Just confirms how the GOP hate America by willing to vote for a VP candidate that wants to separate Alaska from the U.S. and then have the nerve to say Obama doesn't wear a flag pin. I dont care if I end up being the only one to vote for Obama but I refuse to accept you rednecks as Americans

This is so amazing, how McCain wants to separte himself from Bush but yet Bush wants you to know he approve of Sarah Palin. They are closer than a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. McCain is lying about putting Democrats in his cabinet, don't fall for that trick. Bush said the same thing when he ran in 2000. You see where we are now. McCain /Palin is Bush/Cheney. Wake up America we are truly heading down the same road with the same agendas. THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You Obamabot are running scared. I was a Hillary girl from the get go and your poison tongues got the best of you all then. Now you all NEED Hillary's help to save your precious OBAMA! So sad that what you reap is what you sow.

Obama's ego didn't know how to handle Hillary as VP so he didn't choose her. Surprise, surprise who would ever have guessed that John McCain (better known to Obamabot's as McLame, McSame, etc) would up the stakes. Now your hate is coming out against somebody you don't even know.

Remember what happened before.....!

Well, that's it then. Both Satan and the village idiot are for Palin.
Time to run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.

Schneider---you said it all. All I would add is that it has some scary implications to think that Iraq is a "task from God".

Personally, I'd rather see some one with 0 political experience in every political office. The longer you have been a politician the more corrupt and cynical you become.

As for the name calling on both sides of the aisle? I think it show a distinct lack of maturity.

Anyone who thinks that the USA should be following international examples should read some history and see what following gets you. The USA is still the greatest power on earth. That means we lead. If we do it well the world will follow and evil people will attempt to tear us down.

My greatest fear is that we will end up with a government the rest of the world approves of. This can only meant that they see that government as weak and vulnerable.

Inspired trickery is more like it. When will CNN start reporting on her crazy Pastor, on the truth about her earmarks, or her leaving her little town in debt and all of the bad judgments she made? Granted, the GOP manufactured their own celebrity - but when will the main stream press start questioning her ethics, her record, her 'lack' of vetting and knowledge, her AIP backing? Step up CNN! You certainly didn't mind running with Rev. Wright 24/7...you are running out of time to inform America what this candidate really has done.

Sarah Palin, governor of a state with a population the size of a medium sized american city, crime rates far belaow the average small city, and minority population far below the national average, is by no means ready to be vice president of the United States. She has experienced the kind of problem that any big city mayor has. By know means can she understand what the remainder of the country outside Alaska encounters on a daily basis, because Alaska does not have the poverty, housing issues, poor public education, homelessness, violent crime, lack of healthcare, and unemployment.

You all have to look at the records of the candidates and decide who would make the best president rather than bashing Bush. It will NOT be his 3rd term, and anyone who thinks it is doesn't know John McCain. Also, if Obama is president who do you think will make HIS decisions? The DO NOTHING Democtratic Senate and Congress, both have LOWER ratings that GW Bush. Them are the FACTs nobody is talking about. Go figure! So, in whom do you put your Trust! Someone who doesn't have any original ideas (e.g. no bills with his name on them) or one that constantly reaches to others and authors tough bills, with Democrates too.

No wonder Bush thinks she's an inspired pick. She knows as little about how the world works as he does. Today she said that the problem with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac was that they used too many taxpayer dollars. Um, no Sarah, the problem with Fannie and Freddie is that they were unregulated PRIVATELY run institutions that bought and made stupid loans and the taxpayer money is going to be spent bailing them out, just like it was spent to bail out Bear-Stearns, another PRIVATE institution.

As a Texan and a community organizer for 30 years, I was glad to rid our state of George Bush. He left big deficits for Texas as he has done for The United States. Please give me one activity in his life that shows he is a success? His family protected him from bankruptcy, his father protected him from losing his baseball team (which Arlington, Texas is still paying for to make him a millionaire), and the Republicans will not protect him now. So, Palin wants his recommendation? I think not. She very seldom mentions his name. They are lying now and will continue to lie for their "big business" partners who have put this country and the world in harms way. Forget the foreign terrorists. We have an "economic terrorist" running our government. He’s an American. What could the terrorists have done worse than George Bush to destroy this country? 9-11 was surely a tragedy which we are surviving......how are we going to survive the Bush administration and what they have done to the world by pushing us toward another cold war? Give someone else a chance to clean this up. Vote for someone who cares about equal opportunity for all and did not vote for Bush programs 90 percent of the time.

If McCain wins, he can thank Fox -- not the news network, but the creators of American Idol. This election is shaping up to be more about preceived popularity than about the issues.

I forgot --- that's what McCain campaign manager this election would be about personality and not the issues. The go olde USA may have the best election process in the world, but what we value in our canidates is starting to make us a laughting stock to the rest of the world.

Yea Sarah Palin is a governor of a small state with less population then 16 US cities and Obama’s State Senate district of the south side of Chicago look what Bush did with our economy she will do the same.

Look at her promotion of a 40 billion dollar Alaska Pipeline to the lower 48 states. That is a big oil Bush giveaway all over again. It comes from the oil fields of Alaska alone where in the lower 48 States natural gas is from several different sources; oil, shale, coal mines etc. There is 16 time more proven Natural gas reserves in the lower 48 states than there is in Alaska, why build a 4,000 mile pipeline from no-where when you could do it all with a lot less cost in the lower 48 states.

The proposed Alaska Pipelines is the mother of all "Pork Barrel Spending Projects" which MacCain and Palin don't mind giving to big oil. This will give the residence of Alaska a huge windfall tax return. No wonder she is so popular in her home state.......

Why run stories that aren't really news like this one? The prez parroting the party line, "executive experience" and all - no wonder he supports her, he had zero foreign policy experience when he ran...and gee, didn't that turn out swell for the country?

How about less stating the obvious and more actual content, like pointing out when the candidates are lying, happening more and more lately? The press is supposed to have a responsibility to the public, not just be a delivery device for lies and hype.

Four years is a very long time to give away to Bush Part III folks! Don't fall for the lies and deception please. Bush has been pro-life, Cheney has been pro-2nd ammendment for the last 8 years. The country is in a messy ditch. Those positions have done nothing for governance folks.

Not this time!

Hey CNN We Ind. and Rep. and Dems. will boycott you if you don't start truly vetting Obama. His true dealing with Ayers, Rezko, Wright, 130 present votes, Mayor Daley and the Chicago politicians.

Yeah lets answer some of the questions that Fox (of all stations) has been bringing up for almost a year!

Yeah, the same experience Bush had as Governor in a state Texas where the legislature like Alaska does most of the work. McCain has no legislative experience, Palin does not have any. It is ironic and misleading, because Romney, Huckabe, Pawlenty and Jindal all have executive experience and also the current Governor of Hawaii who is also a female. McCain and Rove choose Palin because of the "family image" which got butchered because they forgot her daughter was pregnant. Then they use the "bikini photo with a weapon", the issue here is that Palin is not ready, but if the MSM question her stance on the issues they get attacked as sexist. The GOP is at it again, the question is will America awake or will they doom themselves to another 4 years of a Palin Presidency, let's face it McCain is sick and most likely have terminal cancer. The MSM need to do their job!

This coming from a mentally ill idiot.

Note to all redneck, right wingers. Unless poll respondents number in the millions, don't think that you've got this thing tied up with a ribbon.

There are also people who would love to do nothing more than to lie in a poll to give the McCain camp a false set of security. The people who count most in this election will vote with their hearts and an informed mind. Sarah Palin's skeletons continue to march out of the closet, and since McCain resembles a corpse himself, handing over the reigns to her is enough for them to either think Obama/Biden or independent. Perhaps McCain has forgotten that more independent votes cast will take votes away from him. I don't think they'll let McCain sell them a gimmick, and if they do vote independent, there still would be Obama's army of newly minted democratic voters. Enjoy the ride on the straight talk express while it lasts, the Obama/Biden bullet train will run it right off the track.

People who think that McCain is not 3rd bush term, live in a fairy tale. This Palin ticket makes it 3rd bush term extreme. I just saw a video on CNN, in her church Palin saying that GOD sent troops to Iraq... did GOD send the troops to die too?

Palin is Dick's Mistress. I saw it on you tube. This is how she got the VP Slot. McMaverick was forced to choose her to keep the affair quiet.

Inspired by what-desperation? McCain didn't care about finding a competent running mate who could take care of our country in case he dies-he chose someone who he felt could sway Hillary voters to the dark side! Don't fall for it Hillary supporters and Independents! Palin may be a great mom who can juggle a job and family, but so are most of my friends, and I wouldn't vote for them to be president! This is too important to get wrong people! The world is watching, and we need to make a smarter choice this year!

I find the republican's decision for VP a mockery and I find it frightening that people are actually considering voting for Palin .
