What has happened to the American press? Back when reporters were hired for their journalistic integrity and not party affiliation we never would have gotten such one sided bias reporting as we have had in this election. I guess the anger over the 2000 election and 8 years of Bush have produced this kind of intellectual desperation in the minds of those who felt they should have won Now because of that we’ll end up with the Democratic version of Bush. I hope Barack Obush proves me wrong, but I’m guess 4 years from now these same reporters will be told to look in the mirror and tell themselves once again how the ends justify the means.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE CNN ELECTION EXPRESS. WE KNOW WHAT AND WHO YOU ARE BACKING. IT CERTAINLY HAS NO CHRISTIAN OVERTONE. McCAIN/PALIN 08

Catholic-mom-4-OBAMA   October 13th, 2008 6:07 pm ET

@ JIMMY "MCCAIN WILL WIN THE ELECTION"……….KEEP DREAMING.

Last week it was reported that 30%……….30%! Of Republicans think he will lose this election.

Those are not excited voters.

And Americans are REJECTING the Republicans for their lies, hate, division and their vile ads.

Obama Our President, FL   October 13th, 2008 5:57 pm ET

PLEASE Convey to Ms Palin,
To give our fighting men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan the tools they need is PATRIOTISM
To rebuild the Common Infrastructure is PATRIOTISM,
To make sure our nation is health both economically, socially, morally etc, etc, is PATRIOTISM
AND YES WE NEED TO PAY FAIR TAXES FOR ALL THESE EFFORTS,
THUS MAKING US PATRIOTIC BY PAYING OUR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES.
WAKE-UP PEOPLE.

How can John McCain turn things around????Hmmmmlet me see , oh yes, he could buy CNN. Never have I seen such biased reporting.Face it Americans, your media decides who will win your election and rule your country.

jimmy   October 13th, 2008 5:44 pm ET

JOHN MCCAIN WILL WIN THE ELECTION.

Scott L   October 13th, 2008 5:43 pm ET

@Denise New York

Palin WAS vindicated in troopergate. It was a non-issue.

Oh wait, you are listening to liberal media again trying to keep the story alive…

josh   October 13th, 2008 5:26 pm ET

Obama wants us all to dump our retirement savings to save the economy and ourselves. How is this any different than a taxpayer bailout? Then, offer no capital gains tax on buying in the market for 2 years. You can't do both !!
You would be a complete moron to touch your 401k, unless your over 70. We will all be poor when we retire, long after Obama is gone, if you were to sign on to this.

Maggie from Virginia   October 13th, 2008 5:13 pm ET

OK McCain supporters. This may be hard but try to put on your thinking caps. This is not a "New Economic Plan" Obama is proposing. The Obama team is now giving you specifics on the plan he introduced before. Please try to keep up.

Please update us on the status of Jack Cafferty. He is missed intensely.

Shari, NY   October 13th, 2008 4:58 pm ET

Me too jumping on the bandwagon asking for Cafferty. I hope he is OK. My belated condolences to him and also to the Bidens. I am now adding Dick Chency to the MIA list. Is he too busy packing to utter even a grunt?

Ian Rennie   October 13th, 2008 4:55 pm ET

Bowling Green's a nice town. Pretty conservative, but nice.

ANGIE   October 13th, 2008 4:55 pm ET

Patric, PHX,AZ   October 13th, 2008 4:54 pm ET

What is this thing am hearing about where Jack is? Who said he's missing. He's probably in his cave thinking of what next to say. Am sure he's fine, maybe even on vacation.
He'll be back, CNN knows they'll loose alot if the fire him, lot of us will just think CNN is run from planet jupiter.

C'mon on back Jackie Boy!! Hope all is well with you. Oh yeah, can CNN ELECTION EXPRESS help SHAMETALK EXPRESS with a spare tire?

sarahinfla   October 13th, 2008 4:49 pm ET

Why do we pander to these small towns, the mentality in these towns are what we are hopefully moving away from. Everyone seem to be looking for that Norman Rockwell image, but when I see those images and those small town I see the unchanging ways of the past no people of color in those images, the idea that if a person is of color they are in some way inferior and if they show that they are intelligent / smart then they are uppity and should not show it. It should be hidden like some type of curse.

So these small towns i'm sorry need to wake up and join the 21st century where change will occur with or without them.

White woman of 63 for Obama from Day 1.   October 13th, 2008 4:41 pm ET

White woman of 63 for Obama from Day 1.   October 13th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

Yeh, I miss Jack Cafferty and am so sorry to hear of his recent loss.

Obama Supporter from UK   October 13th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

Mark, B'ham Al.

Typical idiot / McCain Fan. It's better for the enviroment AND for your pocket if cars are made more economical with lower emissions - it's not very good or very cheap to have cars that are measured in Gallons Per Mile…

GObama

Speider   October 13th, 2008 4:35 pm ET

I know people joke about moving if a certain party wins the election, but with McCain Palin, I actually started asking friends in foreign nations if they had room for me.

Palin announces she has been vindicated of any wrong doing. It reminds me of my ex wife..totally pathological and psychotic. She scares me.

Connie   October 13th, 2008 4:35 pm ET

Please CNN listen to bruja , tell us were Jack is . Tell him we need him back soon. Love you Jack.

Connie from Indiana

Good Will- donating to acorn for Obama   October 13th, 2008 4:35 pm ET

I like Obama's "NEW ECONOMIC PLAN" especially the mortgage part that he borrowed from Hillary Clinton after he called it "disastrous"

When are people going to see through this one trick pony?????

Denise....Boardman, Ohio   October 13th, 2008 4:33 pm ET

I WANT JACK! I WANT JACK! I WANT JACK! CNN, where is Jack Cafferty? Would you please let his fans/viewers know what is going on with Jack…we are all concerned…..God bless you Jack, wherever you are…..

Natasha in tally   October 13th, 2008 4:32 pm ET

Spencer/Commonwealth of Virginia   October 13th, 2008 4:27 pm ET

I agree with Maggie from Virginia 100%. True leadership brings economic growth.

Phil   October 13th, 2008 4:27 pm ET

When Obama speaks the World responds LOL ok so I guess the voices of Palin and McCain were silenced. I seriously wonder about the character and morals of the Obama supporters

I'm John McCain   October 13th, 2008 4:26 pm ET

Hey, have I won yet? Why are all these people mad? Who am I?

Abuse of Power   October 13th, 2008 4:26 pm ET

Mccain, you showed no leadership since you allowed your campaign to take it to the ground. Bill Ayers has the support from President Ronald Reagan and the republican party. Todd Palin does not have an education but Sara allowed her husband to run the office to the ground. the Palins are very dangerous and Mccain will not last a year in the White House. I would pick Biden as VP over Todd Palin VP because Sara doesn't have the courage to stand up to Mccain and Todd. She is not a strong woman.

N.S of Huntsville, Al   October 13th, 2008 4:26 pm ET

YEAH WHERE IS JACK? DID CNN FIRE HIM FOR SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT ABOUT PAILN? SO MUCH FOR KEEPING THEM HONEST. CNN YOU JUST REFUSED TO MAKE PAILN ACCOUNTABLE FOR HER LIES ABOUT THE ABUSE OF POWER.

HURRY BACK JACK

King   October 13th, 2008 4:25 pm ET

McCain what did you talk about yesterday? "Ummm..cant remember, but you know Obama…" oh poor guy i like him alot he makes me laugh but this country isn't up for gamble. Go Obama!!

Maggie from Virginia   October 13th, 2008 4:23 pm ET

When Obama speaks, the world responds. DOW Jones up more than 900 points today. Biggest jump ever!! I like Obama's economic plan. Great leaders; Obama/Biden all the way!!!!!

Spencer/Commonwealth of Virginia   October 13th, 2008 4:17 pm ET

The Election Express looks way cooler than the Low Road Express.

arlene, CA   October 13th, 2008 4:17 pm ET

Jack Cafferty is missing. Hurry back Jack.

denise new york   October 13th, 2008 4:16 pm ET

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE SERIOUSNESS OF PALIN'S ABUSE OF POWER AND BEING UNETHICAL??????????
HER HUSBAND TODD WAS HEAVILY INVOVLED. THIS IS SCARY FOR OUR COUNTRY AND PALIN IS NOT READY TO BE THE VP. SHE IS AN INSULT TO ALL WOMEN MCCAIN IS EVEN WORSE FOR PICKING HER AND SHOW POOR JUDGEMENT HOW COME NO ONE IS JUMPING ON THE PALIN ABUSE EVERYONE WAS SO QUICK TO JUMP ON OBAMA FOR AYERS

Mark, B'ham., Al.   October 13th, 2008 4:15 pm ET

Corvette will be out of business unless they build a Vet getting 100mpg with no emmissions exhaust standards so Barack can please his Enviromental NUT handlers.

Shari, NY   October 13th, 2008 4:13 pm ET

Poor Sarah, calling Norfolk "Nor-fork". She must be thinking of North Fork Bank. What do you expect when she shares Bush's coaches? He has been struggling with the pronounciation of "nuclear" for 8 years and will leave the same way he came in.

bruja   October 13th, 2008 4:09 pm ET

CNN: WHERE IS JACK CAFFERTY? Please tell us, there are a lot of fans waiting for him……………..

Ronke   October 13th, 2008 4:04 pm ET

Looking forward to the sparring on Wednesday!!!
