What a foolish comment by Rep. Rangel. He obviously doesn't get that his comment was wrong because it was disrespecful to people with mental and physical disabilities, NOT mainly because it implied Sarah Palin was disabled. To say it again, it is wrong to use a disability as a way to try to insult someone. It's like trying to insult someone by saying, "hah, you're Chinese!", and then later apologizing and saying, "I apologize - I know you're not Chinese." P.S. I am Chinese P.P.S. I don't think this guy's comments should be used against Obama

No surprise there about what Rangel said. Recent reports of illegal practices by Rangel have shown that he is truly an unsavory character anyhow. His comments about Palin are no exception.

As for inexperience across the board.....let's start with Obama....and he has the audacity to be running for president. If McCain wins, at least Palin would have the "apprenticeship" opportunity of a vice-presidency to learn the ropes. Obama would be jumping in with nothing but his birthday suit.

I would go one step further by claiming the whole Republican Party disabled themselves by their actions over the past 8 years.

George Bush II gave 500 billion dollars a year tax break to the rich when he got into office and now is giving them another 1.5 trillion more of the tax payer’s money to try to fix his past mistakes.

I told friends when Bush got elected that he almost bankrupted his fathers three business while his father was president now he is going to bankrupt our country. I hate the idea of being right because the future of civilization may be at stake.

“Those who fail to remember the past are doomed to relive it.” It is the Republicans who historically lead us into a great depression through their “over-exuberance.” The only thing Bush got going for him now is he has some smart people in key post that do remember the great depression such as Paulson, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke who is finally trying to fix the “over-exuberance” of the past, it may be too late.

We have tens of thousands of nuclear bombs now; we didn't have one before the first great depression. What scares me the most is my latest thought, if another great depression happens around the world this time around it could be followed by WW III a war that will finally end all wars and most of the worlds human life forms.

In other words, we could finally cause ourselves to become extinct.
