(CNN) - The McCain-Palin campaign released Sarah and Todd Palin's 2006 and 2007 tax returns Friday afternoon. The campaign says the Palins paid $36,682 in federal taxes for those years, and contributed $8,205 to charity. The campaign also released a financial disclosure report for Todd Palin.

Stop focusing on Palin. She escaped with her dignity last night, of which, though an Obama/Biden supporter, I am glad. She clearly didn't know anything about most of the issues. Even Republicans got that, even if they say otherwise. But, she seems nice enough in a neighborly kind of way, but, clearly out of her league when it comes to vice presidency, and heaven forbid, the presidency. But, she is not a threat. We need to seal this thing by pointing out how McCain has the same policies as Bush, and we know where that got us, all the while getting out and registering people to vote and even doing some campaigning.

This trickling of information from the Palin side is suspicious; I think we learnt more about her children (pregnancy, Down's Syndrome), than the real information that should be out; she should disclose at least the last 10 years of taxes.

Most (if not all) of that "charity" went to her church. When you consider the tax amount paid, even what she gave was not the standard 10% (tithing).
When I consider what I paid in taxes last year, I see that she (they) makes approximately twice as much as my wife and I make combined. So, no, she does not represent me very well.

Here is why...

...CAN NOT explain how they are worth over $2 million, otherwise, they would release at least 10 years.
