John McCain says honor is so important to him yet he continues to condone dishonorable behavior from within his own campaign.

It appears all the McCain-Palin ticket has to offer this country is bitterness and lies. Is he that desperate to win? I honestly thought McCain was a good man and have slowly come to realize that he is either putting up a false face or – like Bush – surrounds himself with some bad folks and does nothing to set high standards for them.

How can we believe this man if he becomes our President? We currently have an administration that is known to lie....why would we want another? Does McCain really have that much contempt for his Fellow Americans to think we can be fooled by this crap?

Although Sen. Obama and the Times have made it perfectly clear that he did not "pal around" with terrorists, McCain and Palin still keep repeating this misleading lie. It insults their own followers' intelligence. Can they just say any ridiculous thing and their followers just accept it as truth? Purposely misleading the public for political gain seems like Me-First-Country-Secound politics. Yet McCain keeps saying that he's gonna bring 'change' to Washington and Wallstreet. Who believes it? He and Palin are so plastic and stereotypical of the same disinginuousness of the past 8 years. For them to have the audacity to use the term 'change' is disturbing.

Republicans continue attacks that have not worked and won't work. Obama's dream for America is too great for it to continue to fail with their stupidity. We are facing a Recession and all they care to do is destroy an individual that wants to bring positive change to our country and the world.

I am a female first time voter at age 44 years, who has seen my country go down the drain because of the Bush Mistakes that we are all now forced to pay for so dearly. We have had 2 great democratic candidates run for President against him (Al Gore and John Kerry) and have been defeated by republicans using these same attacks. No more! Americans are standing up and shouting loud and clear to the republicans this year.

That's why Obama and Biden are inspiring us to rise above our past mistakes and take the higher ground where we belong. We will win this election to bring back our country, to the place where our forefathers intended. These great leaders fought for it to become the greatest nation in the world.

In this election independents, republicans and democrats will fight to defend our country and be viewed again as the great nation that we are.

You wanted change in 2006 so a democratic Congress came to power. Since, gas went from 2.19/gal to over 4.00/gal. Wow. A new low for the McCain Palin campaign. The aide who came up with this attack should be fired. It's disgraceful to think that a Senator and a Governor would go along with such a baseless and dangerous attack is a disgrace to the offices they hold. Particularly Palin's agreement to spout such garbage shows a lack of character unbefiting the offices she holds and seeks. Is this just an attempt to proves that she reads the New York Times? Clearly if she does read it she cannot comprehend that her statement grossly distorts the Times article. Most likely she is parroting what some speech writer told her to say and once again not showing that she can digest and understand the material enough to know that this is just plain wrong.
