Palin hits Obama for 'terrorist' connection

In remarks Saturday, Gov. Palin sought to link Sen. Obama with 1970's radical William Ayers, according to a statement released by the McCain-Palin campaign.
In remarks Saturday, Gov. Palin sought to link Sen. Obama with 1970's radical William Ayers, according to a statement released by the McCain-Palin campaign.

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (CNN) - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday slammed Sen. Barack Obama's political relationship with a former anti-war radical, accusing him of associating "with terrorists who targeted their own country."

Palin's attack delivered on the McCain campaign's announcement that it would step up attacks on the Democratic presidential candidate with just a month left before the November general election.

"We see America as the greatest force for good in this world," Palin said at a fund-raising event in Colorado, adding, "Our opponent though, is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

Palin made similar comments later at a rally in Carson, California.

Obama's Chicago home is in the same neighborhood as Bill Ayers, a founder of the radical Weather Underground that was involved in several bombings in the early 1970s, including the Pentagon and the Capitol, and the two have met several times since Obama's 1995 campaign for an Illinois state senate seat.

I guess we can expect to hear cutie-pie-wink-wink Sarah state soon that Obama is secretly a Muslim. I guess when what your campaign stands for isn't what the people want to hear, you've got to resort to swiftboat insinuations & lies like the big ones she told during her "debate". What an idiot she is!! Sarah's problem is that the listening public aren't also idiots.

Sarah Palin is a staunch racist. She has now proven that she will do or say anything. She does not have small town values...she has racist values. She has a pastor who believes that women are witches. She attends a church that believes that homosexuality can be prayed out. She believes that the vice president does not have enough powers. Her values, her beliefs, and her outlook is frightening. She is a person to be feared.

Is this woman out of her mind? Why does the Republican party think it can lie its way into office. Terriorist? Please Sarah. From what I've heard about you, you have terriorized the people of Alaska in one way or another. I'm guessing your ex-brother-in-law would have some interesting stories. Sarah, go somewhere, sit down and compose yourself.

This all happened when Little Barry Obama was living thousands of miles away in Indonesia and attending primary school and a member of the local boy scout troop.

When you can't win on the facts, you try to win by throwing mud. We'll see on Nov. 4th what really sticks with the voters.

It is this type of politics that we as Americans dont need. Im sick and tired of politcians thinking that I cant see through attempt to deflect the real issues. McCain is a fool if this is his answer to our problems. We all know that both Obama & McCain want whats best for this nation. What we have to decide is which one can do it better. If McCain fails to focus on real issues then he does not deserve my vote. Vote the issues America not campaign rehtoric.

Palin is walking a very fine line here. GOP must address the issues. Remember the Clinton Campaign tried this and failed miserably.

Why did the DNC file a motion to dismiss in the lawsuit that is pending against obama in regards to his birth certificate? He has been ordered to produce it. What are they trying to hide? If he didn't have something to hide, they would just produce the birth certificate, not file a motion to dismiss

The way McCain runs his campaign is the way he will run the country.
Bitter, nasty, misleading–with not a single idea about what to do for america. Reminds me of Bush.

It is so sad with the job losses, the economy in melt down that some will find this type of information worthwhile, she is a sad sad lady to go along with this type of slandar
The same man that defended her families right to privacy.
    She has no shame
The Enquirer is now saying there is proof of her affair, the huffington post is saying her taxes returns raise questions, mccain tax returns are raising questions of gambling.
No one is clean and I hope the Dem rise above this and dont start tossing back, I am not sure who would come out the winner, but the American people will come out the losers

Please post I am so tired of blogging and nothing getting posted

I cannot believe Barrack Obama when he says that will raise our taxes. He is making a lot of campaign promises that is going to cost us the tax payer or is he just buying votes?
Can someone please tell me why Obama has not been fully investigated, on how he required his own home and land at a below market price?
What connections does Obama have with voters’ fraud and Acorn?
Why is he trying to place blame on the Bush last eight years when he himself has had two years to help change it and did nothing?

That is rich coming from Palin, whose husband was a member of the AIP, that favored Alaska's secession from the USA. This woman is subversive, for her own affiliations, as well as her own behavior, her history (book banning) her church, her witch hunting pastor...if we should be scared of anyone, it's Palin as a VP. Those who have no qualifications must attack the truly qualified.
GO HOME PALIN! KEEP ON STRONG, SENATOR OBAMA!!
