You need to have a blog where people can comment on Palin and the mainstream political candidates that are being discussed at the moment. Please transfer this to Campbell Brown....Joe Johns supposedly just debunked the Palin claims by saying she actually did turn down funding for the bridge to nowhere once it became national news, but he failed to mention that she still took the money (from us, not from oil rich Alaska) and used it to fund other Alaska state expenditures. Couldn't it have been better used to rebuild infrastructure in the lower 48? What she did is like a student getting scholarship money to attend college and then using it to buy a car. If you publish the "no bias, no bull" headline, then tell the entire truth!

Thanks John,

Now you have united the Democratic Party because people will come out of the woodwork to keep Sarah from reaching D.C. She is a phony and a fake and does not deserve to be considered for dogcatcher, let alone VP.

I hope the press wears her out with questions because she is not ready for PRIME TIME.

Along with the glamour of the national spotlight, comes the glare of a heated spotlight. I hope Sarah has sunscreen lotion.

I liked what Ron Paul said last week in Minnesota at the convention in his honor, in effect, that the power of thought is greater than any military force. Over time, a consensus will be reached, and these politicians better listen to the people they represent. Let's keep up the debate!

Ron Paul with all due respect is having a meltdown. Stick to the facts Paul and not to your desires....how much better are you than McLame?I know "Old" sucks but this isn't about old and centurian idealism but about futuristic ideals. None of which you or ,"Old Man River McCain" have.

I really like her, it's just too bad she doesn't have a shot at winning.

I'd LOVE to see the media bring more attention to her though and have her apart of the debates with Obama and McCain.

i have followed this election interestingly. I am quite appalled at the low level of intelligence being exhibited by some in this election matters. Intelligence and ability to grasp issues are not gender or race related. its the sense of mind to stay focused on whats right for now and the future. All these cries about Obama, Palin, biden and cain should be analysed and pros and cons weighted, then the best possible choice should be made.

1. Is it not obvious the only reason Sarah Palin is on McCain's ticket is to attract disgruntled female voters?

2. For a woman who cannot remember and defend her positions on matters, i am surprised she gets any attention at all for being dumb.

3. were this some african politics, CNN would be screaming and saying despicable things about the electorate process

4. if i were to vote, wouldn't i look out for the candidate that offers better policies and not lies, talks about issues and not hiding under nuances, the one who is more forward facing not one dwelling in the glories of a failed war..

Come on, i am surprised at all the nobama's, no hillary no obama, and mccain supporters. It goes to show our partisan the USA can be, i mean people voting on color, gender and all that crap rather than facing the realities of an economic downturn, deteriorating educational system, poor international image because of unreasonable wars.

I am not eligible to vote, however in the light of recent events, I think McCain and Palin are a tard too wrong. A mum who cannot practice what she preaches and a man who is not in touch with the times are not the best choice for u america...

You gotta think straight and now is the time!!!

Ron -- the stakes are too high. I understand that Obama may not be a perfect candidate but we cannot afford 4 more years of dangerous budget deficits, war and bad economic policies.

We owe trillions of dollar to the Chinese because of GOP policies. If we get into a conflict, the Chinese won't have to use a single bomb. All they have to do is sell their USD foreign reserve and they're going to send us back into ice age.

Let's put our differences aside for the sake of our future.

I supported Ron Paul's campaign with my time, energy, about $2000, and endless e-mailing. He is brilliant, as opposed to old 894 out of 899 John McCain. I hope his movement towards liberty and a constitutional government will expand. I am disappointed that he did not endorse Barack Obama. While Obama is way too liberal, he is a far, far better choice than the brain-dead neoconservative sellout McCain. With the election so close, his endorsement of Obama could have been the thing that saves our country from another four years of Bush disaster.

If people think Hillary as Secretary of State is so wonderful, you are really brainwashed. That would be the biggest disaster this country would ever see. People do not care for Pelosi so Hillary is lost her chance when she was not picked by Obama.

I say Good for Ron Paul! In Your Face!

Maybe the next time around, the GOP won't be so arrogant.

Maybe the next time they'll think twice about hiring young kids to run around the state GOP conventions handing out smear campaign flyers and shoving "Vote Unity Slate" signs in the delegates' faces while they're trying to fill out their ballots.

I know. I was there, and my name was on that smear flyer.

This is what the GOP needs, a good kick in the head.

As for Obama, sure, let him win. Let people find out what it's like to have a socialist government who takes 60% of their paycheck in the name of "social responsibility". Maybe in 2 years when it's time to pick a new Congress, they'll vote a little wiser. Maybe they'll forget about "voting Republican" or "voting Democrat". Maybe they'll read the Constitution and think about voting AMERICAN.

I can't understand the idea of using your vote as a protest. Your vote MATTERS and if you don't vote for someone who actually has a chance at winning, you end up with George Bush for 8 years. Or his wannabee successor John McCain.

If you don't like our voting system, if you want a viable third party, then work for it between elections and make it into something realistic. Nobody pays attention to your third party protest votes.

Even if you feel you're voting for the lesser of two evils....VOTE for a republican or a democrat then work to change the system in a more productive manner.

This old white woman is still voting for Obama. No protests, no gender voting.

Hahaha, people who actually believe Paul lost fair and square, as if the media is not part and parcel of the establishment and had nothing to do with Obama the commie and McCain the fascist being where they are today. I bet these people never even checked out Google Trends to compare who was getting the most attention from the public with who got the most attention from the media and the very clear results the media attention garnered.

Fair and square. Yeah, and Fox News is fair and balanced.

Yeah, vote Obama. Big government hasn't worked because it hasn't gotten big enough, but Obama will save us from that- and we'll pay for it.

The reality is, Nader pulls votes from Obama, and Barr pulls votes from Mccain. Yes, for all of those stupid white women voting for Palin just because she is a woman probably didn't even know there is another woman running for President, and she's black, which gets the best of both worlds. The fact is, this country is so divided based on their own biases that they are bringing to the voting booth that it is very, very sad that they are forgetting about the state of condidtions in our country and in our world, and America's place in the world. If you vote for Obama, it will ensure stability until another Republican gets voted into office again.

I actually considered voting for McCain until Sarah Palin came along.

Funny thing is that everyone, even mainstream media calls this man a nutcase, a cook or crazy but he's been right in regards to just about everything that he has predicted in the last 15 years. He warned of the dollar collapse before anyone else, he spoke of the housing bubble years before it started to pop and yet people call him crazy. I think he ideas quite a bit different than what our current administrations ideas are but is that a bad thing? People talk about Obama and his "Hope & Change" platform but go back into history and look at what George W ran on in 2000; our country would have been a lot different if he would have actually stuck to that plan.

As clearly laid out in Paul's book The Revolution, voting for either major party results in fundamentally the same equation. You're merely picking which side of an arcade token you want to look at for the next 4 years. Obama is NOT anti-war, he continues to support keeping our troops in 130 nations (including Iraq) at our taxpayers' expense. Obama does NOT support any liberal social agenda for gays, recreational drug users or immigrants. Every time he tries to allude to one, he backtracks himself. Obama is merely the same politics with a dark hue and the choice of Biden proves it. Likewise, McCain is not a fiscal conservative by any reasonable stretch of the imagination. The GOP, while controlling all three branches of government hasn't bothered to overturn Roe v. Wade because it makes too much money for all the fiscally conservative doctors and pharmaceutical company reps profiteering from abortion. Not even Palin is going to change that, she will do exactly what Wall St. and the other benefactors of corporate welfare tell her to. The only "Maverick" or "Change Candidate" was Paul with his "moon-bat" agenda of sound fiscal policy and the removal of the Nanny State trying to micromanage everyones' life (domestically and internationally) at great American taxpayer expense. The only viable option for a patriot is NOT to continue to vote for same token presenting two sides of a moot debate, but to protest the charade by providing electoral accounting information as to the extent of our discontent. Unless you're content with the status quo, the only voice for your discontent is a 3rd. party candidate. Only the most gullible of fools thinks Obama will deliver them from corruption and abuse.

Ron Paul has apparently joined Condi Rice, Scott McClellan, and possibly Colin Powell as prominent Republicans not voting for their party. That says a lot about John "Bomb bomb bomb Iran" McCain.

Former Paul Supporter 4 Obama/Biden

Anybody who was supporting Ron Paul would rather have their hands cut off before voting for these Communists. Ron Paul is against unfair taxes, that is all Barack Obama stands for. Obviously you are a Obambi troll trying to convince Ron Paul supporters of this lie. Because Ron Paul are probably the most common sense educated voters in this election(and in favor of that little document, the Constitution). Obama would roll it up and smoke joints with Ayers, that is what he would do with our constitution.

Ron Paul is against naturalized citizenship just for being born here. Obama will turn our great country into Little Kenya if he can

Ron Paul is a good messenger for limited government & fiscal restraint, bringing our troops home & keeping an arms-length from other countries' affairs, defending our constitutional rights & challenging the tax structure of this country. He makes the connection between personal freedom & material well-being, which is infringed upon by an overwheening government. Also, we're entitled to some straight talk about the ownership & control of the Federal Reserve.

Ron Paul is probably 4-5 years ahead of the times. These issues will become more topical, as people become more aware of the critical state of our economy & foreign affairs. An articulate spokesman & real gentleman, not to be under-estimated in terms of political impact now and in the future.

Ron Paul campaigned as a capitalist, but then splits his endorsement among 2 capitalists and 2 quasi-socialists.

If anybody thinks that Ron Paul actually has any principles that he stands on, then please share with us what flavor of Kool Aid you're drinking. Because there is no way in hell that a true believer in capitalism is going to endorse extremist left-wing nutcases like Nader and McKinney.

Ron Paul's true colors just came out.
