NASHVILLE, Tennessee (CNN) – CBS anchor Bob Schieffer stepped out from behind the anchor desk and took the stage Sunday evening at the legendary Grand Ole Opry. Schieffer pulled his cowboy hat off and tossed it aside before belting out two tunes. He shared the stage that night with Trisha Yearwood and Brad Paisley, among others. Schieffer told the audience he was "not going to feel the pressure I feel tonight" when he moderates the third and final presidential debate next week in New York. The CBS anchor was participating in the broadcast to celebrate Belmont University, the host of the second presidential debate on Tuesday. Filed under: Election Express Mark Preston |
