Schneider: Palin giving answers or slogans?

ST LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) - Palin's answers often come across as slogans that appear to lack specificity and seem to be more campaign speeches than answers to questions.

She's giving slogan and other BS–not really engaged in this debate. She's just throwing out pre-determined barbs and arguments. She keeps looking at notes and at times even looks nervous.

Biden comes across as MATURE, KNOWLEDGEABLE–when he makes a point, it's made strongly and seriously.

She comes across as someone in over her head. Her whiney voice, cute little squints and voice inflections just aren't very convincing or comforting–she does not instill confidence. I accuse her of sexism–using her cutisms to try and advance herself.

Like in the case of Dubya, no one has taught her how to pronounce 'nuclear'? I never knew this word was so hard to prononce till I heard Dubya and Palin.

Gov. Palin hasn't answered one question with any substance. She's all over the place. For anyone who believes she is "doing fine" I'm concerned. She definitely isn't debating, she's redundant and her responses sound very much like a campaign pitch. It is very upsetting to watch this. The state of our economy is too critical for her ignorant "slogans" and references to 6-pack Joe and hockey moms. We need real ANSWERS! This is serious business, our jobs, homes, economy is at stake.

I pray that this nation make the right choice on Tuesday, November 4th. Vote based on facts not on ignorance.

Sounds like her debate camp consisted of continuous watching of those horrible campaign videos that have been running. But I am sure that this will be spun to their benefit.

Great a VP with a lot of book sense and no common sense...

    She is a mini McCain....

I think SP is not ready. She is just reciting talking points. She has no understanding of the issues.

Palin looks great if you don't listen to what she's saying. She is a walking GENERALITY. Only general answers and side stepping questions that Ifill asks. I'm disappointed that Ifill isn't insisting that she answers. Joe Biden ate her lunch on Israel/Afganistan

Gov. Palin, you're just talking crazy! Talking the obvious slogans, not the answer, is the winning key for you, right Gov. Palin?

She is awful. She is frightening. I cannot believe she is even standing on this stage right now. The remote possibility that she could be our next VP is absolutely terrifying. She is COMPLETELY out of her league. As a neutral voter a month ago, I am 100% Obama/Biden now.

I think she is doing better than what everyone had thought and none of you can admit it! Joe is not answering questions either and the mediator even said so

It sounds like McCain has her as his running mate so that she can be his personal cheerleader

Palin is a liar, and she does not believe in women's rights. I am a former Clinton supporter, and I can't believe that the Repubs are so naive to think that we would support Palin. Drill, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Palin just remembered some points about Afghanistan from her "cram session" yesterday and blurted it out while talking about Nuclear arms control

Palin is being herself and giving real answers. Biden is using talking points to avoid a gaffe and not saying anything but campaign slogans.
