I don't know who I am more frustrted with, McCain who would rather lose his personal integrity than an election, or the ill-informed chest-thumping American voters who lap up evry last lie that's dished out. If Americans choose McCain they would desrve every last second of his presidency.

It is terrifying to think that McCain and Palin could possibly be leading our country in a few short months. These people can't be trusted to tell us the truth....look at all the lies throughout this campaign....have they no concience at all? Do they REALLY go to church and LISTEN to what is taught there?? I am truely ashamed of them!! I was taught to believe that honesty and integrity were the principals this country were founded on....I still believe this. It's unfortunate that MacCain and his counterpart can't run a more respectable campaign...and they need to stop treating the American people as though they were idiots!!

This is the normal attacks that we have come to get use to from the Republican Attack Machine. Such misleading attacks gives both McCain and Obama a bad name. One, that McCain is simplying lying, and two, that Obama isn't on the side of immigrants. The Democratic Party is clearly the party sympathetic to the concerns of immigrants. We can't say the same for Republicans.

I don't know how other people feel about that but running an ad which contains lies or half truths shouldn't be allowed.
The content of ads should be checked for accuracy of facts before an ad can air. This is basic protection of customers and we're shopping for a president.

I volunteered for McCain in 2000. I had been saying to my friends that although I am for Obama, McCain is a good man.
I was mistaken. This is outrageous and should be labeled as such, not just noted with an afterthought at the end of the article.
Please expose these blatant lies forcefully. There is no way to argue they are not complete falsehoods.

Can someone tell me who is the real John McCain? Is he going to change Washington? Hmmm..... if he really believed this himself he would have made this a big part of his campaign from the beginning and not in the 4th qtr of a Presidential race and only after see how Barack Obama's change message was resonating with the American people.... sunds like a follower to me. How can McCain be an agent of change when he has voted with George Bush more than any other Senator in office, even more than his own Republican peers (those is his own words). How can McCain be an agent of change when uses the same President Bush smear politics of lies and untruths? How can McCain be an agent of change when he said the tone of his campaign and the poison that his camp is directing towards Obama would have been different if Obama would have agreed to do as he asked with having the old school style of debats. What does that say about McCain? I'll tell you, it means it's McCain's way or the high way. Yet he wants us to believe he's an agent of change and that he'll work with both his friends and those that he disagrees with..... he attacking Obama because he didn't want to due the old school style debates is all you need to know to ask who is the real John McCain. McCain says he's a reformer and will take on his own party but yet when it was time to make one of the biggest and most important decisions as a presidential candidtat he didn't have the nads to stand up to the conservative base of the Republican party, so he selected Sara Palin as his VP. Yeah, great way to show your strength McCain. Can someone tell the American people that this election is about real issues and not lies and distortion. We can't spit this country in half, so we need somone to govern all of us and not just the rich.

Mccain is stated to have experience, I wonder whether it is in terms of how many years he has lived or his years in the senate. When it comes to wisdom and judgement you would think he is youbger and unexperienced that Obama and Palin.

Nominating Palin for a runningmate proved did not only prove his poor judgement but that for him McCain comes first before the country, leave alone the empty words.

This does not surprise me, given the Republican tactics to date. The thing that is the most amazing about John McCain's campaign of lies is that he is adopting the unethical advertising techniques of the same sleazy people who helped Bush slander him in 2000. It is the height of hypocrisy to campaign this way. As a moderate, I will note vote for McCain. He has become a tool of the far right "win at any cost" machine. No surprises here - facts have nothing remotely to do with what appears on a McCain cxampaign ad. Obama could say "Republicans have done a great job" and the next McCain commercial would slam him for going negative. It's a conscious Republican strategy to keep the facts from getting out about what a truly lousy job they've done with all the power they've had for 8 years. It's a continuation of down-is-up and 2+2=5 baloney from the GOP. It's utterly comical that they would try to cast themselves as the party of change.

Did McCain attend any of these major Immigration rallies across the nation in 2007 to hear the concerns of Hispanic Americans. Senator Obama has listened closely to the concerns of these hard-working people by being an advocate for making health insurance more affordable for these families, promoting change in public schools by supporting independently -run Charter schools which will provide better education for our children, and supported raising the minimum wage to help these Americans who work 2 or more jobs to help pay their rising food and gas expenses...

Hispanics help fuel the American economy by spending billions of dollars a year. Not granting Amnesty to those who have live and worked here, and have children born here, is one of the most UnAmerican and Unpatriotic things we can do to them...

The MCCain/ Palin/ Rove strategy will not work this time because of "Fact Check" and other organizations that can tell people the truth!
