Despite his campaign schedule, Joe Biden is still teaching his law school class.

WILMINGTON, Delaware (CNN) — Joe Biden may be a vice presidential nominee during the week, but on Saturdays he's still trying to keep his old schedule.

After a week of criss-crossing the country, Biden returned home to Wilmington Friday evening in time to teach his law school class the next morning. Since 1991, the senator has taught "Current Topics in Constitutional Law" to a small seminar of students at Widener School of Law in Wilmington.

This is the only class the Democratic running mate has been able to helm so far this year. The first class was scheduled for the day after Barack Obama tapped Biden for his vp pick.

A spokesman for the university says he expects this to be Biden's last time teaching this semester.
The popular course is capped at 18 students, and there is a waiting list to register.

Biden and Obama had better get very serious, very quickly if they intend to win in November.

More and more comes out daily regarding Sarah Palin and more will be coming out.

She did NOT sell her jet on e-bay for a proit. It was actully removed from the site and sold by a brick and mortar company for a LOSS!

It appears that she and her staffers went trhough the files of the State Commissioner she fired for not firing her brother-in-law.

It also appears that she may have had an affair, which is why ehr husband dissolved the partnership.

If the American people are content to just accept this woman on blind faith because McCain says to trust her, then we and this country deserve exactly what we get.

MLD in NoDak   September 6th, 2008 11:50 am ET

This is supposed to be comments about Biden not Sarah Palin's baby, D. Bradshaw.

Way to Go Joe! They are very lucky students.

wow!!!!!   September 6th, 2008 11:49 am ET

overheard:

here is my big chance to become president

draw your own conclusions

JayInNewHampshire   September 6th, 2008 11:47 am ET

I agree with Ray. Take the gloves off and start swinging!!

KenB, MI   September 6th, 2008 11:47 am ET

He's still teaching…whoa

as they say, that's whats up.

that's not just an American standard, it should be a world standard.

whether its from the lecture hall or Capitol Hill education is a lifetime

Paula   September 6th, 2008 11:46 am ET

Why are we not seeing an in-depth report on the seperationist party which Palin's hunsband belonged to for several years?????????

Paul   September 6th, 2008 11:46 am ET

It'll be nice to have a VP who honors the Constitution instead of one who rips it to shreds.

richs   September 6th, 2008 11:46 am ET

Maybe Biden knows that when he and NOBAMA lose in November, he'll still need and job. So he's just trying to keep all of his options available.

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING   September 6th, 2008 11:46 am ET

Still has time for the common people now that is what America is about.

Janet- New York   September 6th, 2008 11:45 am ET

He and Obama are REAL people who truly care about the American people. When I listen to McCain and Palin I want to get sick- we can see right through their lies and deceit. Looking forward to the 1st VP debate. We'll see miss palin squirm then!!!!!
OBAMA/BIDEN 2008

Toni   September 6th, 2008 11:45 am ET

I just know McCain will have something smug to say about this. First it was bashing community service. Now he'll probably bash teachers.

Charlotte   September 6th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Joe you are going to need every spare moment to campaign. I like Joe, just don't like Obama. McCain is gaining in the polls. I might add, I do not put a lot of stock in polls. Obama should be the VP, not the top of the ticket. I can hande the less experienced in the number two spot. The DNC is stuck with what they chose. I am not.

Chris in CA   September 6th, 2008 11:43 am ET

Has anyone noticed in all of these Tickers, whether they be positive or negative stories for the McCain camp, that 80 to 90% of the commentary from people all over the country is pro Obama?

Food for thought.

Obama/Biden 08!

faye, NV   September 6th, 2008 11:42 am ET

This is a great man and has so much to offer. His students will miss him.

ML - California   September 6th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Joe Biden, it is nice to know that you have a lot of law background
and "kudos" to you for continuing to teach law school.

Willow, in Iowa   September 6th, 2008 11:41 am ET

I think both Democratic senators have done a wonderful job teaching constitutional law, etc. They at least know what can and can't be done, unlike the opposition (who mold and change the laws to fit what they want).

D. Bradshaw, we don't know anything about Palin's "problem" with her husband's business partner, and as of yesterday, the business partner put a hold on his divorce records so they can be sealed from public view. Too late, I think the NE has already been there, with their little secret cameras. next week, the NE is supposed to have the story AND proof.

Obama/Biden are who America need. Indeed, they are grounded and ethical.

Go Obama/Biden - YOU WILL WIN THE WHITEHOUSE - YES WE CAN!!!

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! Since when does a democrap know anything about or care about the U. S. Constitution????

They only care about urinating on it because they hate it. Proven fact!

Bulldog   September 6th, 2008 11:29 am ET

McCain has over 200 lobbyists on his campaign staff. Now is that the reform he's now preaching to all of us. He is a liar and the proof is in all of the people he is currently surrounding him with. Behind the scenes McCain is kiss these lobbyist butt.

Ray   September 6th, 2008 11:28 am ET

Biden should get quickly into the political fight.
The Republicans have pulled out all their amo and are pulling every trigger.

This is no time for Mr. Nice guy.

Jump into the FIGHT Biden!

KATHLEEN   September 6th, 2008 11:27 am ET

Biden teaches law since 1991! Good, we will have a Vice Pres.
And a Pres. Obama that taught THE CONSTITUION as our new leaders. Other than the last 8 years, we have had Presidents that
VALUED the Constituion. Meaning, they followed the USA constitution,
which should ALWAYS be withheld. Otherwise, we are a sinking ship!!!!

D.Bradshaw   September 6th, 2008 11:26 am ET

hmmmm, what I want to see is a reply to "Gary" from Alaska who is saying Palins new baby is the product of an affair Palin had with her husbands best friend..wow ! where did this Gary come from, oh, sorry, he said Alaska, hmmm, how did he get this info ? Biden, any of y'alls campaign want to investigate that ??? maybe, National Enquirer will..know there is more to the Palin story we are just now finding out..Garys comment is on the blogs to Oreillys show..wonder if Oreilly will follow up on that..naaaaah, he is too busy "disecting" Obama, even judging his "body language"..
a very concerned independant "white" grandmother, who NEVER had a pregnant underage child.thankfully…oh, but, I "did" have the "talk" with my children..practice what you preach Pain..and good luck with your daughter….

Bulldog   September 6th, 2008 11:24 am ET

WOW, Biden and Obama are professors of the Constitution. God knows we need people in the White House who understand the Constitution and not just what we all learn in elementary school. The current administration has violated the Constitution numerous times in the last 8 years and Obama and Biden will renew the Constitutional rights and limits of power back to Washington like our founding fathers intended.

gene   September 6th, 2008 11:23 am ET

I wonder if McCain's campaign will issue a statement belittling him for teaching like they do with Obama and serving his community?

ANGIE   September 6th, 2008 11:20 am ET

Love you joe cant wait to have you as vp OBAMA/BIDEN08

Moderate Republican for Obama   September 6th, 2008 11:19 am ET

Continue to spread the knowledge Biden! I'm a college instructor myself and I really appreciate the time Biden takes to teach the next generation of Americans.
