Those of you so called veterans hiding behind this screed should be ashamed. If you are infact true warriors, show your self and make and defend your accusations in the light of day, not in some dark recesses making up this crap. McCain has missed many more veteran votes than Obama, and his sorry attempt to deep six the new GI bill was nothing short of disgraceful. Ask the disabled vets coming home from Iraq and Afganistan who would they prefere taking real care of them. I bet you were all a bunch of supply clerks.......................!!

I don't think that want to go there when the last time Mccain ahowed up to vote was April 8th for the 2nd year in a row he holds the worst senate attendence record...
John McCain missed 65% of the votes in the Senate last year while he was pretending to represent the state of Arizona. McCain's pathetic Senate voting record last year was the second worst in the Senate, only Senator Tim Johnson had a worse voting record..and he was recovering from brain surgery.
So far mccain has misses over 100 votes this year

Afghanistan was handled under the Main Committee by agreement. Hearings under the sub-committee would have been redundant. Obama's already explained this numerous times.

There are McCain supporters in the military also. These guys should be proud that Obama voted against a funding bill that did not include a timeline. One thing people must realize is that Obama will not vote for some a bill with a hidden agenda in the form of fine print.

Swift boat politics here we come! Maybe those vets should ask McCain why he didn't support the new GI Bill, or will the McCain campaign spin it to portray the new GI Bill as bad for vets? I thought McCain promised to run a clean campaign...but I guess that went out the window when his poll numbers started to slide. Just another politician we can't trust.

Well....McCain missed a lot more votes than Barack did...plus Grandpa also voted to cut funding in Iraq (when there was a vote for another version of this bill that had a timeline for withdrawal attached to it)........

Also, what's with running a pro-McCain ad in CA......Grandpa won't win CA anyways....can the Repubs afford to throw money away at this stage!

Please. McCain has missed over 60% of the votes in the Senate, more than any other senator.

Obama received a B+ rating from veteran groups, while McCain received a much lower D rating.

Obama was for the GI Bill, and McCain was against it. Next?

Do people know the meaning of "swiftboat" or do they just repeat it over and over because they think it sounds like they know something? I know most people don't really know what is really happening. It is much easier to just repeat the lies of the mainstream media than it is to do some independent research and find out the real truth. There are more lies out there than people will ever know but people will always believe "their" side because they refuse to look to independent sources or to accept anything that goes against their belief system. I guess that explains the same old lies being repeated for 40 years. Too bad the people don't want to wake up from their Stepford ways.

The only sheep I see around here are those who are wanting Obama to win. He is the biggest liar and most self-centered cretin to show his face in years. He doesn't give a rat's tail about the soldiers. He wouldn't even talk to them or spend time with them (except for a few photo ops with some black soldiers in Germany) when he was on his tour abroad.
