Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have released a joint statement.

(CNN) – Barack Obama and Bill Clinton’s offices released a joint statement Thursday after the two met in New York.

“President Clinton and Senator Obama had a great conversation in Harlem today. They discussed the campaign briefly, but mostly talked about how the world has changed since September 11, 2001,” it read.

"Sen. Obama praised the work of the Clinton Foundation around the world and President Clinton applauded Sen. Obama's historic campaign which has inspired millions around the country.

"They also spoke about what the next President can do to help make the economy work for all Americans, as it did under President Clinton, and ensure safety and prosperity far beyond the coming the election. President Clinton said he looks forward to campaigning for Senator Obama later this month.”

What did Bill tell Obama to help the economy. Cut the military budget and cut military pay raises so they go form being 15% behind the civilian population to 21% behind the civilian population in pay. In the US Navy I did not benefit from the Clinton Economy Bubble. Also did Bill tell him to let companies such as Enron, WorldCom and others to bilk their employees and stock holders as happened starting in 1996 under Bill!

McSame/Palin take note. Enjoy the interest you have gained, for it will be the highlight of your careers. You both will be able to say that you almost won the election. All of this attention is fun right now because Palin has been kept in seclusion, but as we get closer to Nov. seriousness will take center stage & Obama will be victorious.

Maybe 'ol slick Billy was telling Osama how to get distracted by fat chicks, when the terrorists in the world are plotting acts of terror in the US. Thank you Bill for being totally useless and for not having any morals or values as POTUS.

I think Bill, Hillary and Joe Biden said what they really feel and is the truth ,he is not experienced enough, before Obama got the nomination. Now they are saying what they have to say to keep the democratic party together.

It is not only B.Clinton that we need in this time. We need all Americans with little commonsense and are normal. I am really scared about the prospect of Gov. Palin as V.P. What is she going to say to our adversaries? Talk to them in tounges? It is very, very, scary.

No matter who speaks for him , in my book his back ground is to scarey and shakey and to look at him leading this country with Pelosi and Reid is terrorfing. It is good for him that Hillery and Bill both are so married to the DNC. I wouldn't trust him out of ear shot.
NOOBAMA ON MY BALLOT!!! No matter who is backing him or if he was the only one running.

    CNN,

Look at your Ticker and the headlines involving Obama, McCain and Palin and tell me do you think your coverage of the candidates is reputable, balanced and fair. The stories about Obama are positive and all the stories about McCain and Palin are negative.

arrogant by buttering up the Clintons. Whats wrong with you, bill
and Hillary. I was democrat, but know longer. I see the light
    clearly.

if it weren't for Bill Clinton, America would have collapsed under the incompetence of the reagan (great for regression and ignorance), bush 1 (great for haplessness and ignorance) and dubya (all-time great for incompetence, ignorance and frustration with the Constitution) administrations
