Who CARES if he 'suspends' his campaign.
Have you checked out his plan for HEALTH CARE?
If you can't afford to pay for health care in the first place, is a $5000 tax credit really going to help you?
Plus, if you're lucky enough to have an employer that pays for any part of your HEALTH INSURANCE, KISS IT GOOD BYE.
Have you checked out his TAX CREDITS?
Doubling the per child credit is OK, but what about the tax payers WITH OUT kids and seniors? What's in it for them?

This is such a joke.. he suspends his campaign, runs to washington to help fix the problem. Ok.. that would be noble if that was how it happened. Instead.. while everyone is participating in a serious discussion.. he's just sitting back there with a smirk on his face and not contributing at all. Then at the end.. his imput consisted of him stating that house Republicans needed to be included in the negotiation since they refused to participate initially. Unfortunately.. he was parroting a statement already made by Howard Dean. So.. McCain flies accross the country to sit in a meeting and contribute NOTHING. Thanks McCain for being there.

John McCain's "suspension" of his campaign was a joke. So was the threat not to debate. All he did was make a bad situation worse. What is hardest to believe is that his campaign thinks Americans can't see through this charade.

My take on the debate is that McCain did not look at Obama because one of his handlers told him not to lose his famous temper. You could tell by the look on his face that he came close.

1. McCain did not suspend his campaign. He said he was going to, but he didn't. Ads were run. Talking heads were all over the television. 2. McCain spent all day Saturday "phoning it in" to Washington. It's hard to believe anything he says anymore. He will do something right in front of your face, and then thinks that if he tells you over and over that he didn't do it, that eventually you'll believe him and start questioning yourself. McCain is not the answer to our tough times. With all due respect, his policies and political stunts just aren't what our country needs right now.

Mccain did the old cut and run trying to get out of the debate. Then, he did the old cut and run and hid out all day Saturday after the debate.

I cant believe that liberman or graham can see what McCain is doing considering they have their heads up his rearend all the time. Its like Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCainty, Either Leiberman or Graham are telling Mccain who he is with, where he is, what he is doing. It's like the three stooges, ( sorry stooges for the insult ) McCain did not say anything in the meeting with the president. He was not helpful in any way. He needs to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. Obama can do it, so can my 5 year old cousin. Suspend his campaign, what an idiot. He didn't suspend anything!!! You need to call him on this CNN, especially since you posted a story about it and everyone knows this is a lie. Enough is enough. He kept ads running, he kept surrogates talking, he did an interview with Couric, he spoke at CGI, his website kept seeking donations, he arrived in DC about the same time Obama did and they went to the meeting, WHERE HE SAID NOTHING. His arrival caused Republicans to suddenly balk at the bill. At some point CNN, you need to put aside ad revenues and stick up for what's right. And this is clearly NOT RIGHT.
