(CNN)– Gov. Sarah Palin will now spend two and a half days near Sedona, Arizona, to prepare for Thursday's debate, instead of prepping in St Louis, as originally planned.
Sarah Palin will be at John McCain's rustic creek side home outside Sedona for what a top aide calls "debate camp."
The aide, who's part of the team prepping Palin, tells CNN they decided to take her to debate camp there because it is an "invigorating and enjoyable place to prepare for Thursday."
"SP [Sarah Palin] loves it and has her kids and Todd coming," wrote the aide in an email.
The aide said "John McCain himself came up with the idea after thinking it would be great before his next debate.
Pailin has already been hunkered down for four days in a Philadelphia hotel for debate prep with advisers.
She will take a short break Monday to attend a rally with McCain in Ohio, before heading to Arizona.

If Sarah Palin "goofed" with her Pakistan comment and seemed to support Obama's position- how then can the Obama supporters call her ignorant or a moron?
Seems like unscripted, Sarah is as good as Obama is after 2 years of carefully crafting his messaged.
Why aren't her kids staying in school?
OK, so let's see..... Palin is once again out of touch with the rest of candidates, sequestered from the press until debate day. She gets to relax in one of McCains 8 homes, this one a nice rustic getaway... She gets to stay away from press, not answer any more questions..... Either from the press or the people.... Can someone say "Damage prevention".
She'll need the practice. Then again, a few days of debate will be nothing compared to Biden's 35 years of experience. Anybody who saw the debates during the Democratic primaries knows that Biden is tough.
He will tear Palin to pieces.
If all she spew is lies and hate, practicing will not help her.
Americans are finally finding out what is REALLY important. They are about to lose their life savings, retirements, and pensions, but at least the abortion issse has been placed on the back burner.

she will need more than a few days to prepare. If she is anything like her interview with Katie Couric, then she is heading for a disaster at the debate. I don't feel sorry for her because she is allowing herself to be used by the McCain camp. She should have enough self-awareness to know that she is not qualified for the vp job.

Will they be able to program her in 2 1/2 days? McCain's "eye candy" is just that! What a joke! She deserve everything she gets after being such a smart mouth at her convention!
Is this one of McCain's 8 houses and does Cindy own it? Because if Cindy owns it without John on the deed that would be a conflict of interest just like John using Cindy's private jet. She is there for presidential campaign preparations so this very well could be a conflict of interest with the campaign ethics rules.
Are they performing a brain operation? Is Dr. Frankenstein in the room with her?

Oh, please! It sounds like Palin is off to girl scouts summer camp. Do they really think they can make her smart in 2 1/2 days? They might be able to make her appear smart, but we now all know the truth. She'll probably come off sounding like McCain, ignorant, lost, and cranky.
