But after that question when the women accused Obama being an "Arab" and McCain responds was " a decent,family man" NOT a decent American family man, he lose my vote. And if something happens to Obama before this elections, America will no longer have the voice to cry injustice to those who abuses their citizens of different race, religion, or social standing. Speaking of terrorists, Is the Alaskan Separtist Group on that list? If so, why not the media attack her family (husband) for being a member of said group the why they attacked Obama ex-peacher?

I just want to say, for those that want to say check out his birth certificate. First of all, it doesn't matter where Obama is born, the simple fact that his mother was an "American Citizen legalizes him automatically. PERIOD! Has everyone forgotten that within less than 9 months of Mr. Bush taking office, we in America thought our world was coming to an end. If our elected President, no matter whom it is, has that kind of power, it would mean that we would have no reason to have a Congress or Governors or even Financial Institutions. Hatred is contagious and it seems to be spreading very fast. Controversy is healthy if it isdirected sensibly and matter-of-factually. I'm angry too. Conservatives deregulated the savings and loan industry and led us into the savings and loan debacle. They deregulated the mortgage industry and led us into this disaster. Yes, we the people are angry. I see people doing without everyday. There are many people that are living on $17000.00 and a lot less a year.
When the price of gas goes up it puts those people and others in a bind to buy gas to go to work.
When the price of food goes up it puts those people and others in a bind to buy food to put on the table and buy gas to go to work.
When the power bill goes up it puts a larger strain on those people, to spend the money that they needed for gas to get to work, so they could cook the food that they could hardly buy and put on the table.
I am an independent small business that has seen a lot less customers lately and probably will for a while because understandably I come way after the price of gas, food, power bills and clothes.
I feel that NAFTA has hurt the everyday hard working people of the United States and really needs to be revamped or abolished.
Washington and Wall Street are a mess. The leadership in Washington should stay in session until they can learn to balance books. One bill and only one (no add-ons) should be brought up and then voted on at a time. By not letting anything sway votes, then and only then Washington might finally accomplish something.

I was not a supporter for Obama nor for McCain.. or anyone.. just did not pay too much attention to either one during the primary .. I believe politicians are politicians. so did not have much confidence in either one.. BUT

it seems to me that regardless of the issues that concerns our lives in our country now, McCain has not shown signs of being a good leader.

I really don't feel strongly about those issues like prayer in public schools and Ten Commandments in our courthouses. As far as the American constitution is concerned, I am not sure that the government should be legislating on spiritual issues affecting the prayer and the like. In my view, I think erosion of moral values in the church is of greater concern. The Bible is not particularly interested in improving the general morality of the world. In other words, we should not be so concerned about the government legislating to have non-Christians acting like Christians. So I think these people at McCain rallies are going to disappointed and disillusioned if they are looking for the Government to be their salvation. This is a difficult issue though but as a general rule; we don't need to preach to people as some are trying to.

The congress is ready to nationalize industry. If we tune out the madness, it will not be important anymore. We must not lend ears to Mcain/Palin rhetoric lest we ligitamize their words. Remember, they are playing to their base. John Lewis is correct, McCain and Palin's campaign rhetoric in the last few days reminds one of long years past when racist officials stocked the fires of the public, resulting in violence, lynchings, and such of their targets.
