What did McCain accomplish by suspending his campaign and rushing to washington? – nothing..
Even rupublican analysts are saying now McCain lost control of his campaign.
The Ayers factor is all smear as he tries desperately to take attention away from the economy und the financial crisis.

You fools who are taking your money out of the stock market just because it has dipped lower then you can remember need to get news paperds and read them from the year just before Bill Clinton left office after eight years of "the good times". The market did the same thing then. When the Repugs came into office it was down around 8. I remember cause I was there. Eight years of Democratic financial workings had the economy in pretty top shape and when Repugs took over look what has happened. So bottom line..... Hold on, don't let this drop in the market chase you away. It wil recover nicely when President Obama puts his financial team to work. McCain ran in 2000 and the Republicans selected Bush because it was their opinion that Bush was a better choice than McCain. So that being the case why would we want second best in there now. If he was not wanted then, he is not wanted now. Probably the only one that doesn't know it is McCain.

I think "THAT ONE" is running a well managed campaign and staying on subject. It is clear he has surrounded himself with smart people and that is a sign of the level of his own intelligence to do that. A really smart person seeks out smart people.

I think there is a lesson to be learned here by Senator McCain.
