Tragedy can not be the only way we look past these barriers produced by our preceptions and preferences. WE are approaching the economic and civil ruin in this country. We got to take fixing the problems seriously and every voter should be thoroughly insulted by the type of politics that has occurred over the past 2 weeks.

Daily we tune in to get information about canidates and most of the time we get talking heads who can't have a decent dialogue without shouting at each other. I want information– no I demand information about the economy, our partnering with the rest of the world to solve global issues.

Sometimes I think only 3 year old should be allowed to vote, because they have the ability to ask why - then listen for an answer

You do realize that Al Queda is in Iraq right? That's not some Republican propoganda campaign, that is on the ground facts. No one claims that Saddamm Hussein was behind 9/11 but the fact remains that Al Queda is in Iraq now & it doesn't matter if they're there now b/c of the war. What do you want to do just ignore that fact, leave Iraq and let them plan their next attack on us or the innocent people or Iraq? Have you learned anything from 9/11?

Then again...we have undoubtedly the most criminal and ineffective presidential administration in our nation's history, a destroyed economy while being embroiled in a costly illegal unnecessary war.

Because making 9/11 a national holiday would be a disgrace to all those who died on that day. Americans would just use the day to get off work and not think about all those who died. Making it a national holiday would do nothing but dishonor those who died.

Iraq–after Gulf War 1....continued to launch surface to air attacks on our military aircraft on a daily/weekly basis; Hussein then began cozying up to Islamic radical fundamentalists (Al Qaeida..et al) offering them training bases for cash–to sustain the corrupt lifestyle of the dictator during the embargo.

We were right–in removing Hussein from power.
We were right to invade Afghanistan.
We wer right to take the war to the terrorists–instead of waiting for them to attack us and then retaliate.

Do we want to repeat the same mistake again with McCain and Palin?

For me and my family I rather have an Intellectual rational thinker and true with honesty diplomacy with Senators Obama and Biden in the White House!

We need to support Obama in claiming our righteous OUTRAGE of what has happened to America since GOP took control of Congress 12 of last 14 years and what they have done with Bush in the last 6 of 8 years. Let’s all join Obama and tell them ENOUGH! Is ENOUGH! We do not only want our country back we are going to take it back from the jaws of mediocrity and incompetence.
