New McCain ad calls Obama 'not presidential'

A McCain ad calls Obama 'not presidential.

A McCain ad calls Obama 'not presidential.

(CNN) - John McCain launched a new television ad Wednesday morning that calls Barack Obama flat-out 'not presidential,' hours after the two men squared off in a presidential debate that notably lacked few pointed jabs from either candidate.

The 30-second spot also continues the McCain campaigns newest line of attack against the Democratic presidential candidate, asking "Who is Barack Obama?"

Watch: New Mccain aide calls Obama unpresidential

“The National Journal says he’s the Senate’s most liberal," the ad's narrator says. "How extreme. But when pressed, how does he defend himself?"

Fact check: Is Obama the most liberal senator?

"They’re not telling the truth," Obama is shown saying in a television interview. "I hate to say that people are lying, but here’s a situation where folks are lying."

"Mr. Obama, we all know the truth…Not presidential," the ad's narrator responds.

The campaign says the ad will air nationally, though the extent of the buy remains unclear.

The irony is that all of these low blows just make Sen McCain look like the "unpresidential" one. What a shame to see him go so low. I used to admire the man so much. I expect a "Michael Richards Moment" any day now.

Nope, he's not presidential. Truth hurts, but I doubt the Obama koolaid drinkers will ever believe it.

Here's a fact for you – if Obama was running as a Republican, you can be dang sure his Ayers, Wright, and Reszko connections would have been front page news. You would have screamed and cried until he withdrew.

Thank goodness he's a Dem. He can keep his secrets and all you fools and the media will never explore it.

    November 5th – Obama President
November 6th – Goodbye America – say hello to rampant unemployment, higher taxes for everyone making more than 40,000 a year, and no national security.

This ad does not talk about the economy, oil crisis, nor housing trouble. This ad displays an emotional, irrational, angry old man whom is acting like a 3 year old toddler. This is obvious Americans that we can't afford a senior citizen to run our country.

McCain needs to give his donors back their money. Who is even listening to him anymore.

The ad is still not talking about the economy.

I actually feel really bad for McCain. This man is a War Hero, for crying out loud – and he's just reducing himself by the day. I have stuck by Obama from day one, but I feel sorry for Senator McCain. I understand he truly wants the Presidency, but his age, unfortunately is not on his side. He looks so tired and acts so snippy, as if he needs a nap.
He is grasping at straws and that is a shame; He is too honorable a man.

Not presidential?! Give me a break, McCain! Odd how the MAJORITY of people in this country seem to disagree with you. Look at the polls to get the facts. It doesn't really matter which poll you look at nowadays because even the more conservative ones have Obama ahead. Good luck grasping at straws and trying to smear for the next three weeks. Your campaign and chances for the presidency are going down in flames!

What a joke... Grandpa Munster stalked around the stage like he had a load in his pants. He sputtered and spewed out lies, innuendo and half truths. Obama had him pinned every time he tried to manipulate the truth. Barack was poised, insightful and knew his material. This is a man who is indeed Presidential!

If McCain's camp thinks that Obama is 'not presidential' then I'm really not sure what that makes McCain.

To be President you should be able to show respect to people. McCain, showed very little of that in the debate. I was appalled that McCain refused to shake Obama's hand at the end of the debate, instead settling for a pat on the back, while looking the other way.

Very Presidential Senator McCain – NOT...

McCain spoke of his "vision" for America last night, but clearly did not present it to the American people.
    Obama did.

Not presidential is accusing your opponent of ties to terrorists. Ugly lies. McCain/Palin should be run out of town. They are a disgrace.

Sorry, John McCain you are not presidential material. Your disposition is not worthy of a president. Your personna is so rude and disrespectful. Too many flasehoods you proclaim in speeches and ads.

Your choice of Palin was another bad decision. You did vote agianst the troops going to Lebanon and you where right once. Palin is a total embarrasement to professional women. Your biggest enemy is Palin because she will take you out if your elected. She is a very dangerous woman.

I guess McCain didn't pay attention during the debate.

McCain was the one who did not look presidential when Obama was talking. While Obama was talking, Senator McCain crossed his arms, paced, and even turned his back.
On the other hand, Obama was paying attention and watching when John was talking.

After the debate, instead of talking with the people, McCain quickly left.
On the other hand, Obama stayed around and was talking with voters.

A president is supposed to pay attention and listen. Through two debates, that person has been Obama.

I don't know if it's just me, but everything I hear coming out of McCain or Palin's mouth (I truly feel it is ONE mouth that feeds the two of them)....is what people are saying about THEM. They should both stand in front of a mirror and spout off whatever it is they have to throw at us....because....I keep thinking what I hear is that they are talking about themselves to themselves. What a poor state of affairs! Was it Abbott and Costello who said:"Fine mess you got us into this time, Ollie"...LOL – You decide who's Abbott or Costello...

McCain is NOT PRESIDENTIAL and this ad is all about him NOT OBAMA.....just go back and look at ALL campaigning. Obama remains calm and like JFK, fighting for his country, fighting for you and for me!

On the contrary. Obama / Biden will win because they will be able to Unite the country. Palin is a separatist and a divider, and not qualified to run a diverse country. It was pretty clear in Palin's "he's not like us" propoganda, that she has an un-American agenda, of which we should be wary . Palin will crash McCain's plane. AGAIN.

Excuse me? McCain appeared old, frail, and weak. He was bitter, petty, and antagonistic. He flailed around, with no clear plans. NOT presidential AT ALL. On the other hand, Obama was strong, calm, intense. His points were clear, well thought-through, and intelligent. He had great plans. VERY presidential.

McCain is desperate. Saying something doesn't make it so. The American people are smarter than that.

McCain/Palin is an example of what happens when all you have are lies. This is expected because more people these days seek the truth.
