Schneider: Biden in awkward position

ST LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) – He's in an awkward position...Biden voted for the use of force in Iraq, Obama came out against it from the beginning.

Watch: 'We will end this war,' Biden says

It's a problem that he shares with Hillary Clinton.

Biden said he regretted his vote. Hillary did not. Second, he wants to end the war while McCain does not. this is important.

But the difference with Biden and to McCain is that Biden later realized the truth about the war and spoke out against it.

Biden is wiping the floor with her on foreign policy. She sounds like she is spouting off memorized talking points. Biden sounds like he's been there and knows what the heck is going on.

And what's up with her almost chastising Biden? She reminds me of Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter! She's annoying as all get out!

I would rather have someone like Joe Biden who honestly disagrees with his running mate than someone who "doggone it" will always agree with John McCain.
I've heard you, Bill, disagree with your coworkers and you're still there.

After tonight thier should be clear that Gov. Palin is the better person for the Job of VP. Biden is lost for words and just like Obama when he can't come up with a statement he make's something up!!

    Excellent Job Gov. Palin!!!!!

Roland Martin won't show any counterpoints to his far-left views. CNN When you going to get rid of him?

Only one difference, Biden isn't running for President. McCain was wrong for the 1st 5 years, lets call it bad judgment. Good try Bill.

Considering how Bush lied to Congress about the reasons we were going to war I am not surprised that Biden voted for the war..as long as he NOW realizes that was a mistake and has since shown that he is for getting out there I don't see the big deal about him and Barack having a difference of opinion back then...

Folks can grow and learn the facts and change their minds...I don't want my VP to be a "follower" of the President 100% of the time....

    GO BIDEN!!!!!!!!

I can"t stand to listen to Biden talk. He as changed his postition to suite Obama. Just 9 months ago he was bashing Obama on all theses things now he is agreeing with him. Palin is doing great!

She has to step down. Is she really so "folksy" or just trying to treat Americans like they are all "JoesixPack"??

    What a joke
