ANCHORAGE, Alaska (CNN) - A special counsel has asked Alaskan lawmakers to subpoena Gov. Sarah Palin's husband and a dozen aides as part of the investigation into Palin's firing of her public safety commissioner.
Todd Palin has been a "principal critic" of his wife's ex-brother-in-law, State Trooper Mike Wooten, and had "many contacts" with Department of Public Safety officials about his status, said Steve Branchflower, the former prosecutor hired by the state Legislature to investigate the firing.
Sarah Palin, now the Republican nominee for vice president, is battling allegations that she and her advisers pressured then-Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan to fire Wooten - and that Monegan was canned when he refused.
Palin has said she fired Monegan over budget issues and denies any wrongdoing.

The fact that we consider someone like Sarah Palin a credible candidate is baffling (Look at the facts!!!).
That we do not seem disturbed by the possibility of Mrs. Palin becoming President of the United States of America–should anything happen to "President" McCain–flies in the face of logic.

Wright issue was full steam everyone said he explained all that. Twenty years of that kind on nasty talk, hard to believe he would put his two daughters in that type of environment unless he beieves the same and I am not convinced that he doesn't believe what Rev. Wright said.

Finally. Palin said she would cooperate fully and now she is trying her hardest to cover it up and not cooperate. If she was not guilty she wouldn't be hiring a private lawyer trying to delay and threaten the investigators and people in charge of doing the investigation.
She also will not release a mound of emails because she is citing Executive Privelage. The problem with that is Todd Palin was copied on many of those emails and he is a Private Citizen. Therefore, excetutive privelage does not apply and Sarah is trying to hide something.
This is some good stuff ..and it only going to get better the Palin 's don't have a clue. She faked her way through the interview with ABC brief them some more McCain Camp because they are going to need it .
Hopefully, the Palin honeymoon is coming to an end.
She promised to cooperate fully with the investigation and now is trying to sidetrack and stonewall it.

Sorry. Palin not only totes a gun, she's a loaded gun herself. Now that she's being allowed to open her mouth (unprecedented, I believe, holding a candidate AWAY from the media...but that's what you get when someone completely inexperienced steps in, I guess...did "inexperienced" Obama avoid the media?), it looks like she'll give everyone plenty of "legitimate" reasons not to vote for her.

F-E-A-R ... I think that Obama supporters must be in panic mode... Why has every Obama supporter out there all of a sudden have this desire to defend their man... think about it... democrats out there (media, hollywood types, celebrities, talk show hosts, musical artists, etc) all decided at the same time (this past week), that it is their job to attack anyone that doesnt support Obama. It's obvious that Obama can't defend himself (some of you even want Clinton to help- you know that couple you hated 2 months ago). Reality is that 90% of us know who we are voting for already... about 45% each candidate, that only leaves about 10%, the panic is that some of those 10% are already moving to McCain because of Palin and you people can't handle that. The thought of losing an election that you should have won is keeping you guys up at night.
