i just listen to McCain speech more of the same. People he have not got the memo. Please talk about the issues and answer questions from the audience. McCain is avoiding the American people but he says he put country first. Can someone tell me how. Enough is Enough McCain shut up or produce up.

Grinell Meadors   September 10th, 2008 11:52 am ET

Obama called Palin a pig and thought no-one would notice?? He thinks Americans are stupid unless they graduated from Harvard.

The real pig is Obama. Snort! snort!

KenB, MI   September 10th, 2008 11:52 am ET

no more egg shell politics…

If you can put on the gloves and jump in the ring, you can get knocked the humpty dumpty out

we can either say no to more of the same or continue down a path of distraction and confusion.

MCCAIN AND PALIN REPRESENT WHY OTHER COUNTRIES HATE AMERICA.

j.a. jORDAN   September 10th, 2008 11:52 am ET

There is just so little substance in the Palin/McCain sphere, yes I said Palin/McCain and not reverse, she is doing most of the talking, who leads who here? Is it a wonder most of the rest of the world sees us as a country out of touch!

Paul   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

This must be a Dem day. All the comments support the loser. I guess you can tell who stays home and waits for a government check. I'm home, but I earned it after 50 years of work. Have you checked the Gallup poll lately. Have a good day.

Ex-mod-GOP for Obama   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

And we already know the script because they just keep using it over and over and over and over and over ad infinitum. Palin's speech was already old at the convention — I read most of her "zingers" in Newsweek two hours before she spoke!

Fred   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

What a pathetic, pathetic campaign McCain is running. So sad to see a good man reduced to running sleazy ads and listening to an unqualified running mate repeat the same tired lines.

JD in Moraga, CA   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

Always fun to watch the Palin-McCain ticket on their Bridge to Nowhere. Maybe Sarah can pick up some nice lipstick, and John can get some more $500 shoes after the rally…Ha Ha Ha!

soldier   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

I don't know how we can do this to ourself. I am sure all our competitors will love the republicans to win the election to take us deep under ground while they are prospering.

As a register republican all my family and friends are voting for the democratic ticket because it is more balance.

Enlightened Voter   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

My 73 year old neighbor went to Lancaster PA yesterday to see mccain and palin speak. My neighbor is a staunch republican and has been all of her life. She is also very conservative and an evangelical christian. When she came back from the rally she knocked on my door and asked me did she have to do anything to be able to vote Democratic in november. She said she could not vote this republican ticket. And this coming from a woman who voted for bush, twice.

Tired, GA   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

Hearing Palin give the same speech over, and over, and over, and over again………now I can sympathize with what John McCain had to go through as a POW………Please make her stop!

joey from NC   September 10th, 2008 11:51 am ET

anyone else notice that the mccain/palin signs are blue? Isn't republican supposed to represent the color red? Is john mccain even trying to come off as a democrat with his blue colored signs?

Same introduction from Palin to McCain and McCain to Palin … do they really think we the people are so stupid not to notice the redundancy ?.The e-Bay and other stories are getting really old. Great opportunity for change

Is that a leach on McCain ??   September 10th, 2008 11:50 am ET

Oh..no that's Palin.

One day they are going to have to let the VP wanna be out in public by herself.

And when that happens…we gonna have some fun!!!!

Get Real   September 10th, 2008 11:50 am ET

Just Watced it –

They said nothing about the Issues.

Funny –
They have only copied everything they claim to not like about Obama

They have made this into a popularity Celebrity Match.
And of course they are trying to copy the Change message.

JB   September 10th, 2008 11:50 am ET

Obama is saying "enough is enough" when it comes to him being accused of sexism about the lipstick on the pig comments that he made but he and his campaign didn't waste any time during the primaries accusing Bill and Hillary Clinton of racism with their JFK and Jesse Jackson comments. Where was the "enough is enough" out cry then?

M   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

Patti, she is trying to brain wash us with the same false lines. Oh, I cannot wait for the debates! I bet you I will be able to recite every line of hers by then! ;)

People. wake up! The Repbubs have NO PLAN on their newly adopted "change" slogan. Don't buy into it or America will turn into a joke.

McWhine   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

By the way, does John McCain think Sarah Palin a PIG? If he does not, why would he lipstick on a pig refers to her???

J from DC   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

So what’s the real deal, McCain picked Palin not because he is worried about women, but to distract voters from Biden. McCain was worried about Biden getting media attention. Biden has been in DC longer. Who else know McCain better then Biden? Who else can challenge his record, or reveal whatever else he may know about McCain over the years. Question is, what does Biden know???

Anonymous   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

He's actually stepped up the number of "my friends" per speech.

He's a used car salesman, trying to force a lemon on the American people.

Kelby from Houston, TX   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

Are they going to repsond to what Obama said at his press conference? Or are they just going to continue to push the same lies on the same gullable group of people. No poor person should be voting republican this year. No patriot should be voting republican this year.

Lois   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

Palin is saying the same identical words and bumpers sticker phrases as she said from her prepared speech at the RNC. Does this mean she cannot speak for herself yet? I mean come on, she has nothing to add from her own mind? Nothing? Amazing how low the bar has been set by the Republicans. And they all seem to accept this. Amazing, simply amazing.

Ron   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

did you hear the one about my daddy left home when i was two i was raised by a single mom ( and my grand parents and my step father and my garnd parents again) we heared it for over a year

White Woman For Obama   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

I was a supporter for Mcain but since Mrs.Palin is on the ticket I think he is incompetent when it comes to judgement of character. Why in the world did he choose her she isn't capable of running anything but her mouth. I'm a white woman and she is so far from a real conservative woman she need to go back to Alaska. I never thought in a million years I would be voting for a black man,but he will be getting my vote.

Dawn Lancaster   September 10th, 2008 11:49 am ET

She's like a broken record. they all look kind of silly up there, Cindy looks like she's gaurding her man. I find it interesting that woman are supposedly backing her more than Obama. If McCain Palin are in office, you can say goodbye to pro-birth control and pro-choice. No rec sex for woman is what the right extremist want.

Every hateful attack Obama launches = one less vote for Obama.

Joe Regis   September 10th, 2008 11:48 am ET

I keep hearing the same speeches from McCain-Palin. This is like reading from a book or script without consideration of the reality of the failed policies of the last 8 years. I think the problem is the repubs gives no mind to the day to day hapenning of real Americans but the playbook of what works for the republicans.

Obama/Biden 08/12.

idiocy cannot be more flagrant this woman. She is been as an attack god. She cannot talk foreign policy, energy poicy, education so. Enough is enough

Eric   September 10th, 2008 11:48 am ET

Obama & Biden might be right, but come the debates, they've lost. McCain is an awesome debater while Palin's debate skills are legendary. She just has to give one sentence and its over for Biden. This sucks because Obama would be the best President.

Fewer are fools for Obama each day.   September 10th, 2008 11:47 am ET

I wish you the best.

Obama will bash and trash you.

He will demean, mock, jeer and deride you.

He will dismiss women as irrelevant.

We saw it happen once… we are watching a repeat of the same ole politics as usual from the man of hope and change.

Hello!!!!   September 10th, 2008 11:47 am ET

Patti, everyone else has had over a year to talk to the voters, she's had 2 weeks. How many time have you heard the same lines from Obama??

GOP are phonies   September 10th, 2008 11:47 am ET

Anyone who wants this bimbo a heartbeat away from the presidency needs to have their own heart checked – for signs of life!

Donna   September 10th, 2008 11:47 am ET

I finally figured out why Palin keeps giving the same speech…she's taking a page from McCain's playbook. I just finished listening to them in Virginia. Their speeches were exactly the same ones they've done in every other stop…still no real substance, just more empty promises. I figure he just doesn't remember giving it before and she just isn't smart enough to learn a new one. Do they think we're stupid? When do they quit dishing out the scraps, and actually get to the real meat?

Anonymous   September 10th, 2008 11:47 am ET

Among the other nonsense he's spewing, McCain just said that Palin has a record on Iraq and she's been right. I must have missed it.

IndependentThinker, NY   September 10th, 2008 11:47 am ET

Unbelievable !!
I just watched their event in VA, she keeps repeating the same speech over and over and never got questions from the public
This is pathetic and scary, she's a fake politician …

GOP sucks
How in the world someone with an half brain thinks this woman is ready to take over if something happens to McCain ?

WOW is Palin on top of the ticket! McCain you must feel like her DICTATORSHIP is already working!

Hello!!!!   September 10th, 2008 11:46 am ET

Obama and Biden voted FOR the Bridge to Nowhere in the Senate, then when the money could have been redirected to Katrina Aid, they voted against it. Get the facts straight, please.

Otis   September 10th, 2008 11:46 am ET

Generally speaking, this election is showing how McCain is highlighting Obama's inexperience. You're in a day of age where everything can be taken out of context. What do you do? You use statements like "lipstick on a pig" when the word "lipstick" was used to define the difference between hockey moms and pitbulls.

Poor choice of words by Obama. I think the Republicans are in the right to attack him.

Of course…what this does to solving our problems? You got me.

Obama is a disgrace to the American people and he continues to show his true colors as do the democrats. They can't take the heat and they can't face facts….

I am so excited about McCain/Palin and cannot wait to vote!

Debby   September 10th, 2008 11:46 am ET

Hey Dems. its a rally just like Obama had and gave the same speech place after place. How many times did we him start off with I am son from a single mother add nauseum.

Chipster   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

I missed the speech. What did McCain say about:

-equal pay for equal work
-stem cell research
-mortgage default
-record breaking numbers of bankruptcy
-outsourced jobs
-deficit spending by a Republican House, Senate, & WH for the last 7 years
-preemptive war and, as a bonus, preemptive detention
-disrespect for our allies
-extraordinary rendition
-loss of health care coverage
-increased gas and energy prices related to depleted oil and record profits for gas companies

Huh? Huh? What did he say?

Kenn   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

They always use the same line, same jokes, old jokes….sigh….
The media is already rebutting their claims about the bridge to nowhere and they still use it. Lies Lies Lies….

Bobby   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

How can anyone possibly lead and run our country when the person can't even take care of their household??? A young son with Downs Syndrome, a pregnant teenage daughter and she's out all over the country on a campaign trail while her husband is snowmobile racing somewhere in Alaska??? I was going to vote for McCain before he made his unwise decision to pick Palin for his running mate, "if" I vote at all it will be now for Obama, what a sad year for elections.

Phantom of the Oprah   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

Don't let the Obama bandwagon for change- fueled by hatred, insults, mocking, jeering derision- roll over you.

He did that to HRC and to women of his own party.

Look out… you are next in line for the Chicago politician.

Ximena   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

We hear the same retoric over and over again because they don't
have anything new. The same old policies that we have suffered for 8 years.
I feel proud of Senator Obama an intelligent man who is trying to
focus on the issues which are important to me.

Never let them see you sweat....   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

TERRI,
I AGREE WITH YOU 100%

No Brain MCain/Empty Pantsuit Palin   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

The insult to pigs and pitbulls and her out of touch, relic of a sidekick. Now who's the ventriloquist?

Liars   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

McCain and Palin are liars! In her nomination speech, Palin said that she stopped the bridge to no where, but Congress cancelled the bridge project. Palin did not go against it until after Congress cancelled it. She was for it before she was against it.

Chuck   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

Ok. The GOP wrapped up their convention last Thursday, and introduced Sarah Palin to the world, as a reformer, conservative, maverick, Pitbull, and "Hockey Mom". That's great!!! I'd also like to add one more. Parrot!!! Since her speech last week, Palin has repeated herself ad nauseum to the American public, and it's getting(gotten) a little old.

Good grief Palin, have an original thought, please. That's great to say the same things to the GOP fanbase, but it's time to reach out to the rest of America and introduce the views of the GOP VP candidate.

Sen. McCain, take the muzzle off of the "Pitbull" and let her speak. I'd like to believe that the people of America are intelligent and are able to decern between party-speak and genuine thought provoking addresses. We can handle it, but can your running mate?

R.M.   September 10th, 2008 11:45 am ET

These are a bunch of shameless creatures who will say and do anything to win an election.

Dean   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

McCain is still hiding behind Palin's skirts. Talk issues McCain. Or is this the 'change' you've suddenly started talking about?

joey from NC   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Eh, who cares? Obama is going to be our president.

Delilah   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Steve.

They own the media in case you haven't realized that in 8 years. We are only told what they want us to know. Don't kid yourself, i learned during the convention the only vets that did any talking that was televised was during the REP convention. I had to tune in to C-span to realize that there were a few vets that talked at the Dem's convention but that u didn't see on prime time news. This country is in bigger trouble then anyone realizes.

Doug R.   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

McCain has no vision, no plans, no new ideas for this country. Why is pitbull Palin doing all the talking while the old man is to her side pointing at people?? These people are a joke. They are disgraceful. They are liars!!

Brian   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Seriously how many times can you run through the exact same speech? Somebody wake me when Palin actually decides to talk to the media and answers some real questions…

S-Man   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Say the same thing you prepared for the convention. People are getting bored of McCain and Palin speech. McCain do you dare to let Palin have a press meet over her controversies?

Ms. GA   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

This is really sad. The Republicans have proven to be great at winning elections by lying. Why can't people see McCain for who he really is? He cares nothing about this country. If he really cared he would have picked someone who could help with the economy. All he cares about is winning in November and he only picked Palin so he could win over women. This is a slap in the face to all women. McCain thinks so little of women to the point where he thinks women will vote for him because his running mate is a woman instead of voting on the issues. People please open your eyes and ears. Are you satisfied with where this country is? Do you want to continue heading down hill like we've done for the last 8 years? This economy is in bad shape. Look at were we rank in education. Where are our jobs? Why can’t everyone in the great United States of America have healthcare?

Lisa from VA   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

I was at Obama's rally yesterday in VA. Sarah Palin- he did not call you a pig. But obviously the republicans automatically think if someone says the word pig they must be referring to you…sounds like they are the ones who think you're the pig….rather telling don't ya think??

Shirt Family   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Does Palin have another speech she can give, I feel like the movie "ground hog day” in which we keep re-living the same old speech over and over again, day after day. It is actually getting pretty corny. It’s like a joke being repeated too many times by someone drunk at a party, get tends to get obnoxious. My three year old daughter who has watched this with me knows all her punch lines and repeats them just like a nursery rhyme.

Speaking of movies I also feel like the movie men in black. The scene where they erase your mind. Is this team trying to make you forget about the last 8 years in which they were in charge? Hum makes you wonder why! We are in this shape thanks to their leadership and they want us to give them 4 or 8 more years of the same?

Peter   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

SAME EXACT SPEECH!!! Will someone please change Sarah Palin's
micro-chip.

Cathy in MD   September 10th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Senator Biden will have no problem slam-dunking Palin on the issues. As a self-described pit bull with lipstick, Palin will try with all her moose-hunting, hockey-pucking, PTA-finger-pointing might to bite Biden in the shins and tempt him to lower himself down into that dark place where she spins her web, BUT … he is wiser and quicker and more experienced and more honorable than Palin could EVER hope to be. So, Palin will look foolish and ill-equipped … and she will fail miserably and fade away.

Michael   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

It is nothing but the same recycled garbage from Palin's mouth everytime – simplistic, distorted, and typical Republican nonsense. Why is this freak hiding from the press? It is a shame what American political culture has come to. Obama/Biden 2008

Jeff Ball   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

Senator McCain should be considering what he will be doing in his remaining years; since he won't be President. He said this morning that "change is coming" "change is coming." If that were true then he would have already implemented change. America is tired of being told what is to come and we're ready to "see" change NOW.

McWhine   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

McWhine can't tell a pitbull from a pig. I guess because both have lipstick on.

william   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

I think it is shameful that Gov. Palin has to get prep before she can feel skillful before she talk to anyone in the media!

AMERICANS ARE OUTRAGED BY THIS FRAUD - PALIN PUPPET   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

SARAH PALIN WILL NEVER BE HILLARY CLINTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Palin is a wimp. Being use as a TOOL by JOHN McSAME & Republican bigots to fend off attacks from the Democrats crying "sexism, sexism" everytime she is attacked. What a shame!!

I as a woman am appalled by this disgraceful tactic and all women should be ashamed of this as well.

Teb   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

I cannot believe that after 5 1/2 years as a POW, that McCain was not somehow brainwashed, however subtle. He may not even know, as his memories may be suppressed. I think that he is a sleeper planted in the American political machine with the hope that someday he might rise to some position of power. How else can you explain his lack of memory, flubbing of important issues and constantly changing positions?

matt   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

Palin is not running for President. The Republicans have kept them joined at the hip replacement. John McCain is running for president and he has said nothing about anything. Now he is just copying what Obama is saying. John McCain is not change. You do not vote with GWB 90% of the time and call yourself a maverick. You do not say you are going to change things and then let the republican fear/war mongers turn you into their puppet. If John McCain is for change start being yourself again.

Palinocchio   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

When Palinocchio goes her own way, the only audience McCain will have are crickets! Same boring stump speech!

california   September 10th, 2008 11:43 am ET

Listening to Sarah Palin and John Mccain this morning I can only say
they need someone to write her a new speech how many times
will she address the airplane she put on Ebay? we get it, and enough
on the bridge to no where, what about addressing the issues we
all want to hear about. Im listening but only hearing the same old
worn out speeches.

John   September 10th, 2008 11:42 am ET

mccain and palin are the biggest joke in the history of american elections, I have never seen such liars and distortions of truth since thelast rovian election by dubya and lord chenader. The GOP are scared because they know the real change is coming and soon they know they are going to be out of power. Yes we the people have made up our minds we are sitting back and waiting until 11/4, then you will see like the primaries the largest number of democrats in history come out and rip power away from the GOP and give it to Obama and Biden, where the power belongs with us. Where we can help the people. Get out your check books GOP ers its payback time. The middle clas is rising up and demanding that we the people are heard. Obama/ Biden, and Clinton will be there and alot of other brilliant democrats this is our time lets take back our country…

Anonymous   September 10th, 2008 11:42 am ET

go home palin

Now he wants Change!!!   September 10th, 2008 11:42 am ET

You would think as many times him and Palin has read that same Bush speech over and over and over again they would have it memorized by now…. And he keeps pulling out that permenent marker talking about he will use this Pen to Veto all earmarks. How is it that a candidate is divided from his own running mate? Everything he wants to now "Change" is right there on Stage with him.

C!   September 10th, 2008 11:42 am ET

The title of this should be.. Happening Now: Senial Mr. Magoo and Pig in Lipstick attached at hip

Put on your big girl pants Palin and learn how to speak on your own (don't repeat what was said everyday this past week or what someone else writes down for you ooooor with McCain holding your hand) This dog may potentially be VP? YEAAAAH RIGHT!

Is Sarah Palin EVER going to answer a question from her press on her own? And not someone handpicked by the Republicans?
This ship is about to lose all of it's steam. Attacking can only get you so far. McCain seems to boast an awful lot about change but I haven't heard one new idea from him whereas Obama seems to have about 40 or so…

Spencer from VA   September 10th, 2008 11:42 am ET

Virginia is a democratic state now McSame. We don't want you here. Take your chihuaha to small town America somewhere. We've got Gov. Kaine and former Gov. Warner soon to be U.S. Senator Warner here in the commonwealth. Since Palin likes to bring up her 80% approval rating all the time, I thought she should know that Gov. Warner had a 70% approval rating and didn't even serve his whole term and governed a real STATE with real ISSUES. We do not need repuclican idiocy being spoken in VA.

VIRGINIA WILL WIN THEIS ELECTION & YOU CAN COUNT ON THAT!!!

Sarah father gave her good advice about not pleasing everyone. No matter what these media pundits say, listen to the McCain camp, they are leading, and they know what needs to be done. Change women can believe in will come through the Republicans, watch out for traps, wolves, and never take the bait, when you decide to talk to the media.

Will it be the exact same speech…again? Or will Gov. Palin edit it slightly so it doesn't sound like she thinks Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac were publicly held instead of privately owned? Which one of the two is the political whizkid? Her? Or the old guy who knows nothing about economics??? HMMMM>>>>

KW, Vail AZ   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

I wanted to hear the speeches at this rally, but I've heard the same tired speeches from McCain and Palin so many times that I can give it myself, word for word.

Matt   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

When are they going to let this supposed "pitbull" off her leash and stop coddling her? Where's the strong independent woman she claims to be? She's attached to McCain like they share an umbilical cord and all she does is repeat the same substanceless dribble she parroted in her speech at the RNC.

I can't wait for the debates. These two goobers are going to get what's coming to them.

william   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Why John Mccain isn't wearing his Flag Pin today?

janine lehman   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Why not just rerun the convention? The only thing Palin has changed in her speech are her outfits and location. Does she have nothing else to say? Who is running for president for the republicans?

Ted   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

One thing is for sure, Ms. AhPaulin can read her note cards furnished by Karl Rove.. She does not appear to be a deep thinker nor original thinker, more like a iRobot.

RDS   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Daily counter on how many times Palin will say "I told Congress thanks but no thanks", "I put it on Ebay"…..for somebody that is ready on day one she sure looks unprepared to me. I don't remember Biden, Obama, Clinton, Romney, or Huckabee needing cliff notes in order to appear before the American people.

WhoIsPalin?   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Wonder what LIES will be coming out of the Pitt bull's mouth Today??????????

JJ   September 10th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Why does Palin keep giving the same speech? Enough! she has been given this same speech and telling the same lies since she was introduced! GET A NEW SPEECH!

McCain 08.12   September 10th, 2008 11:40 am ET

PALIN IS A PITBULL, CLINTON IS THE PIG. GO HOME PUMAS WE WON WITHOUT YOU. NO MORE KISSING UP TO YOU NOW.

Mickey   September 10th, 2008 11:39 am ET

I am a lifelong Republican, but I am getting awfully tired of hearing noting but the same tired buzz words out of the McCain Palin campaign. Please tell me what you are going to do SPECIFICALLY about education, economy, healthcare…..I know you are going to veto everyting you don't like, every President does. But TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO!!!! So I can vote for you! Same old same old is not going to cut it with those of us who are worried about; how we are going to survive. I am 60 and very worried about where this country is going to be in lieu of the deficet that we Republicans are leaving.

Peekay   September 10th, 2008 11:39 am ET

i don't like to comment– but every where Obama go Mccain is there–whats really going on.

Didine - Maryland   September 10th, 2008 11:38 am ET

Everytime President Obama is schedule to campaign somewhere, it happen that McCain make sure to follow him in the same state. America is so big McCain, please find your own spot. I can not wait to see McCain campaign by himself. He notices that he does not attract a anyone if he is not with Sarah Palin. He drag Sarah all over so, she can speaks for him. What a shame!

redneck for obama   September 10th, 2008 11:38 am ET

another day of lies and pandering. no way mcC! take ur piggy and go home!

Patti   September 10th, 2008 11:38 am ET

How many times are we going to hear that same speech? I watched a few minutes of it and I heard (word for word) her speech from the RNC. Is this an election or a play? If it is a play, she has her lines memorized quite well. If it is an election, maybe she needs to learn some new lines.

Buddy   September 10th, 2008 11:38 am ET

Sara Palin is Nobamas main Target. Comment by bitter white Bible toter and NRA member.

Terri   September 10th, 2008 11:38 am ET

Who is running for President on the Republican ticket? It seems to me that Sarah Palin is. Mccain is always standing alongside while she does all the talking.

miss piggy   September 10th, 2008 11:38 am ET

she's lying through her teeth again … nothing new..

McCain + Palin = Bridge to Nowhere…

Anonymous in CO   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

Why can't Palin campaign by herself? The GOP won't even let her answer any audience questions. How in world is she ready to talk to foreign leaders, especially the ones who don't like us? What are McCain and the GOP hiding? Can Palin only talk off a prewritten and approved script? Everyone knows she’s can deliver a speech but does she actually have some knowledge about the issues facing our great nation?

A, T.   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

Why do they always read on papers what they say at rallies. Are they the real authors of what they say? I like this man but didn't like his last political move!

Len in Washington   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

I'm watching this right now. She's still reading the same speech from the convention. The speech that is wrought with lies and deception. McCain is standing next to her and taking active part in this deception.

This is disgusting. John McCain has abandoned any principles he has fought for in the past and has surrendered to the idea "win at any cost."

Sad to see a man of his history take this route.

Steve   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

When is someone actually going to call Palin on her lies and distortions? Begala was right. Its the media's job to speak TRUTH to power. Do your job! Everytime she lies report it and call it what it is: A LIE. Haven't the American people been lied to enough the past 8 years? Hasn't the media turned a blind eye enough?

brian   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

"Change is coming to Washington!"

Is he just stealing Obama's mwssage now? What a lame-duck candidate. And man is Palin annoying.

Acenario   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

She keeps giving the same speeches, and when she is attacked she calls it sexism, I dont think that Iran, North Korea or Russia will take sexism into consideration

sjp   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

wow palin is still telling the same tired lines she has told for the last 2 weeks. anyone notice they really bragged each other up with that same old BS, but said not 1 word of what they would do to help the economy, health care, education and on, at least obama talks of issues. energy policy also sounds very familiar. guess they really don't have any new ideas. also does palin just seem like a mccain PR in these introductions? mccain says change is coming, well lets hear what your gonna do. must not have figured that out yet. he also might as well start with his staff if he's gonna start naming names.

Jimi NY   September 10th, 2008 11:37 am ET

These two are fools. They are wasting the American people's time with their talking heads.

OBAMA/BIDEN '08 . . . THE LOGICAL CHOICE!!!!!

Kurt in PA   September 10th, 2008 11:36 am ET

McCain / Palin blows!!

Rudy NYC   September 10th, 2008 11:36 am ET

McCain would rather win an election, than tell the truth.

Debby   September 10th, 2008 11:36 am ET

Good rally they are really pushing their energy economics and how they plan to get it done and pay for it. Obama more of the same we will do this will do that but no mention on how he plans to pay for all this other than raising capital gain taxes.

Andrew   September 10th, 2008 11:35 am ET

LIVE COVERAGE ONLINE AND ON TV FROM CNN… no, they're not biased…

Barbara   September 10th, 2008 11:35 am ET

I listen to CNN EVERYDAY!!!!!!! has anyone else noticed that Sara is giving the exact same speech she gave yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that?!!!!! I'm tired of your cynicism. tell me what you're going to do for us when you get to Washington.

Dana   September 10th, 2008 11:35 am ET

Awaiting their next sladerous remark for more smoke and mirrors…Enough is Enough McCain Palin- keep it on message and talk about issues for once- try using some accurate information this go-round!

Obama/Biden 08

WOW   September 10th, 2008 11:34 am ET

Mccain=loser , liar , clueless

Palin=fraud, liar

Obama/Biden 08

Grossly exaggerated   September 10th, 2008 11:34 am ET

Let Mc CAIN talk -he's the one running for President – NOT Palin.

GO Obama!   September 10th, 2008 11:33 am ET

They still have to campaign together?

Is she there to hide from questions or to prop up an old man that was putting people to sleep?

Maverick is a cute way of defining a reckless that you like and think is cool or cute. You can justify mistakes from them because you like them.

M. Winners, Mesa, AZ   September 10th, 2008 11:33 am ET

I'm listing as I write this. Same old same old "fears, smears, mock and lies" rhetoric.
Seems Palin in sputing the old war hero stuff – you know that McCain is the only one to ever "really fight for America". As a Vietnam era vet excuse me while I suppress my gag reflex on that one…

Renee   September 10th, 2008 11:33 am ET

We know the battle ahead will be long, but always remember that no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change.
We have been told we cannot do this by a chorus of cynics who will only grow louder and more dissonant. We’ve been asked to pause for a reality check.
We’ve been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope.
But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope. – Barack Obama

Los   September 10th, 2008 11:32 am ET

Let me guess, Gov. Palin will go first and give a shortened version of her convention speech, then Sen. McCain will talk about earmarks, cutting taxes, and being a POW.

That ain't news.

Maddie, Hartford, Ct.   September 10th, 2008 11:32 am ET

Please, please please!!!!! Say something different! Even Cindy McCain looks bored!

Obama POTUS   September 10th, 2008 11:32 am ET

Notice how they are just repeating the same speech from the RNC. They have nothing new to say, while Obama is addressing the issues that we Americans care most about. I'm tired of hearing about the Vietnam prison and the jet on eBay, aren't you?

McCain = Mr. 90%   September 10th, 2008 11:31 am ET

Anybody that is claiming to be a "former Democrat" now voting for the Republicans can give me a call at 1-800-YEAH-RIGHT!

It is really sad that the Republicans have had to stoop to trying to fool voters by getting on blogs and acting like they are disaffected Democrats. It is sad, just sad.

NOBODY that has ever voted Democrat will vote for McCain/Palin!

Obama/Biden '08!

Barbara Chicago, IL   September 10th, 2008 11:31 am ET

HEY REPUBLICANS, WHERE IS BIN LADEN? HERE COMES SEPTEMBER 11 AGAIN AND STILL NO SIGN OF HIM.

I DONT KNOW HOW YOU CAN CLAIM YOU MADE US SAFER BECAUSE HE'S STILL OUT THERE.

BUSH,MCAIN, CHANEY, PALIN, RICE…….WHERE IS BIN LADEN?????

Baze   September 10th, 2008 11:30 am ET

I love how now the G.O.P. is crying about smear tactics, and sticking to the issues. The pot calling the kettle black, McCain/Palin=fascist hypocrites that want nothing but control of Washington.

ONE NATION

Karen   September 10th, 2008 11:30 am ET

John McCain began this campaign as a war hero and has descended to a slimy, smearing, despicable swift boater. He ought to be ashamed of himself.

Policies matter.   September 10th, 2008 11:29 am ET

Why is John McCain relying on Palin so heavily? This is about Obama and McCain. Choose wisely this fall, and please, do yourself and your country a favor and vote on the ISSUES and POLICIES.
