I like how all the Obamaramas have missed the important piece of the very concise article above.
Obama cannot come out strongly against republicans on the economy because Fannie and Freddie both had prominent Dems at the helm. He had to get cozy with the Washington Dems to get the nomination and can't turn back now. The absolute opposite of his early appeal. He folded like a lawn chair, and I feel bad for him.

1. Economic downturn : this uncertainity brings them votes by claiming they know how to uplift market.

2. More bankruptcy : Obama knows how to solve this problem.

3. More job loss data from market : so Obama can encash on the news by asking for Votes.

Clearly, Obama is not wishing good for Americans.

This public finance that Barack Obama has flip floped on was very disingenuous of him. One way of keeping private influence and lobbyist out of the white house is to accept public financing. It makes Barack Obama's policy of change uncredible and it shows that McCain has leadership on this issue.

Someone has yet to explain to me when Hollywood stars became non-citizens. They have as much right as the rest of us to voice their political opinions. I didn't see the Republicans having a problem with Ted Nugent, Chuck Norris, et. al,, supporting the GOP candidates. I would argue that despite their money and lush surroundings, many Hollywood types have more connections to us "regular folk" than McCain, his wife and their cronies because they either grew up poor or have relatives who are suffering the same problems as the rest of the country is. Stick to the issues. Obama in '08!!!
