WASHINGTON (CNN) - Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee, will endorse John McCain for president on Wednesday, her spokesman tells CNN.
The announcement will take place at a news conference on Capitol Hill, just blocks away from the DNC headquarters. Forester will “campaign and help him through the election,” the spokesman said of her plans to help the Republican presidential nominee.
Forester was a major donor for Clinton earning her the title as a Hillraiser for helping to raise at least $100,000 for the New York Democratic senator’s failed presidential bid.
In an interview with CNN this summer, Forester did not hide her distaste for eventual Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
“This is a hard decision for me personally because frankly I don't like him,” she said of Obama in an interview with CNN’s Joe Johns. “I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.”
Forester is the CEO of EL Rothschild, a holding company with businesses around the world. She is married to international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild. Forester is a member of the DNC’s Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York.

I would like to ask the american people a question. Would you leave a sick baby at home alone with your 5 five year old daughter or son? I imagine you would say right away that you would never dream of doing such a thing. Then why do you want to put a rookie presidential candidate in the top official office with a sick economy and expect him to know how to deal with such a situation. We cannot afford to take such a chance because the only way for america to go then will down the drain. America might just end up being in a situation like being in a third world country. Also, we cannot take a chance with our national security situtation because he could make things worse for America because of his inexperience.
Come on Americans, wake up and realize that Obama is not ready to deal with our serious situtations right now. Maybe in the next 4 – 8 years be might be redy but not right now. We cannot afford to take a chance to have a rookie in the of PRESIDENT to be trained on the job and then disaster happens. It does not matter if the VP is inexperienced because the man at the helm has the experience to lead us in the right direction. I can see things getter worse for us if Obama is elected and then what do we do. We ill have to wait another 4 years to make a change and that might be too late for America. We will be worse off than we are today so please wake up and realize that we do have serious times here and we cannot play with our lives.

I think people are just throwing out statements saying that Obama is elitist or sexist and not backing it up with facts or evidence. Come on people.
