This is very flawed logic. Even if McCain did the same thing (which he didn't), your argument is that he deserves it? And that makes it okay for Obama to do it? "What about the issues?" -you liberals ALWAYS complain, but cannot bring yourself to stand in any way against Obama. At least people on the right can disagree with each other in a mannered way. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't McCain say that he now opposes his OWN immigration bill? Did Limbaugh or did Limbaugh say the things mentioned in the add? If the Republicans think its okay to dig up the theses of Barack and Michelle Obama from college, its okay to try and link Obama to Ayers, its okay to refer to Michelle as "Obama's baby mama", and call people the most vile, racists things ever, hand out Obama Waffle mix at a convention with a box patterned after Aunt Jemima, then they can't argue against the commercial. At least Obama is telling the TRUTH, something Limbaugh wouldn't know if it came up and bit him on his big, fat, flabby...

McCain changed his positon to appeal to his party's base so that he could continue his candidacy. Plain and simple. If he had stuck to his guns, he wouldn't have this problem. But he put himself before the country! He picked Palin to shore up his base and he kowtowed to the party on immigration and a host of other issues to ensure their support. Who knows how he really feels about anything because he goes with the Republican flow.
