Why does this woman think that she and Senator McCain are the only ones who know who the "bad guys" are? It's silly. Please Mrs. Palin, please stop inferring that Mr. Obama is sympathetic to terrorists and is somehow unpatriotic. We do not need the fear mongering that existed in the 2004 election, and it appears to me that such fear mongering is all that this "pitbull" has brought to her campaign.

I have been motivated to volunteer for the Obama campaign for nearly two years now, and it had everything to do with his politics. But after reading the craziness of Palin, I have never been more sure that I am doing the right thing, and I am even more motivated to get out there and stomp for what I believe in. “We know who the bad guys are.” Yet another not-so-veiled attempt to rally the forces of division. Nothing simultaneously confuses and motivates people like good ol' reliable fear. When are the politics of fear superseded by genuine concern for the fear Americans feel about our economic future? What about real solutions? The attacks of 9/11 initially bred unity and resolve to face the challenges that lay ahead; however, our fear would be used against us to persuade us that we needed to get the "bad guys" in Iraq. Now, when we face the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression, what do we need to do?...of course, "get the bad guys." Yeah, that's it. It all makes sense now, once we get the bad guys, unemployment will drop, corporate mergers will cease, the price of gas will go down, stocks will rise and, oh yeah, my property value will be restored.

Fear mongering at its best. These simplistic words "good guys", "bad guys" and the simplistic ideas behind them WILL NOT solve any of our nation's current problems nor bring people together to work toward the common good nor improve our national standing.
The words coming out of Palin's mouth – and the message being espoused by the McCain campaign – are what we should all be afraid of!

This woman is truly dangerous. I really liked McCain in 2000 and would have voted for him over Hillary if Obama wouldn't have won the primary. I wasn't sure who I'd vote for once Obama won. It is so clear to me that Palin is dishonest and not very intelligent although she is great at public speaking when she has a prepared script. She is out there to appeal to the low information voter but I truly believe that most people are too intelligent and have too much at risk to believe what she spouts off. She did abuse her power when firing Monegan and she has very little knowledge outside of Alaska. She was a very poor pick for VP and that is very sad because if McCain could have chosen a more competent VP candidate, he could be ahead in the polls instead of behing. Imagine if he would have selected Romney!

John McCain has been in Washington for 26 years. Much ofl the trouble he has been embroiled in during that time has been related to his conduct with lobbyists; from the Keating Five to Vicki Isleman. He has been a huge de-regulation advocate. Now his campaign is being run predominantly by the very lobbyists responsible for many of our current problems stemming from Wall Street. Don't tell me he is the one to fix things. He is part of the problem.

What is this, elementary school?
The world is NOT that black and white. Give us some credit here lady. Being leader of the free world takes an understanding that is not that cut and dry. What makes her think that on an international stage WE arent looked upon as "Bad Guys". We need leadership that has a certain level of intelligence and understanding, not arrogance and ego-mania. Especially when a woman like this is so religiously motivated.

It seems that the majority of Americans are bad guys/girls for even thinking about voting for Obama. I kind of like it.
Maybe the 45% that still think the Republicans are the answer should consider invading a state and secede from the Union (Say Alaska).

No foreign government could succeed in doing near the damage to the US as the Bush administration and the republicans have done.
