No Hillary = No Obama October 2nd, 2008 8:26 pm ET

So, let me say this again. I have changed my party affiliation from Democrat to Independent. Writing-in Hillary Clinton will not count because she did not declare her candidacy. So, I am voting for McCain - if for nothing else, then he suffered for this country. Obama has not. End of discussion.

You are petty and clueless. Hillary will survive regardless of who gets in the office. If you were voting for Hillary based on the issues, then stand up and vote for the right candidate....Obama. To vote for McCain based on your emotional feelings is not only STUPID but dangerous. You and the rest of America will suffer based on your haphazard decision making. Voting for McCain is a waste of a vote.

All due respect: look inside the numbers of the polls nationally and by state. Look at the demographic segmentation close. That will tell you where the race is ... If you rely and place your bets on published results, you might be sorely disappointed.

Though Obama is leading in this state, I still believe he has quite a bit of work to do in order to win this state. Virgina is a very stong Republican state.

Despite evey awful thing that Bush has done he still has the suppport of 28%. Say wht you want about that grup but know this;
they will vote and for McSame. Now 28% might not sound like much but beacase it is certain they will vote the only way to overcome them is with a voter turnout of 60%. At 50% their 28% is more than enough. At 60% Obama squeaks by, At 70% we get the landslide that we and those Bushies so richly deserve. So get out and vote you Obama supporters....high turnout is the only way to save the Nation

At this stage in the campaign, I say it's now time to stop the personal attacks and concentratet who is really the best person(s) to get us out of this mess. I thought George Bush was the worst pick in 2000 and 2004. I was right each time. Now, we're all in for a terrible near future, and we'd better look, read, listen and pray that we are able to elect the team who more realistically can handle this make or break crisis Bush has left us. And believe me, this financial situation is not the worst thing that can happen to us. We're a capital nation and can fight our way back on this.

What we must consider give more attention to the terrorist threat, which still ranks close to number one, and they're sitting right there waiting for us to make a wrong move that would weaken us as a nation and as a people. Russia has moved into Venezuela and is helping Chavez get the bomb. Also, they're beating us to the offshore drilling richest places. Iran and Korea are not sitting on their hands either. They will know the right time to strike, so we'd better get serious, unite, and quit this awful name-calling habit that just seems to get worse. Whichever candidates will deliver our great nation from these forces of evil are the ones we'd better determine. Looks like those of us who are undecided might be the ones who'll call the final shot, no matter where we live.

Virginia? You know you're bringing real change when Virginia goes blue!

Fred Thompson this morning had a slip-up saying Palin is not from Washington and will shake things up, unlike McCain who has been around for years.

So her inexperience is OK and Barack's isn't? Something is seriously wrong when the Republicans are flip-flopping to cover for this joke of a running mate.

If you are voting for McCain, you are not paying attention.

All the prep work is irrelevant. She won't remember her position in two weeks. Whether or not she performs well in the debates is basically irrelevant cause she has no knowledge about the outside world.
Obama has shown that he is STEADY and SURE. I bet any day on him making the right decision in contrast to these ignorant, rash, emotional losers on the GOP ticket.
It''s clear how they would abuse their power. That guy, her ex-brother-in-law Wooten would be homeless under a Palin administration. Talk about victimization.

I have never voted for a Democratic for President in all my life, but will do so for the first time. If someone told me twenty years ago that I would be voting for a Black Democrat born in Hawaii and grew up in Indonesia among other places, I would never have believed it. It is time to truly put country ahead of party!

Folks are beginning to see through the lies of the current Republican strategy. It's simple. Working people want a change. They see a young man with a vision and charisma. He has never stooped to the level of McCain. He has held is head high and not shown weakness in his character at any point since his nominated him.

People see through McCain's claims of change. There's no change when your political ads are as low ball as Bush's were in 2000 and 2004. Obama has never stooped that low. Obama is bringing change even in his campaign. Obama will be president.

Lame Mccain has an excuse for everything, he actually believe he did something on the economy. well he did ... he voted and big deal. He acted like he was an arm twister. Please all... remember this... Mccain went to Washington, Obama Was REQUESTED to help by the President. Neither of them were needed but its amazing when the President needs Obama to get things done and he delivered and Mccain didn't Obama got 2/3 of dems to 1/3 repubs on the PRESIDENTS plan. Now Mccain wants to cry fowl. Mccain's just a gimmick, one after another and has no respect for anybody but himself. My father is retirng soon and In this economy I worry for him. Mccain says nothing to protect his retirement. Foreing policy won't save it. Health care reform won't either though we need it. He has decent health care. More deregulation sure won't help. So Mccain has said squat!!! Obama will shore up social security, close Tax loopholes ( one reason were in this mess), end the war = more money home, seniors making less than 50k pay no taxes. thses are some of the thing my father needs and thats why me and My father will vote Obama. He has real solutions and vision for us all.

BROOKLYN:
The better question is: If McCain does not make it through 4 years in the White House (which is a good possibility), do you 100% trust Gov. Palin to run the United States with no real experience or knowledge about literally anything, it seems?

As a Democrat I have to go with the republicans this time this is real sad considering that I worked on Gores campaign in 2000 here in Florida. It is not that I like McCain but I don't care for Obama as a leader.

Why is obama not up 20 points? All the cards are in the Dem favor.

It is because most Americans have reservations about voting for the left wing radical with connections to the weather underground and William Ayres.

Come on Virginia. Think of how the republican party tanked this
country after 8 years. It should not be hard to vote the republicans out.
McCain is a Republican who chose a very dangerous woman to
be possible president. The Republicans fooled us once. We
should have the guts to say never again.

The voters of Virginia need to realize that Obama is the better candidaie of choice. How many people are sich who cannot afford health care, millions, with Obama in office, that will change for the better. Come on America, do not make the same mistake you did in 04, I trust in you to make the right choice and to elect someone based on their pan as opposed to their color of skin.

If historically conservative Virginia is a toss up, then McCain needs to start writing his concession speech. If McCain can't win Virginia, then North Carolina and Tennessee are probably up for grabs as well.

McCain will soon be fighting to keep Idaho and West Virginia red. He is going to win a few states but he is going the way of the dogs unless he can come up with something major. He is a liar, supports pork spending and is bad on the economy. He lacks innovation and it is going to show. Palin is not going to be able to save the day. Obama's ground game is going to take NC, IN, CO, NM, VA, FL, and maybe Ohio. bye bye McCain and please retire.

Is Obama ready to Govern our Nation?

Only if we are all ready for four years of speeches diverting us from all of the mistakes.

Without any federal money to spend on his ambitious social agenda, Obama is just happy talk with little substance. Despite the rise of Northern Virginia as the dominant political and economic force in the Old Dominion, he is likely to lose it and the Electoral College.

I hope the "undecideds" take a close look at Palin, and I don't mean her dolled-up exterior. She should scare them into a rational decision.

I'm a obama voter, but I think that Sarah Palin is a lot smarter than she is being portrayed. She is a great debater. I have watched her debates. She is strong. She is agressive. She wont back down. And when she does all this tomorrow she will be seen as this great quick study that transformed overnight into this firery debater that defended her candidate in a strong intelligent way. Don't be fooled by this acting she is doing in these interviews.Remember, I told you so.
