Obama is lying – about Ayers – About Wright – about his tax plan – aout his health care plan – about his Iraq plans. His whole campaign is flawed --On Ayers he said he barely knew him -- Obama endorsed Ayers Book – held political meeting with Ayers- and Ayers was hosted by Michelle Obama and Barck at the college where Michelle worked - He is just flat out lying. He lied to us about Wright. His positions on Iraq change with the wind and he is now following McCain's lead - He cannot follow thoughon his tax and health care plans and is lying to voters as he knows the US cannot afford them.

Obama seems to have quite a bit of questionable baggage. It seems that he's mixed up with a bunch of people with sticky backgrounds yet when the dirt comes out he knows nothing. The Talaban will go to any measure to destroy America. I just don't trust Obama.

Although I have always supported the Democratic nominee, I had a lot of respect for Senator McCain. The operative word here is HAD. I can't believe how much he has changed and I can't help but notice that the change in his attitude coincides with the the arrival of Sarah Palin. I was appalled at the way she speaks about Barack Obama. Not because he is her opponent but because he is fellow American. How dare she come onto the scene, virtually unknown to a great percentage of the American people, and put down others the way she does. She is an insult to hockey moms and pit bulls.

I wish they would both just talk about issues. But that would be a one sided debate – McCain can't talk about issues. All he ever does is attack.

With the debate coming up tonight, I hope Obama turns to McCain and says, "You can attack me all you want but I'll not waste another minute of the American voter. I'm here tonight to tell them exactly how I intend to fix this broken country."

Another example of a desperate Republican campaign going back on his words that he said 8 years ago. McCain doesn't know how to regain ground so he has put out the dirtiest slimiest attacks yet which does not make a person want to vote for them. Its tired, shameful politics and what we need are more ads like Obama talking directly to the people. We do not need to be in Iraq or Afghanistan any longer as it is showing that Osama did indeed hurt America much more than the lives that died on Sept. 11 and hit the financial district in the long run. Bush and McCain would go the same route and seek war rather then worry about the long term effects of wars. We cannot afford the same old, tired, Republican politics.

Changing the topic to personal attacks will not change the outcome, at least that late in the process. Obama's 5-8% lead may or may not be cut a couple points, but not by enough to win for McCain. Additionally, McCain's increasingly negative and desperate attempts at smear might turn off independent voters and actually cause a point or two % gain for Obama.

I think that they both need to stop saying what is wrong with the other, and tell us what is right about themselves and their plan. I do believe that Obama has tried to stay on that path, but McCain continues to "badmouth" him, causing Obama to strike back.

In my opinion, Obama/Biden is the right choice.

I know it's kind of like their last breath, but McCain's campaign needs to really stop these ads. It might be just me, but it really makes him more and more like a whining 3 year old each time when they don't get their way. I know Obama's released negative ads in rebuttal, but at least he's taking more time on the issues. Almost half expecting McCain to call him a "poopy head" next.

The problem with Mccain/palin is that they attack but FACTCHECK.COM and other reliable sources always dispute their claims. If you are going to bring allegations, you better make sure the allegations can be proven. People will believe what they want to believe regardless if it truthfull or false. They call each other liars. The difference? Obama continues to run a generally honorable campaign. His attacks are usually based on fact. McCain, on the other hand, will say anything, regardless of facts or common decency. If there was any doubt left, he is showing that he is unfit to be president.
