worked. Reason 2 didn't; Hillary supporters are smarter than that. Now, watch the McCain campain in the next few weeks. Now that McCain has the religious right on his side, it's mission accomplished for Palin. She is no longer useful. Palin will soon resign for "personal reasons" (pushed off the bus by McCain's campaign management). McCain will then say, "Gee, guys, I tried, but now there's not enough time to find another religious and right-wing VP. I guess I'll have to go with Lieberman." McCain will then have won over the right, and have the VP he actually wants.

After this war was hinged on perpetuated lies that Saddam was connected to 9/11, was funding and had ties to Osama Bin Laden, that the ANTHRAX attacks were from Iraqis strains. After knowingly deceiving the American public they have the GAUL to focus on SURGE???

I thought PTA moms and dads were like community organizers since schools are a part of the community. So in a sense she got her start as a community organizer. It is funny how the Republicans think certain things don't apply to them. For example, what would the opinions be if one of Obama's daughters were pregnant at 17. The Republicans would be asking the Dems what type of example they are for our nation. I say it would be a terrible example for the Vice President of the United States to have a pregnant teen, what would other countries think of us then. America the Pitiful, that is what they will call us. If she is elected she would be the youngest grandma.

So, please, tell me exactly what it is that is Palin's job. She seems to be an "opening act" for McCain, and he just stands there, and lets it all come out of her scripted mouth. How dare she make fun of community service. People should read up on what kind of mayor/governor that she has been, and how she treats people. All the McCain camp is doing is stealing Obama's slogan for change, and throwing out negativity day after day. It is what Obama said the other day. It is time for this negativity to stop, and start discussing the issues. I am so looking forward to the debates--and, just let the McCain campaign cry sexist when Joe Biden starts grilling her. To me, a politician is a politican, there is no gender. If you want to talk like a "man", and throw punches like a "man", then you had better be able to take it like a man. Experience, experience, what has experience gotten us. This is my first time in really being curious about the election and i must say that as a christian, for mccain to say that he is a christian, i am very disappointed in the way that he has allowed the attacks to go on, i expected to see a different way of doing things, you dont have to diminish a person's accomplishments to make yourself look more appealing to just win an election. I am not proud of the way that my country has been going either, but it is time for change. Just because Obama is not experienced enough, dont mean that he cant be a successful president, like he said it is going to take all of us to help change this nation and restore it to the that it was suppose to be. As for Palin, she said that she has taken on the Old Boys club, so then she should be able to handle whatever the media or anyone else throw at her an not cry sexism. As a woman if i make the choice to hang with the big dogs then if a crap breaks out then i do what i need to do and not whine about it. We as Americans need to take a stand for change and not be afraid of going into a new direction that will leave a legacy for our children and grandchildren to come. Change is hard but if we as a nation work together we can change the Nation and the lives of others that watch to see how we were willing to try change. I would rather take someone without experience because at least you know what you are getting, and you know that they are willing to do their very best to prove that giving them the job was not a mistake. The ones that say they have all the experience is the reason that we went to war in the first place. John Mccain refuse to admit that we should have never been in Iraq in the first place, instead he harps about the success of the surge, well guess what if we hadn't went there a surge woundnt have been needed. Thousands of our troops have been lost fighting a war that we shouldnt have been in, in the first place, why are we not mad about that? Sadaam had nothing to do with 9/11 but our troops are in Iraq, please tell me mccain/palin why is that? Wake up America if we dont fight for change now, then if the republicans get elected again, we deserved just what we get for allowing more of the same. The rich can afford to pay higher taxes, look at how much they are willing to pay lawyers when they need one, or when they want to throw lavish parties, they can do it, while the working poor can just barely make ends meet. We nned to look out for each other because the republicans have no clue what it is to go from paycheck to paycheck. Whats wrong with people being able to get the same health care that the republicans get, i am sure that they will get excellent health care why not us as a nation?

Let's see - Palin and Obama: Palin enrolled at six colleges to receive a degree in journalism? There just has to be some kind of a story there! Obama graduated from Columbia with honors – went on Harvard and edited the Harvard Law Review and now teaches constitutional law at Univ. of Chicago..........Palin was mayor of a town of 6,700 people, fired several town officials that did not support her as a candidate and tried to remove books from the libraby and fired the librarian when she refused. After a town uproar, she reinstated the librarian who eventually resigned and moved from the town. ............ Obama worked as a COMMUNITY ORGANIZER in Chicago to help less fortunate people get a leg-up.........Palin was elected governor of Alaska, one of our least populated states...........Obamba won election to the Illinois House and then to the US Senate........Palin is against any kind of sex education or family planning and disapproves of abortion for anyone even in case or rape or incest. She does not want the polar bear on the Endangered list as it might upset the "mighty hunters" of Alaska. She dismisses glabal warming as a hoax even when the Alaskan ice is meting right under her nose. She approves of shooting wolves from the air and is a strong advocate and life-long memeber of the IRA...........

If Sarah Palin is going to continue making these types of statements...the Obama camp must attack. She continues to minimize the contributions of community organizers who are fighting injustice, better quality schools, better health care, community parks and better representation in municipal, state and national offices. She was given the opportunity to be evaluated as a solid choice for the VP office, but now it seems as if she was selected to do dirty work for Senator McCain and the RNC.

As an open minded voter...I am somewhat disturbed that the potential for her representation as a Leader of America could be possible. Sarah Palin...stop the negative banter and start pushing John McCain’s policies for a better America. Also, we are pleased that he served our country and Bill Clinton and George Bush did not go and fight a war...Just a reminder that you don't have to fight a War to be President who makes a difference for the citizens of this Country. Just like you don't have to be Political Scientist to be President.....You could be a journalist, attorney, doctor or even a hockey mom. Don't let Politics get in the way of your morals, values and you lose your integrity!

With the so called energizing of the republican base, how come mccain and his barking chihuahua has not overtaken obama in the polls. I thought that the republicans would be way ahead of obama after the barking chihuahua barked. But Gallup Poll and others still have obama leading even after the republican convention. Ain't they supposed to have the post convention boost?

Mind you, no matter what the polls say, it's gonna be obama by a landslide. I keep saying this to people. MARK MY WORD!!
