Here's the deal:
I'm sure (and hope) John McCain is a good man. I do think that he does not have control over his campaign and is overwhelmed by what is happening to him. From time to time he wakes up and realizes that the Bush-Rove operatives have gone too far and brings back the John McCain America once knew. Unfortunately even if I don't blame him, this is a horrible lack of leadership and shows that if he can't control his campaign, how will he control this country?

In SC...one of the reddest of the red...there are usually yard signs in every yard, mostly backing the republican ticket with a few dems scattered. This election, n-o-t-h-i-n-g! No McCain-Palin yard signs, no Obama signs...I truly think Obama will do better here than anyone has since Carter. I predict landslide that the polls can't measure.

I really used to respect John McCain... I thought he was honest, had the best interests of the USA at heart, and had courageously served his country... first in the miliatary and then in the Senate... but what a difference a few years make. Now, he's out of touch with both reality and the majority of people in this country, his negative campaigning makes me instantly turn the page or the channel, and looking at him reminds me of the past... We need a new direction in this country. No politician is without faults and Obama is not perfect; however, I hope and pray that Obama can truly lead this country and return us to a place of honor, truth, intregrity, responsibility, and possibility. A new "Poll" CNN claims. Do your research and LOOK at how they gather their statistical data - an absolute farce by any professional standard, and deliberately skewed. It certainly is in the media's best interests to "market" their boy - lots of $ to made in this product, to be sure. What a joke our "democracy" has become.

More evidence of media bias. Now we're getting the "Will Obama suffer from the 'Bradley effect?'" articles as seen on the CNN web site. Bradley was 1982. Buried under the headline is a point that it hasn't been seen in recent state elections. Is this simply an attempt to gain a reverse Bradley effect by imposing the guilt factor? Look, barring a major Obama screwup, e's going to win the election and it won't be that close. But should he screwup, does this stuff just provide an excuse, or perhaps even worse?

Nov 4th cannot come soon enough! I am so so tired of being subjected to Sarah Palin I could puke hockey pucks.
It was really interesting to see how Palin was receieved by the tens of thousands of hockey fans at the opening of the Philly and Ranger game. She was on the ice for 90 seconds and the boo's that smoothered the small applause lasted 90 seconds. That is a very clear sign that unless she is in front of the GOP faithful she does not receive a warm welcome from your everyday JOE SIX PACKS and HOCKEY FANS.

They went about shredding Obama's character. They used code names to call him a character. I just hope those two kids and their mum have not been watching TV for the last two weeks.

I could not believe McCain would condone people, of all people his running mate Sarah Palin, to smear Obama in such a ruthless manner.

Obama is a man of candor. Throughout the campaign, Obama has not called McCain or Sarah Palin names. He has been a very cool politician. It pays to be cool.

As others have stressed, and as I will stress as well. For us Obama supporters this is not over until each and every one of us cast our ballots and had them counted. I was accused of being a sheep for supporting Senator Obama, but see, I have looked at all the candidates, including 3rd party, and Senator Obama is the one that not only shares a lot of my ideals, but who I think shows reasonable judgment and good ideas. I must also say that at least he has ideas. Senator McCain's speech today included saying three times, that he had a plan for this or that, and yet again, no details, no substance on what those plans were. My point being, maybe Senator Obama's are not the best ideas, but at least he has them, and they have substance. I am a graduate student pursuing an MBA, so for those of you who cry out "Marxist" and "Socialism", I don't think you know what those mean, and don't realize, how wrong you are. Besides that fact, as my history professor told us once, "Socialism, is not a dirty word", its just been perverted by fascists and dictators.
