


(CNN) - The wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama told CNN's Larry King Wednesday that she is not offended by a much-publicized comment made towards her husband in Tuesday night's debate.
In the presidential match-up at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, Sen. John McCain criticized Obama for supporting the 2007 Bush-Cheney energy bill.
"It was an energy bill on the floor of the Senate, loaded down with goodies, billions for oil companies, and it was sponsored by Bush and Cheney. ... You know who voted for it? You might never know. That one,” he said, gesturing towards Obama. “You know who voted against it? Me."
When asked if McCain’s reference to Obama as "that one" was offensive, Michelle Obama simply said "no," adding that this issue has nothing to do with what's affecting average Americans hurting from the economic downturn.
"I think there are two conversations that have been going on throughout this whole election. There's the conversation that's been happening with the pundits ... and then there's the conversation that's been happening on the ground," she said.
She said that Americans "right now are scared" and "nervous about the economy."
"They don't care about the back and forth between the candidates ... They want real answers about how we're going to fix this economy and get the health care benefits on track so, you know, this is part of politics," she added.

Take a little time and research Tony Rezko and see all the $ connections with Mr. Obama. Also, I have to laugh when Sen. Obama tells us that William Ayers bombings happened when he was 8 years old. That is true BUT he wasn't 8 years old when Bill Ayers hired him to be the chairman of the board for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. In his Chairman role Mr. Obama directed CAC funds to groups like ACORN and the Developing Communities Project supporting radical views and politicizing of students. Wake up America, your background DOES count!

Since Sen. Obama began running for the President . Racism is alive and will. When we say most whites are prejudice against black people, We are playing the race card. We have been saying alone inside and outside of the workplace Whites are prejudice.
Michelle takes the high ground while McCain and Palin continue to take the low ground of slime and sleaze. While McCain and Palin claim to be churchgoers, Michelle demonstrates the connection between faith and life by honoring the 8th commandment relative to bearing false witness and telling lies and smears.
Michelle will make a great "Frist Lady" in the White House whom all families in America can respect as well as families throughout the world.
Needless to say, Michelle is far more substantive and quite a contrast to the millionairess Cindy who behaves and looks like a "Barbie Doll" or mannequin.
John McCain was rude and condescending in his behavior at last nights debate. His behavior is much like many Republicans that have run our economy into the ground. They always are looking down, condescending such as with "trickle down economics".
I applaud Mrs. Obama for taking the high ground.
Senator Obama is the "One" we need to lead our country as President.

For those McCain suporters who are calling Obama an Elitists because he own a nice house, I have a reason to believe you are hateful hypocrites.
You Criticize a man for having one nice house, Yet support one who own nine house and 13 exotic cars. Obama house can fit inside of McCain house anytime. Thats why it only leave me to think one thing about your motive.
McCain and Palin's stump in PA today was outrageous. As they spoke I checked every fact I could via the internet. Lie after lie after lie. I guess they think Americans, the "hardest workers in the world," are also the stupidest.
Shame on any American who follows either candidate blindly. Listen to the issues and check the fact through SEVERAL sources and not just one. Learn what is the truth and what is not.
McCain made promise after promise today that HE could fix everything. I remember too many politicians who made huge promises and then got into office and said "or, the economy is just too bad for me to give that tax break I spoke about, but I never knew about the budget being so bad."
Are they the fools for believing us to be so naive, or are we the bigger fools for actually being naive?
And talk about hypocritical! McCain now is using the slogan "Who is the real Obama?" Better would be "Who is the real McCain??" He is trying to sell the American people on his record, yet it seems that everything he stood for and said 8 years ago running against Bush has become null and void now. The Maverick of 2000 thinks he can run on that old label when he clearly turned 180 degrees around and now is the "Bushy" he was so against years ago. McCain's record is simply abysmal and he somehow wants the American people to pretend we don't remember. I think McCain is showing he clearly doesn't remember. Perhaps his age is really having an impact after all.
