Biden starting debate prep

Biden is preparing to Debate Palin.
Biden is preparing to Debate Palin.

CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) - Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm has been tapped to help Joe Biden as he prepares to take on GOP rival Sarah Palin in the upcoming vice presidential debate.

Granholm will spend four days helping Biden sharpen his skills before he faces off with Palin October 2.

At a fundraiser Tuesday night, Biden told supporters debating Palin would be tricky.

“Folks look, I know what she’s going to try to do. She’s going to try to make it as personal as she can. She’s going to take a lot of straight lefts and jabs at me, she’s going to try to get me to respond, she’s going to try to get me to respond in a personal way," Biden said. "That’s not my style. I’m not going to do it.”

Instead, Biden said he would "try very hard" to keep the focus on health care, the struggling economy and foreign policy.

LOL I could see ALL of Washington wearing yellow buttons saying "Where is Sarah" when she not been to her office for 312 days in the year..... Then find out they paid her Per Diem to sleep in her own home and going hunting and fishing!

Joe, please go after her. She is the one who likened herself to a pit bull. While as a woman I lament the unfunny remark she made, she wants to have a tough job, then she can answer the tough questions. As for the faux outrage over your remarks on stem cell research – what is their problem? She isn't the only American with a child with special needs. And frankly the GOP hasn't done anything that helps my Asperger's son. That is their record and they are just going to have to live with it. But their record is fair game. She doesn't get to hide behind her baby and claim the other side isn't playing fair. If we want to talk about not playing fair we can all hear Senator McCain's unfunny remark about Chelsea Clinton. Now THAT was a low blow.

Obama needs to stop digging himself further into a hole. The race is between him and McCain, stay focus. I don't think Obama was talking about Palin in regards to the lipstick comment but I have already heard some women talking about it and it's not good. They're adding the "sweetie" comment Obama called a woman reporter and the fact the he never attempted to vet Sen Clinton and wondering if he's just using a womens right to choose which he brings up a lot as a political scam to get women.

LMAO ... the Gov. of Michigan is going to help Biden prepare for his debate with VP Nominee Palin. What a freaking joke!!! The Michigan governor has failed in her own state and her people hate her, and now she is going to prep Biden. This is getting real funny. It's like Lauren and Hardy ... perhaps Lauren and Biden.

RIP Biden ... the barracuda is going to dispose of you!

Ask her why 3 out of 4 presidential and vice-presidential candidates appeared on week-end talk shows. Even McSame's campaign committee knows she's not ready...

  7. Will the real John McCain please stand up

How do you prepare to debate a woman who many of us believe is not anywhere close to being qualified to be LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD ON DAY ONE?

    SARAH PALIN RESUME:

    EXCELLENT READER OF SCRIPTED SPEECHES

EXPERT AND DECEPTION AND TELLING LIES.

EXCELLENT AT THINKING THAT THE WILL OF GOD IS RESPSONSIBLE FOR EL QUEDA, IRAQ WAR, TERRORISM ETC.

EXCELLENT AT BEING A PIT BULL HOCKEY MOM DEFINED IN CANADA AS SOMEONE THAT MEDDLES AND THINKS SHE KNOWS MORE ABOUT HOCKEY THAN SHE REALLY DOES OR THINKS HER LITTLE JOHNNY OR JENNY IS BETTER THAN THEY REALLY ARE.

THAT'S IT FOLKS. YOUR POTENTIAL NEXT COMMANDER IN CHIEF. PUTIN AND CHAVEZ AND MANY OTHERS WILL HAVE A FIELD DAY WITH HER.

WILL THE REAL JOHN MCCAIN PLEASE STAND UP? THE FAIRLY HONORABLE 2000 JOHN OR THE LYING 2008 JOHN WITH THE 7 HOUSES HE FORGOT ABOUT.

    To JB

For your information, Abraham Lincoln had the same profile as Obama and he is one of our greatest Presidents.

    They both

    1) Were State Senators
    2) Lincoln lost the Senate Race to become Prez of USA
    3) Obama lost against Bobby Rush to become Senator of IL
    4) Lincoln and Obama both hold Law Degree

    It's Judgement, vision and patience.

Who has the patience to listen to 350 milion Americans? McCain or Obama?

Who has the judgement to acquire a second opinion before rushing to the war in Iraq? McCain or Obama?

Who has the vision, besides drilling to truly help us be energy independence? McCain or Obama?

Go Biden! You have the strength and knowledge to be the backbone of the Obama/Biden Adminstration. Two former law scholars in the White House! I love it!

I applaud McCain & Palin for NOT mentioning too much about their positions yet. They're waiting for the debates. Otherwise, the Dems will steal their great ideas for this country. When the debates start and there are no tele-promters, we'll see which side makes the most sense. Obama will be shown (again) for the loser that he is and how inexperienced he really is. McCain was brilliant in his choice for VP and this country will only get better and better when McCain/Falin are elected. I'm tired of the Dems and their social programs that take away the money that we work so hard to earn. The programs are only there as job security for the Dems. It's time Americans work for what they want. It will mean a lot more to them when they earn it themselves.

Just more garbage talk and slander spread by the Democrats and Nobama . LOOK AND SEE IF HE STILL HAS HIS INFLATE TOO 32 LBS. TATTOO ON HIS LIPS . She has lipstick slogan , now he has inflate slogan , hurts too hear doesn't it. I will not for Obama because i have always said he is not ready to lead this country, Hillary should have been the candidate for the Democrats and she had a proven politician behind her in her husband. Sarah Palin has a record that has helped her state with her having a 82% approval rating . Obama doesn't have those kind of ratings in his state. Joe Biden doesn't have them either. Biden was just as bad of a pick for the Democratic party as Obama was and therefore alot of the Democrats I know will vote for McCain and Palin instead of our party choice. It is not just the women of this party who are changing there picks it is also the men. The most rude people I have witnessed on these blogs are the Obama supporters and I feel they are Rev. Wright all over again . People I know will take our chances with McCain and Palin and hopefully the Democrats will have there Party in line and appoint a more qualified candidate to be the potus. Sorry Nobama go McCAIN & PALIN

I get tired of hearing how they have to be careful on how they treat Palin because she is a women. She should be treated any way a man would be treated. Like Clinton said if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. I do think Obama should stay with issues and let Biden and everyone else take care of Palin. Even though they say you are voting for the top of the ticket, you would never know it by this race, the republican's has made the vp running mate as more important then the top man. Also why are they keeping her away from the press? I can think of only two reasons, one she is not experienced enough or two they are hiding something.

If they actually do stay focused on the issues, Biden will be silent. Democrats have nothing to offer and all they do is try to destroy people. They have nothing else to offer. I look forward to 8 years of McCain followed by 8 years of Palin. Maybe the dems will have another shot in 2024.

  17. Agent of Change

Obama is THE AGENT OF CHANGE!!!

Except he picked Biden as VP.
Except he promises lower taxes in spite of hugh deficits to buy votes, which is was a Rupublican tactic.
Except that he brings on the same old attack politics.
Except that he belonged to Wright's race dividing church for 30 years.
Except, except, except....the list goes on.

But Obama is the AGENT OF CHANGE!! AND BUSH IS A GREAT LEADER!! Keep believing it Amercia.

See this? Biden wants to prepare for 4 days just to sharpen his skills. Palin has to be prepared for almost 2 weeks just to talk to the press.

What ever happened to ready on day one? Biden is. Obama is. The GOP is not.

    Obama/Biden 08!

12 days and counting since Governor Palin was introduced as Senator McCain's Running Mate. 12 days and the media has not had a chance to interview Governor Palin. 12 days and the same convention speech over and over.

Obama bin Biden NO WAY !!!

As per Obama a Pig will always be a Pig.
Lipstick do not belong on a Pig's lips.
    Pigs live in Mud.

    Likewise.
The White House will always be the White House.
The White House will always be White.
There has always been White Men at the White House.
BLACK Men do not belong to the White House.

Nothing wrong with this Obama Logic. Is There ???

  25. Enlightened Voter

Nightengale blah, blah, blah – I see your back with your old venomous tricks. Obama didn't call Palin a pig although she is. He called mccain's policy a pig with lipstick meaning mccain was trying to dress up his policy. Of course you didn't bother to research that, typical, just attack, attack, attack despite the facts. BTW mccain used the exact same phrase last year referring to one of Hillary's policies. But i am sure that is okay with you right? Disgusting!
