Palin accuses 'Obama-Biden Democrats' of spreading 'lies'

Palin accused 'Obama-Biden Democrats,' of attacking her family Monday.

Palin accused 'Obama-Biden Democrats,' of attacking her family Monday.

(CNN)— Governor Sarah Palin accused “Obama-Biden Democrats,” of launching a series of unfair attacks against her and her family in a fundraising email sent to supporters Monday.

“Friends, in the course of a few weeks, the Obama-Biden Democrats have launched attack after attack on me, my family and John McCain,” Palin writes in the email. “They’re desperate to win and they’ll no doubt launch these attacks against other reformers on our ticket.”

Watch: Obama says discussion of Sarah Palin's family is 'off-limits'

Earlier this month, the McCain campaign said its $47 million fundraising record for the month of August was due in large part to the addition of the Alaska governor to the ticket. Her presence on the campaign trail has also translated into larger crowds at campaign events throughout the country.

Palin said Obama and Biden have a “large financial advantage,” urging supporters that a contribution of any size will help stop the spread of “lies” and “misinformation” coming from Democrats.

“We must stop them,” Palin writes, “...before they turn these shameful tactics on others we support.”

Earlier this month when Obama was asked about Bristol Palin’s pregnancy, the Illinois senator repeated previous calls that “people’s families are off-limits.”

“This shouldn’t be part of our politics,” Obama said “It has no relevance to show Governor Palin’s performance as a governor or her potential performance as a vice president.”

Oh My Gosh, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little!

    She literally makes me sick.

Obama is extraordinary, Biden is ordinary, McCain is tolerable, Palin is unbearable!

Desperate times call for desperate measures. "Let's lie about them lying and let's mix in a little fear to bring up deflating financial support" Let's see Fear+Lying = Republican Strategy! Perfect, now let's use a slogan like "Let's Roll" to galvanize our base and we should come up 1 point in the polls.

Come on Sarah, the Democrats do not have to make up any lies. Of course, you are not helping things by being sequestered by the McCain puppets.
We all know once the TRUTH about you and your crazy ideas comes out (like charging victims for rape kits, flip flopping on the infamous bridge, implying it was God's plan to invade Iraq, etc. etc.) you and your dud of a running mate will be toast.

You are off bases to accuse Barack or Joe of spreading whatever lies you are talking about. If you want to accuse those on blogs and chat rooms that are against you then do that. However to lay it on the table that the Obama/Biden team are behind this and then request donations to campaign against them is dirty politics in itself.

How about some cheese to go with that lying whine.

I don't hear anything about her family at all–she has hardly answered a single question other than her scripted speech. It's unbelievable!!!

This woman was a perfect match to the fear mongering and dishonorable John McCain. She is just like him and will do or say anything to get into the White House.

What in the world is this person talking about? Obama has never lied about or made any personal derogatory remark against those two "crazies". What do they think will come from this remark? "If they say this long enough, the dumb Americans will believe it?" I see why it took her so long to finish college; not very bright is she? Shame on the both of you, McCain and Palin! Americans are not stupid!!

Good heavens! The National Enquirer keeps digging up uncomfortable 'tidbits' about family Palin, but the Dems don't repeat them, showing considerably more self-restraint than the GOP did/does.
She really should quit the whining: It's so humiliating to women when a female candidate just can't take the heat.

No one talking about her family . She has nothing else to say to the american people. She repeated the same old story in the media over and over again. She kept putting her family out there. A message to Palin we are on the economy know .......

Sarah Palin is "off her rocker". Her and McCain lie on a daily basis then have the nerve to play victim.

Funny, Republicans say that Democrats are vicious, Democrats say the same about the Republicans. That's amazing, politicians lie? Crazy!.....who would have thought it? Even the "holy one" Obama lies, strange that a politician would do that.

All I've heard this campaign is bickering and crying over what the other side is doing. McCain launches ads that distort the truth about Obama, Obama does the same about McCain, the funny part is CNN and other "credible news sources" only address the McCain ads. I am an independant and unlike most people seem to be doing in voting for their ridiculous party, I will be watching these candidates in their debates to determine who I'm going to vote for, and praise the day where a candidate who runs isn't a worthless democrat liar or a repub liar.
