Most every republic you hear from has such ignorant reasons for voting for McCain... "Obama sounds too much like Osama", "he was a war hero" , "Palin is a mom like me"(woop de doo...my kids busdriver is a mom also but that doesn't mean we should vote her in for VP).
I'm floored that it is even proving to be a close race. Well I guess when you consider that half the population doesn't care to even vote it makes sense that more than half of the voting population also doesn't care enough to be informed.

Barack Obama should enjoy his shine now because come January 20, 2009, there will be yet another republican inauguarated into office - John McCain. As much as Obama supporters believe he will be the next President it is not going to happen. B.O. might have the crowds at this time, but it will be the crowds voting against him and Democrats come November 4. Dems can't think for themselves so how are they going to get out and come to the polls anyway. McCain/Palin 08!

Ever since I became Independent, i can see both parties supporters have an ugly side to them. I'm sure some Liberal were so happy about the backruptcy news today because it helps Obama.
I'm so turned off with both parties supporters....get a grip!!
Whatever the outcome is, I'm sure both candidates have good intentions for this country...Stop with the hate & realize that everyone has their own right to vote for wether the issues, race, gender, 1st lady preference, etc...
Electoral Majority wins & life goes on....

American can't afford another inexperienced candidate.....it would only mean another Bush mess.

That is why this Democrat will VOTE NO OBAMA

Experience does matter and sadly Obama is the least experienced of all the 4 candidates on the ticket. Even Gov. Palin has MORE experience.

As they say.....Obama is the least experienced candidate in the history of America.

So this Democrat will be voting in the best interests of American........JOHN McCAIN

mcsame fought his party on immigration and he said global warming does exist. On every other issue he votes with Mcbush. He votes party-line on the economy. A challenge to every Republican out there: Name one economic issue Mcsame has voted against Mcbush or even name a lie that Mcsame has said he would do that is different than Mcbush. Another challenge out there: Any one have a job that is harder than the "hardest job in America" (small town mayor according to Mcsame.) I guarantee my job as a farmer is harder than walking around shaking hands, having lunch, being friendly, schmoozing big shots etc.

When is CNN going to come out with the news that Trig is really Bristol's and that she is pregnant with her 2nd child?

Sarah Palin must have an extreme personality disorder to be telling this many lies and to this level.

Palin really knows her finance. She says she is happy that the government didn't bail out Lehman Brothers and that the tax payer shouldn't have to foot the bill for their insolvency. Well, Lehman Brothers did have a commercial bank subsidiary. My understanding is that deposits up to $100,000 for each account holder are insured by the FDIC. As an independent agency of the federal government, does this mean the money originally came from taxpayers???
Hmmmmmm........

Republicans are all the same. It doesn't matter who runs for president.

They put america in shame with bad politiks the last 8 years and can
not be awardet to lead this country any further.

Wake up americans and get your country back on track with a clean president *Obama 08) who brings fresh and new ideas and restores prosperity and pride.

Mc \Same and Palin have to be defeatet.

There is no other way.

This phrase sums up McCain today 'The former maverick that sold his soul to win a campaign'. Unfortunate.

Senator John McCain is the authentic change agent and the man with the courage to lead! He chose Governor Sarah Palin for VP! She is authentically in touch with mainstream Americans. She can relate to us and actually speak our language! :)

Eat your hearts out you left-wing democrats! Palin is awesome! Obama bought the spin on McCain's top three picks and chose a Washington insider for his VP!

McCain/Palin 08! They will deliver the change/reform Americans can believe in! And, they will do it with authenticity and integrity! :)

OK...Obama draws 75000 in Portland and McSame calls him a "celebrity" without substance. When Palin inflates McSame's audience he claims it is because she is a stateswoman and born leader. Wow,,,must be nice on his planet.....

Why are Obama supporters so juvenile in their comments? Do these people have educations, and are they even old enough to vote? Do they and the Obama camp realize how hurtful is it for them to win over undecided voters with this behavior? It's a real turn-off and I think a lot of Americans are sick and tired of this over the top commentary from media news personalities. Rachel and Keith from MSNBC have got to be the worst I have seen. It pains me to even see their faces while flipping over to Fox News.

JoeCool - Just stop it! You guys could care less when thibngs were said about Hilalry but now you guys have become feminists on chivalry steroids. Gimme a break. SOOOO HYPOCRITICAL! FROM A WOMAN WHO KNOWS THAT YOU GUYS COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE TREATMENT OF WOMEN UNLESS THEY'RE ON YOUR TICKET.

What's really sad is that some of you are so drunk on the kool--aid that you can't even admit to your hypocrisy.

In other words, McCain appeals to the very wealthy. No surprise there - the entire Republican platform revolves around tax cuts for the wealthy.

Americans, please I am begging you for the sake of this country, do not fall into this Palin business. (Miss so um..what's the Bush Doctrine?) VP is not a job to learn on the fly! Our country definitely needs rejuvenated economics, energy policies, education, and government institutions. I hope every Democrat goes out and votes and encourages their peers! To see McCain and Palin leading the polls is extremely horrifying!

When John McCain and Sarah Palin call themselves Mavericks, maybe they should check out the real definition of a Maverick.

Check out the real TV show as it says that:

Mavericks were reluctant heroes
They would rather talk than fight
They would offer a cigar
They would buy a drink
They would play a round of cards
They would not choose gun play as they were rather bad at it.

All of this contradicts the John and Sarah as Maverick platform.

I do not understand the claim to fame.....

Those of you who are still voting for that party you must not have so much money where you havn't felt the affect of this failing economy, gas prices, lost of jobs, fail health care system, lost of home. Keep on living the good life with another four year of Repubican I bet what little money I have left you will feel what the rest of us are feeling. Don't take that gamble!!!!

Surely, even the wealthy will be jumping off the McHoover B.S. Express.
Bill Gates doesn't want to have to scrap over a piece of cardboard or a space under a bridge.

A vote for McCain/Palin is like playing Russian Roulette with only one empty chamber.

So Republicans can go completely insane spewing sexist venom at Hillary for 16 years but any criticism of the Helicopter Moose Hunter is off limits?

Yeah right - it couldn't be we are criticizing someone who is obviously unqualified to be VP let alone P when/ir Senator McCain's age catches up with us?

Reality is noone cares to see John, he's old and old news.

Gee, that's interesting. McCain's crowds "dwindling" to several thousand is newsworthy, yet Obama's recent crowds in the hundreds were buried deep in the stories. Funny how that works.

If he would stop changing his story every 15 minutes when he gets called on a lie, maybe people would want to hear him. I think he's done himself in, and the polls will soon make them true underdogs. Palin is a bigger liar than he is "I will fully cooperate with the trooper investigation. I have nothing to hide." "Oops, Governor Palin will NOT be cooperating with any investigations." Something to hide, dear? And don't blame this on the Democrats-this investigation was underway before we ever heard your name! These two almost make Bush look honest. (ALMOST)

To all:

McCain and Palin represent the only solution for this country.

It does'nt matter what polls from liberal states say-McCain is in VERY GOOD shape to win all the electoral votes Bush won in 2004.

Close race in Pennsylvania+Minnesota=McCain/Palin '08

Get a life, you lousy liberals.

He couldn't fill half the seats in a 15,000 seat arena in a "red" state. Hear that, John McSame? That's the sound of your convention bubble deflating as more and more people see how uninspiring you are in person. Well, those who actually show up anyway.

McCain needs all the money he can get to pay for the phoney ballots sent to democrats. Come on CNN get some backbone. Do some investigations. Or do you want to be complicit? Are you journalists or mere entertainers?

Enough said...all the hooplaah is about Palin and once the focus is brought back to the actual issues, McCain draws smaller and smaller crowds...fewer and fewer votes.

I would like to see more respect from the Obama's supporters. It's hard to believe that they are the cheerleaders of change and hope, and by just reading these comments it certainly does not represent that. I believe supporters from both sides of the aisle need to show respect for the other candidate!

I just saw the Racheal Maddow Show on msnbc and she said the McCain campaign not once but twice greatly exagerrated the actual crowd size this past weekend. One venue they said had 10,000 when in fact it was about 3500, and another event they claimed 28,000 when in fact it was 8000 ( the latter was when Palin was with him). And the lying continues.......
