RICHMOND, Virginia (CNN) – Sarah Palin mistakenly reprimanded her own supporters at an outdoor rally in Richmond on Friday after they started yelling that they couldn’t hear the candidate.
Palin was in the midst of blaming predatory lenders for the nationwide mortgage crisis when a large group of supporters in the rear of the crowd began demanding that someone turn up the volume on the event’s speakers.
They chanted “Louder! Louder!” in unison, drawing the attention of other audience members, who began chanting “Sarah! Sarah!”
The vice presidential candidate apparently mistook them for some of the anti-war protesters that have disrupted some of her previous events.
“I would hope at least that those protestors have the courage and the honor of thanking our veterans for giving them the right to protest,” Palin told them, drawing a roar from the crowd.
She then returned to her speech.
“We’re going to walk with those who are under the wrong mortgage and get them a fixed rate mortgage that will help them keep their homes,” she said.

Like she said at the debate, she will not answer the questions the way the moderator wants to hear or Senator Biden wants to hear, she will talk straight to the American people and she is doing it.
That's just funny.. she couldn't hear what they said.. but just expects protests at her rallies as the norm. Maybe that was the problem with her interviews and the debate.. it's not that she didn't want to or couldn't answer the questions.. she just didn't hear them or understand them
She is the McCain prototype – shoot first and ask questions later. If this isn't proof that neither one of them listens to give a thoughtful response, I don't know what is.

This campaign has become laughable to the American people. Placing someone with a lack of qualifications such as Palin on the ticket shows a complete lack of judgement on the part of McCain, and i would be embarrased to vote for these two jokers.
Everyone except her and the republicans know that her "elevator doesn't go as far up as the basement". They thinks she is the best thing since, "slice bread." What idiots they all are!
It isn't so much that she misunderstood and thought her supporters were actually detractors. Its the way she treats her detractors, as though they are somehow unAmerican simply because they don't support HER.
She was in my community yesterday. Would not say where she would stop and refused to speak with media. She saw about 50 people. What happened to freedom of the press! Unethical! and she pals with her husband that wants to seceed from the union. What a bad choice.

Sarah Palin is not the traditional Republican candidate. She is not savvy in world politics. She does not seem bright enough to learn world politics, or even the issues important to our own country. She left her small town with a large deficit so her fiscal policies are not good either. McCain might have been a good candidate but his behavior lately and his choice in vice presidential candidates mean there is one more Republican voting Democrat in Wisconsin this election – voted Obama earlier today.

If she can't connect with her supporters, what about with foreign and domestic leaders? What about those with whom she disagrees? - –A very poor representation of our country!
Sarah Palin is definitely unqualified Vp candidate. She has to depend on Tag Along Todd to make all the decisions for her. I hate to think of the idea of him running the country if she is one step away from the presidency should anything happen to John McCain.
Furthermore, the media need to do further investigations on her abusing her power and violating the state ethics code as Alaskan governor and her partner in crime Todd. What about their membership of the AIP in trying to secede from America. These important subjects come into play before the Nov 4 presidential election.

Lets be serious, really. "This" woman could be our President someday. At the top of the list of things that worry me are her overly strong sense of self importance, this goes for her husband Todd also. Her ability to lie, cover-up, or otherwise alter the truth, this goes for her husband Todd also. Her temper, this goes for her husband Todd also. Her stupidity, THIS does not go for Todd however, HE seems to have been able to pull off being a phony, family loving, wife supporting MAN. When by all accounts, he is less than a man who abuses his wifes governership, by using 1/2 of her office as HIS, probably to work on getting Alaska to secede from the Union, as we now know, he is not home taking care of the children, neither is she, I wonder who is? Must have been the oldest two, which is why they bailed on "the family". I don't want her answering a phone at 3 am, or John McCain, esp after he has taken Ambien, as he does nightly for sleep-it is an hallucinigenic drug, look it up, its true, now THAT is scarey!!!
