These two losing candidates are WITHIN THE MARGIN OF ERROR people. The polls only are saying that the American public is UNDECIDED.

Most people I talk to hate both choices and will either write in a candidate or will vote for a third party...

'nuf said? Neither candidate is offering solutions BEFORE the meltdowns. Oh, NOW they want to talk economy, bailouts and finance AFTER the most recent bailout. They don't want to explain how taking more of our tax money and giving it to these big corporations is really going to help us. Rather, they both are advocating programs to increase debt and ultimately our taxes!!!

I am not sure where these polls are being taken and by whom and to whom, but I am sure that they are not polling young people and cell phone users cannot be polled unless permission is given because it is illegal.

Most persons under the age of 35 do not have land lines. The majority of persons 35 and under that will vote and please vote will be for Senator Obama.

I have come to the conclusion that this election, at least economically, is all about who the American people trust. Do we trust the private sector, or government, to fix our problems? With the recent market woes, people are wary of trusting Wall Street – too much greed. But we would rather trust our future to politicians in government? Heck, they've put us 9 trillion in debt and given us a 415 billion a year deficit. Do you realize that is $30,000 in debt for every man, woman, and child in America? And getting worse at the rate of $1000/year per man, woman, and child in America? Reign in big business, stop forcing them to give loans to people who can't pay it back, and cut spending. Let us be in control of our money instead of business or government.

The reason Bush won in 2000 (in spite of Bill Clinton's popularity and 8 years of economic growth) is because Al Gore–a very strong candidate–ran a very weak campaign.

The reason a republican might win in 2008 (in spite of George W Bush's unpopularity and 8 years of economic uncertainty) is because Barack Obama–who ran a very strong campaign to win the nomination–is a very weak presidential candidate. This should be a slam-dunk election for the democrats.

Do any swing state voters that went for Bush regret it now that his two terms have left us with this economy, war, debt , etc.? Compare where we are now with how those Iraq billions would have been spent, on green fuel, health care, jobs, shoring up social security, had the Dems won. The last Dem President left us with a surplus. The Republicans are leaving us the biggest debt ever, our standing in the world at a low, and an economy in shambles. TIts too risky to stick with these Republicans. The wealthiest 1% have done well, especially those that benefitted from the wars and deregulation, while the average American family is scared of what might happen next. Republicans are good at promising reform, that was Bush's promise, but did he deliver? Still, unless the swing state voters go Democratic, we will be further in the ditch we are in. I pray they take the time to think about how serious things are. I personally like McCain. He is a good guy.. But his beliefs and policies will take us into additional wars and we cannot afford it from a humanity or a fiscal point

I was just about to mention about the flag pin. Notice also that he's fidgeting with his wedding ring. He also wasn't wearing a flag pin during his acceptance speech at the convention.
