McCain has done nothing to sway votes other than paint Obama as Anti-American at best and a terrorist at worst. If he really believes that he has made some gains the past few days due to anything other than fear and hatred he is more off his rocker than anyone could imagine.

I have had just about all I can take from Sarah Palin. She's a liar and is willing to do just about anything to get her way, which is very dangerous. I watch alot of politics on TV and listened to a discussion about her future in politics and was shocked to hear that she actually might still have a career. After getting to no her thus far, I have to question her ability remain govenor at this point. I am just so unimpressed with her and McCain because I believe that they have sunk to an all time low, inciting hatred and anger at these rallies. I have completely loss respect for McCain, I am a veteran and I do not think he cares about us at all. He's a fake. Bottom line, they just need to state there differences, argue over whose is better but never promote hatred in the pursuit of division.

All I can say is that McCain/Palin are downright liars and masters in twisting facts. Palin said during in her anti-abortion speech that Obama said he doesn't want his daughters to be punished with baby.

Get the facts right, Palin! Obama was speaking in the context of sex education and not abortion.

I think from a judgement perspective that Obama would be better suited to be commander in chief. Sen McCain sounds as if he is still in high school at a pep rally geting ready to play a football game Wednesday night. These debates are not about who wins and and does not win. These debates need to be reconfigured so that they have value to our country. I would hope our next President does not look at every challenge as if they all have winners and losers. My concern with Sen McCain the winners/losers mindset is a part of his hard wiring. We will need a President who will try to find a way to obtain common ground.

I am an independent voter and not a party loyalist. I have voted for republicans most of my voting years, including John McCain (I was raised in southern Az). I served with the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer with two tours in Iraq. I SHOULD be voting for John McCain...but I'm not. He has shown poor leadership and lack of integrity as can be seen by most of the articles here on the ticker, but that's not the reason I'm not voting for him. HE VOTED AGAINST US when he refused to support Sen. Webb's (Vietnam war era Marine infantry officer) GI Bill, a bill that Sen. Obama/Sen. Biden were co-sponsors of. He caved to anti-immigrant groups, when anyone who has served in a combat unit can tell you that immigrants fight for us with more ferocity than any hate-spewing conservative coward. No, I am not conservative, I am not liberal, I am an AMERICAN PATRIOT, and like so many of my fellow veterans, I support Sen. Obama. Not because he is the anti-Bush, but because he is a leader with vision, vision for healtcare, vision for intelligent foreign policy, vision for domestic economic strength, and vision for strengthening our military, vision that the GOP sadly does not offer.
