All I'm going to say is Sarah Palin doesn't not her behind from a hole in the ground without being coached. Even in this article she is still repeating her talking points. And you can bet she will not be doing anymore interviews for any reason.

Our country is in the situation it is in because we choose to believe the rhetoric like Palin exbounds consistently – GW had a similar style, threw out the one-liners, smiled acted like – "aw shucks, I'm just a concerned, christian guy". Whatever. And now, the country is broke, we are in a war (from lies and misrepresentation), that we can't afford and the world thinks the US is pityful.

Let us keep putting our heads in the sand.

I still say that the Fed should instead have loaned those homeowners the money themselves at a low say (3%) rate (like they give the banks) for an extended time.
They would still make a ton of money over 30 years. And the economy would have been stimulated again! The taxpayers would have been spared and our country would have saved a bunch of cash.
I'll bet the CEO's we bail out today will file for Chapter 11in 2 years and they will get record bonuses to boot!

I completely agree. I have tried my hand at voting for the third party. It was in an election that was so close, it had to be recounted in some states. I feel that my vote was lost in that election. So, unless I can find a large group of advocates for my candidate out there somewhere, I will place the safe bet this time around, simply because I think at this point, keeping Obama out is my #1 priority. However, if McCain were leading in the polls I would feel more confident in voting for Barr knowing that the primary party voters were doing their part to keep socialist policies out of our Govt.

I am happy now that Obama will not have any money to spend when and if he becomes President. There ain't none left now.

He will be forced to raise EVERYBODY'S taxes even those who make no money at all to pay for all his programs.

Oh and for those rich folk that make more than $250,000 they will have left the country and taken their businesses with them to places like Ireland, Costa Rica, Bulgaria , etc.....along with all the jobs that Americans use to have.

So he might have a bit of a problem finding anybody to tax........

We need to clean up Washington! If you are fed up with the status-quo then lets revolt, start all over again.

I recommend that we DO NOT elect any incumbants from any party. This will bring lot's of new, unencumbered people to congress. The lobbyest's haven't gotten them in their pockets yet and we will let everyone one know that the American People are going to be watching them and if they don't respond in our best interest they will be gone too.

I don't think they could do us any more harm than what has already been done.

Obam is not a "Socialist", but he does hold too many socialist ideals. His regulatory policy suggestions indicate that he, just like the past few administrations, would like to see more government and less constitutional freedom. Of course, I am voting for Barr. He is the only candidate with a decent grasp of freedom and capitalism. I am neither Republican nor Democrat and I certainly could never consider socialist anything.

America should have been left to suffer the consequences of what it has created – a consumer culture that is consumed by materialistic pursuits, do anything to keep up with the Jones'.
