How laughable – Palin arguing that Clinton keeping people in check on on the sexism issue "doesn't do [women] any good."

Does it do women any good to oppose a woman's right to choose an abortion in cases of rape or incest, like you do Palin? How about acting like some doe-eyed hick on the national stage?

I've always supported Obama, but Hillary Clinton has done far more for women than you could ever do, Palin. You present a serious risk of defeating the idea that a woman can be a competent and effective leader. Your competence level may suffice for a state like Alaska, but there is no way you would be able to lead effectively in the big leagues.

Sarah Palin is really talkin out of her rear end because if Barack Obama had of Picked HIllary she wouldn't be the republican nominee. John Mccain only picked her as political strategy, and to try to sway Hillary supporters, but we all see through Sarah Palin. She dosen't know anything, and her interview with Charles Gibson proved that. For heavean sakes she didn't even know what the Bush Doctrine was, and she thinks she has foreign nation experience because Alaska is close to Russia. Well if that is so I live across the street from Canada so I guess that makes me just as qualified as her when it comes to foreign experience.

NEITHER OBAMA or the DEM PARTY have the "testicular fortitude" for a woman in either one of the nations two highest executive offices. DEM women are "kept in place" with a familiar battle cry that rings out every four years and sometimes in between. This is not the party of Ferraro in the 80's. Women are expected to "carry the water, do the dirty laundry and iron the shirts" for their male counterparts. Don't beleive it. I cannot believe the audacity of Sarah Palin to say, "I think he's regretting not picking her now." Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton that is for sure. They should not even be compared in the same conversation. There are plenty intelligent, well educated, well traveled, experienced, female politicians that could have been chosen for McCain and she is not a good representation of women. The vice presidential candidates have to be looked at as possible presidents and Sarah Palin scares me and I am a woman! The thought of her possibly running this country is terrifying! Has anyone ever asked Hilary if she even wanted the VP spot? No one knows that for sure.

Had Senator Clinton been the nominee, happened the Republican/Rove/McCain lie and smear machine would have tailored their approach to that reality.

if you all are truly sincere, you would admit that if Barack Obama were fully white Caucasian, 85% of you will not be yakking on about McChain or cheering Sarah Palin like empty headed bums!!

Sarah, You should stick to offering advice/opinions about things that are above your pay grade. (i.e. how to shoot a moose or how to shoot a wolf from a helicopter)

Biden was, by far, the best choice for V.P. At least he is intelligent, experienced, honest and requires NO TRAINING (unlike McBush....oops...McCain's VP)

I am not a Hillary fan, but I have to agree she would have been a better pick for a VP slot than you were for the Republicans. Even with all of Hillary's faults (lying about sniper fire, for one thing) and baggage she would have saddled Obama with, you don't hold a candle to her. In other words, sweetie, YOU ARE NO HILLARY CLINTON!!!!

Senator Obama may have not picked Hillary Clinton for VP. But is seems that every time Senator Bidden or senator Obama say something about Palin, they cry foul play or sexism. Not to mention the normal attacks and lies that come from the Republicans, I wish Senator Obama should switch VP’s and have Senator Bidden bow out right as the debate begins and have Senator Hillary come in and accept the VP.

At that point, Palin would have to go woman to woman and the GOP can not cry sexism or foul.

I think she is entirely right. If he had it would not have changed my vote but it probably would have changed the minds of a lot of women and some men. I think Hillary Clinton would have made a good president but Personnally I would have not voted for Obama even though she was on the ticket. He is an eletist who hates white america , a socialist and has too many anti- american friends to suit me. I also did not like the fact that he called anyone along with his surrgoates such as Roland Martin and Bob Beckel and many more white uneducated gun- toting racist who did not vote for him. Which is to say, she's glad Obama didn't pick Hillary because it created the political conditions that led to her selection as McCain's VP. Also, railing against earmarks is not an approach to government, just a cheap rallying cry; notice how she qualified earmark "abuse," federal spending will not substantially decrease in a McCain administration. Instead, you can expect them to torpedo one or two unpopular measures while diverting the money elsewhere, just like what actually happened in the Bridge to Nowhere incident. Joe Biden is a far better candidate, and neither McCain nor Palin know enough about the Constitution to preserve, protect, and defend it.

I'm somewhat turned off by Palin's remark. Why would she think Obama would regret his decision? Because McCain picked a woman, and a woman helped his ticket? Therefore, a candidate who did not pick a woman would regret it? As a woman myself, that notion makes me feel a little bit marginalized-- like Sarah Palin is just a token female for McCain. If that's how Hillary Clinton would have been viewed -- as Obama's token female -- then I'm especially glad she was not chosen (and I did vote for Clinton in the primaries).
