From

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania (CNN) – Though her cell phone service repeatedly dropped during her call-in, Sarah Palin made her first appearance on the Rush Limbaugh show on Tuesday, just minutes before taking the stage at a rally in Scranton.

Watch: Palin calls in to Limbaugh's show

In an unusual moment, Limbaugh asked Palin if she had thought about her "political future beyond this campaign." The vice presidential nominee told the conservative talker and his millions of listeners: “That’s a good question.” But she then quickly re-assured the radio host that her focus was on winning the White House with John McCain on November 4.

“No, because I am thinking about November 4, and I am just so absolutely passionate about the job that we have in front of us from now to November 4,” she said.

For the first time, Palin directly addressed the controversy surrounding ACORN’s voter registration operation, and suggested that the media is trying to cover up the story, despite the fact that dozens of national news outlets are investigating the community organization and Obama’s ties to the group.

“Let’s talk quickly about ACORN and the unconscionable situation that we are facing right now with voter fraud, given the ties between Obama and ACORN and the money his campaign has sent them,” Palin told Limbaugh. “Obama has a responsibility to reign in ACORN and prove that he is willing to fight voter fraud. For shame if the mainstream media were to cover this one up.”

The only cover up is how dumb this woman really is. I know I don't speak for all women, but she makes the gender look bad. McCain coulnd't find any smart Replublican woman to put on his ticket?

McFraud   October 14th, 2008 4:53 pm ET

Cover up?!? haha, Talk about a media COWARD. Palin has yet to face REAL QUESTIONS from America.

Wise White Guy   October 14th, 2008 4:53 pm ET

Remember if you care about this country you will go easy on Sarah. After all the last thing we want is them to throw another hail mary and pull her from the ticket. Would probably pick Rush Limbaugh or something. Of course i doubt Limbaugh would give up his cushy chair and handsome salary from the Republican party. Who would shove the garbage down the throats of the gullible if he were not on the radio.

Ben, VT   October 14th, 2008 4:53 pm ET

McShame is a doddering old fool, who picks a school mom to be the VP. What a joke on America. Well, after November 4th McShame won't be laughing anymore.

The joke is on you John, Americans believe more in this country than you ever will. Unlike you, we know how to put COUNTRY FIRST, and that's by not voting for a ticket with Sarah Palin, no matter what our party affiliation (Dem, GOP, Indy), we're not having it.

Obama/Biden 08

Someone said yesterday that the scariest thing about Sarah is she doesn't know what she doesn't know. She really thinks she can run the country. What a crackup.

Joyce Bolli   October 14th, 2008 4:52 pm ET

I would ask the question about her future in Alaska. She is finished in national politics and if the people of Alaska are looking at her abuse of power and the very suspicious building of her home in Wasilla they will probably throw her out there as well.

FactCheck   October 14th, 2008 4:52 pm ET

Please, Gov. Palin, keep a very high profile for the Republican party. You have a way of rallying the Dems and Independents so that America will be ensured that the Repubs never gain control of anything again.

Big Mike   October 14th, 2008 4:52 pm ET

Republican hypocrisy is nauseating and intoxicatiing, bloviating over ACORN, when Republicans have mastered the art of voter fraud in elections past, they should know. ACORN has NOT committed voter fraud, because registrations have to be turned over to the State, do you really think Mickey Mouse could turn up to a polling station and vote? This is just a ploy, so they can contest any states lost by a close number. The Obama campaign runs their own internal voter registration and turnout program, Obama worked with ACORN before in outreach to the community, as did many politicians, to try an tie him to ACORN is just another desperate play. Sarah Palin is nothing but a poster girl for repressed Trolls like Limbaugh, Buchanan, Hannity, and the Blll Kristol's of the world. When it's all said and done, this will go down as the most laughable VP choice in history!

Lucy Ngo   October 14th, 2008 4:51 pm ET

Palin doesn't seem to have enough experience. I don't think she will be a good representative. But, there's nothing really we can do to change that. Let's hope for the best for our nation.

pam Eugene OR   October 14th, 2008 4:51 pm ET

Palin's usual…change or ignor the question and answer something completely different. he is such a swich & bait person. I also see she wants to talk about ACORN but not about her ethics.
That must be because she doesn't have any ethics and no one would expect Rush to ask hyer anything but fluff questions.
Is it voting day yet?????
I am sick to death of McCain & Palin. They can't be gone fast enough for me!

Being a democrat, I can only pray that another run for President is in Sarah's plans. She's only been on the national stage for 6 weeks and she's already made the short list of the most inept candidates ever. Governor Palin is the democrats trump card. She's unintelligent, rascist, ill-prepared, a disaster at press conferences and interviews and inarticulate. She's everything we hope and pray for in a candidate for the other party. By the way Sarah….Cindy is FURIOUS that you cut eye holes in the sheets from the master bedroom. That was fine Egytian linen. Do you know much those cost? Next time use the ones from the guest bedroom. Those are from the Martha Stewart collection. Still nice, but much, much cheaper.

JL   October 14th, 2008 4:50 pm ET

Does she want to be elected so she can abuse the power of the VP?

Maybe she can go back to Alaska and her peaceful life and get people to build another new house for her family for free, promising a state contract in return.

You have to watch another channel if you want to know the truth about the republicans because CNN won't cover it; lord forbid they point out so much as one negative thing about Palin or McCain. They only like generating negative news about Obama and intentionally injecting race into the election.

Laurie from Connecticut   October 14th, 2008 4:49 pm ET

If I were Palin, I would be more worried about my daughter marrying a high school drop-out. What does this say about how see feels about education. She has a future son-in-law who dropped out of high school!!! What message is that sending to our children. If you are supporting a marriage of two individuals (who in my opinion are too young to get married – pregnant or not) both of them should at least have a high school diploma!

I'm sure that one of McCain's many houses is always in need of cleaning staff. Maybe she can apply there after they kick her out of her governor job in Alaska. If that doesn't work out, she can always swim across to Russia and get a job shining Putin's shoes.

Lu from Houston, TX   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

The mind-boggling thing is, how was Palin permitted to be elected as a governor in the first place? Is Alaska void of professional media scrutiny because it's too cold?

Andy - Atlanta, GA   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Palin on pretty much every question: That's a good question. I'll find out and get back to ya!

Michelle, PA   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Political future? She'll either be "retiring" from political life to spend time with her family, or joining Ann Coulter and her ilk on the far right whacko fringes while the rest of America moves on.

Jim   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

“That’s a good question.” ???????? Why didn't she just say her plans are to be the VP–unless she now doesn't think its going to happen.

Suem   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Politics is over for Palin, when she gets back to Alaska they will probably impeach her…….how many decent people go on Rush Limbaugh ……… about the only place left that she can go…….and wants to hear her lies……..Limbaugh and Palin make a good pair…….both are over the edge and way out in left field……..

facts are facts   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

There are huge rallies going on in Alaska right now to have Palin either impeached or recalled. There are videos of this that I tried putting the link to them but CNN wouldn't post.

Come CNN get Lou Dobbs off the sensor's list and let some truth come out to the people.

Jeanne   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Anyone who supports Palin at this point, simply isn't interested in the facts. McCain has either lost control of his campaign, or his judgement was flawed from the very beginning in chosing her for a running mate. How pathetic.

Tracey   October 14th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Just Amazing.. 29 comments by 29 people who seem to fail to grasp the reality that Sarah emboldies the spirit and beliefs far more than the other side and I would dare to even the beliefs of those on this board. Sarah is opposed to abortion so she has the special needs child, Joe supports wealth redistribution so he gives 0.2% of his income (less than $5000 in a decade) to charity. John believes that we should all help our fellow man so he gives away hundreds of thousands a year. Obama believes every vote should count so he works with ACORN and challenges absentee ballots in Ohio.

Face it… what really makes you mad about Sarah is that you believe in all that she believes in! American is great, we should help our fellow man and we don't want the government to do too much.

We don't need acorn's help. Remember it is registration, note votes. Besides Palin needs to get honest. She is an expert at avoiding the truth. When she was asked about using her power for personal needs. She flat out ignored the verdict, saying she was glad she was vindicated. Hello! She was not! The verdict stated that she did abuse her power.

Carroll Wills   October 14th, 2008 4:46 pm ET

Interesting that CNN is running this Limbaugh item, and yet they seem to be burying their own investigative story about Palin's AIP connection. Story ran on TV, but zero mention on the Web site (that I can find).

All this tells me who she is. She doesn't have what it takes to be my local trash collector, let alone our VP.

Palin does not have one. apparently, the personnel board is investigating more abuses of power that have been raised by her co-workers. The probe is expanding and she might be impeached. good.

Kate   October 14th, 2008 4:42 pm ET

One note for everyone to remember….Obama has been tied to some very bad people and organizations. There is no question that he has affiliated himself with them in the past. So please remember that the President of the U.S. has access to ALL information. Sensitive information. When placing your vote, be sure and think about that.

Chipster   October 14th, 2008 4:42 pm ET

Nola, ACORN just registers voters. That's it! That's all they do. Anyone who registers voters must turn in the registrations that are given to them. It's up to the Election Board to verify them or reject them. If someone is going around filling out bunches of registration forms, it shouldn't do them any good because the Election Board will reject them if they're doing their jobs. People who register voters have no way of verifying anything and the law requires them to give them to the Election Board.

Anonymous   October 14th, 2008 4:42 pm ET

The basic problem with Palin is not the troopergate abuse of power stuff.

The problem is, as the head of her state she was not competent enough
in politics to wrangle things in order to have one single guy fired. She
couldn't get it done. If she can't get that done, how the hell is she going
to run a country?

mrwright - Atlanta   October 14th, 2008 4:42 pm ET

I can tell you her political future:
Every decible of attack and negativity will continue to fall from her lips and onto her political future and they will continue to bury it as this election comes to a close with her continuing to feed the fires of the fringe that are burning McPalin's chances of winning any state.

She is barely qualifies to be a small town mayor – even in Alaska. It is embarrasing and insulting the she is even on the ticket. LIAR. She is a lying liar. Unfit for office. How can Alaska have been duped into electing this liar.

How does submitting voter registration forms that will be thrown out if they aren't verified represent anything sinister? It means ACORN doesn't have a very good quality control effort in place. ACORN does deserve criticism. But it isn't a conspiracy to commit voter fraud and it has no link to Obama since the primary.

Tim   October 14th, 2008 4:40 pm ET

Her political future looks bleak.

Sylvia, Dallas,GA   October 14th, 2008 4:40 pm ET

Sarah, is all of this worth exposing your children to the media. Why put them through this to obtain a status. GOP, it's not surprise that some Republicans are not voting for McCain/Palin ticket. They can't bring themselves to be won over by the pro-life sale.

Being a Chrisitian is more than just pro-like is about honesty.

B Davis - Atlanta   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

Hooknose Palin shouldn't be worthly of an interview.

Chip   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

A.C.O.R.N is an acronym, (hint, it's one time your CAPS LOCK KEY should be on.

JB   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

This ACORN situation is big and needs to be exposed to a greater extent than what it already is. Voter fraud is serious and should not be used to gain access to the White House. This is not an out of control third world nation but it sure seems like that's where this nation is headed when it come to the elections. Obama's connections to ACORN needs to be exposed before Nov. 4th.

Electra   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

Is it me or is there nothing going to be done about this lying hypocrite's abuse of power? Has it just been forgotten, or have the powers that be decided that despite the findings, as she said she has done nowt wrong, then they believe her? Just cos she says it dont make it so!
Sorry did i miss something? But where i come from u get punished for abuse of power and unethical behaviour?
Surely this has to be addressed BEFORE election otherwise you run the risk of having a VP who has abused her power?
Seriously, can someone answer this for me?

Niki, New Jersey   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

I have heard just about enough from Gov. Palin. She is not even close to playing in the league with Condi Rice, Hillary Clinton, Claire McCaskill and Kay Bailey Hutchinson. If she is the best the GOP can come up with, then they lose my vote. I have always voted Republican but this household will be voting OBAMA/BIDEN this time around. Palin is a disgrace to every thing I hold dear and she has completely discredited John McCain in her path to feed her ego. Funny how she makes herself so available to Limbaugh and Hannity but heaven forbid she show her face or call in to Blitzer. Now that is some straight talk.

Steven   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

Please be advised that the smears you will read here against Sarah Palin are totally without merit. She has a record that goes back to the 1990's as a TRUE reformist. Botox Joe Biden cannot even compare to Sarah Palin. Heck, even Barak cannot compare to the honesty and integrity of Sarah Palin! If Madonna doesn't like Sarah, then I'm on the right team!

Snafu   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

Funny, she will not go on any other networks but she goes on Limbaugh. Well you know her mental state, have to keep in line with the medicated crowd.

fella from Chicago   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

ACORN tied to Obama;
Rezko tied to Obama;
Ayers tied to Obama;
Wright tied to Obama;
Father Pfleger tied to Obama;
Farrakhan tied to Obama.

Bet the Devil himself is tied to Obama.

Corey Gabriel   October 14th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

Yep, its back to Alaska with Miss Sarah, her first dude and the rest of her brood. Thank God. What a shameful scam McCain tried to put over on the Country he allegedly loves. Back to Arizona for him, he should immediately retire from the Senate, especially after the disgraceful, hate and smear filled campaign he ran. He should be ashamed and he gave up his honor to feed his ambition. Pride indeed does goeth before a fall.

Dem in CA   October 14th, 2008 4:38 pm ET

Did Acorn cost Hillary the election? Was the 800k paid during the primary away for Obama to steal the election from her? Now we have Palin ?

Where is Jimmy Carter ensuring we have a legal election!

Spencer/Commonwealth of Virginia   October 14th, 2008 4:38 pm ET

What a dimwit this lady is. Why couldn't she make a pit stop in Quantico, VA yesterday. I know some people up there who would have served justice for the American people. They're called the C.I.A.

sal   October 14th, 2008 4:38 pm ET

Obama Biden won fair

Just Like Bush! but better!

It is starting to come clear to You. It OK you still have the Gov. Job where you can fire others for having a bad hair day.

Again, Obama Biden have won clearly

Last 8 year have been nothing but a bucket full of lies, or misnformations. Dems, learn thier lesson in 1994. As Glen Beck would probably say (GOP must hit rock Bottom).

Pepou   October 14th, 2008 4:38 pm ET

What about going back to Alaska as a hockey mom and drop out of politics ? That would be the best advice to that dimwit,

Chris   October 14th, 2008 4:38 pm ET

What's wrong with supporting an organization trying to get people to vote?

If you give your $$ to the Red Cross… should you be held accountable if they misuse the $$?

This is a weak argument McPalin

Chipster   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

McCain really stepped in it when he picked this half-baked Alaskan. She defies logic and continues to repeat statements that have long since been proven false. It would be quite comical except for the fear and hatred that she incites in the uninformed electorate.

Theresa - Minneapolis   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

She's something else, alright…

irishspacemonk   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

What a bimbo. My plans are going to be – I hope to never hear a comment by this woman again after the election.

Schneider (I) - CA   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

OMG…this woman is like a walking, talking, winking Onion article. You just can't believe that its real. Actually, with her abuse of power, inability to actually tell the truth, insistence that dinosaurs and people roamed the Earth together, and general incoherence, she is the perfect Republican.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

Palin and McCain talk about Americans needing jobs but on the other hand Palin "proudly" admits that she has the right to fire anybody in her position as governor. Think about, the man was fired because he wouldn't fire her ex-brother in-law, DO YOU THINK THAT PALIN IS CONCERNED ABOUT MAKING SURE EVERY AMERICAN HAS A JOB. (READ THE TRANSCRIPT)

tulsa   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

The report states that you broke ethics laws.

Spin that.

Coda   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

I may vote for McCain/Palin just so if I have kids they can learn about the hilarity of creationism in school

MikeH   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

Sarah can look the camera in the eye and say the Alaska Legislature exonerated her of any violation of law or of committing any unethical acts, while the the opposite is plainly on the record.

Sarah Palin tells lies like a mentally-ill person, like a sociopath, that should be the #1 concern of people.

Chip   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

Why are the left leaning super tolerant folks on here posting nothing but vitriol toward this woman? Aren't you the same people that say SHE should tone down people's remarks at rallies, but turn right around and wish the worst upon her?

To find a huge hypocrite, most only need look in the mirror.

Oh, and here's a clue, if while typing you look up and see a little red line under the word you've just typed, chances are it is spelled wrong. Oops, I forgot, most of you good libs are "colorblind."

Palin is soooo busted!   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

Palin is disgusting.

Deb   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

The only other character missing from the interview was Sean Hannity. These three would have been some nauseating program to listen to.

Bev   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

If I were Palin, I would think about my political career as she will need one. The repugs should be closely monitored for voter fraud as this is the only way they can steal the electionsl Lou Doubbs, the Conservative but self proclaimed "Mr not so Independent" is having a field day with Acorn and he is just blasting away at Obama. The first one Omaba presidency should shut down after elections. This man treats his guests very disrespectful especially if they are democrats. Why CNN give this overbloated idiot his own anti-Obama platform, puzzles me.

McHoover Will Destroy What is Left of America   October 14th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

After Alaska gets done investigating this corrupt, unethical woman she will be flipping Moose Burgers and the nearest McMoose.

HerbTee   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

Once the Alaskan citizens are through with her and the "First Dude", Moose Barbie Palin won't even qualify to be voted dogcatcher in Alaska or anywhere!

TAINOPOWER   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

800.000.00 that obama campaign gave to Acorn it was to make sure that he wins the election in any way possible lie, chit and still obama is corrupted. will be the most corrupted politician in the white house in history if he wins .

Marie   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

And this comes from someone who abused her power.Maybe she and Mccain is behind Acorn.Remember when people where getting those calls from McCain's campaign pretending to be from Obama's campaign this looks like the same snakes crawling againback from under the rocks.Just shut up Palin because McCain have had ties with Acorn hisself and you'v'e been in Alaska abusing your power

A Real American   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

Palin is crazy she care more for Alaska then her child!

She flew over 8 hours back to Alaska to ensure that her child would be a native born Alaskan! That is why he has down syndrome! 8 hours of flight and 45 min. drive to an Alaskan hospital!

Wise White Guy   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

Nada! Well maybe in some of those redneck states. She might be the smartest one in the whole place then. Just put out a questionaire Is honesty important to you?…..no….CHECK. Do you believe wolves should be slaughtered from airplanes?…..yes…CHECK. Do you think that someone in public office should have a clue?…no….CHECK. IF a politician is found to have done unethical things would you care if she turned around and repeatedly said she was cleared of all wrong doing?….no…..CHECK MATE. You found your place. Not in my backyard!

Sylvia, Dallas,GA   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

Palin has a lot of secrets and the Media needs to start covering them so that the American people can get the truth.

Palin owes back taxes. Did not report all of her income.

Collected pier diem while staying at home.

Spoke on behalf of independent seperatist group. Wants to seperate Alaska from the US

Kay-Proud of Palin   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

TROOPERGATE! GUILTY OF ETHICS VIOLATION! GUILTY!

**NICE HOME THE ARENA CONTRACTORS BUILT THE PALINS

Wes   October 14th, 2008 4:36 pm ET

Leave it to Rush to get the facts straight and for Palin even being aware enough to distinguish, it ISN'T voter fraud, these has been no vote yet. What they mean and either consciously or unconsciously mean is voter REGISTRATION fraud. There is a big difference.

I'm coming to believe this was perpetrated by RNC/Palin-McCain plants just so the would have an "issue" to bring up. Sound crazy? Maybe, but I certainly wouldn't put it past the RNC/Palin-McCain campaign at this point. Not after reading McCain's voodoo economics speech.

Janet - Missouri   October 14th, 2008 4:35 pm ET

Gidget should go back to Alaska and try to salvage her governorship and focus on her baby.

ALASKA1ST   October 14th, 2008 4:35 pm ET

I'd agree. Governor Palin, don't give up your day job. Your future seems squarely aimed at your past – Governor of Alaska.

the acorn fraud isn't all
the acorn fraud isn't all Dem's problem! My cousin in Ohio says Republicans poseing as Dem's are getting acorn regestry papers and even signing up dead people to make it look like Dem's are to blame for the fraud! Remember Rush on the radio telling Repug to sign up for Dem for caucus to get Hillary in? Well there you have it again. It might work to give Mccain a come back!

Anything posed to Palin is "A good question"

We await the Good Answer

BO08

CJ   October 14th, 2008 4:35 pm ET

My question for Ms. Sarah Palin is this, "With evidence showing you have experienced an abuse of power in Alaska, ethics violations, and have referred to Obama as a terrorist along with the other horrifying accusations you and the GOP campaign are supporting, how on this earth would you ever expect to gain the trust and votes of the American people with all of the deceit you have shown?"

Feature87   October 14th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

I just hope she will go back to Alaska and shut up…we need real women that are smart and know answers to questions…cuz she is pathetic!!!

John, Austin TX   October 14th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

She is so annoying!!
I think the poll in Alaska is getting closer. I would love Alaska to go blue. And I hope her constituents ask for her resignation.

Palin is a Patriot Act   October 14th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

someone please tell her to SHUT UP

A Boston   October 14th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

The Obama campaign is doing the right thing by not even acknowledging her.

OBAMA/BIDEN 08

Oh Boy!!!???   October 14th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

For Shame, indeed.

Statements like "I have done nothing wrong in firing my cabinet member" may be true, but the findings of violating ethics for trying to fire your brother-in-law is still a fact.

Telling the truth about a different fact does not erase the lie for another.

Ross in MD   October 14th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

As Joe Biden would say, God love her but she's totally unqualified for the job.

Dee must be from the south.   October 14th, 2008 4:33 pm ET

Dee you must be from the south because when I read your comment, I thought that's something my mom would say about someone so ignorant. I love that comment.

Also, talking about being honest and upfront Palin has some nerve given the abuse of power she was found guilty of. She and Limbaugh are a perfect pair.

Joyce in Florida   October 14th, 2008 4:33 pm ET

Yes, Governor Palin, you will be thinking about November 4th after you and McCain lose this election. You are not qualified for V.P. You have problems of your own in Alaska. Do you think that most Americans are dumb enough to vote for another 4 years of the same? NO WAY!!!! Just please shut up and go home. Your political career is almost over. This Democrat is voting for "that one". OBAMA/BIDEN 08!!!!!!!!!!

Evan   October 14th, 2008 4:33 pm ET

Note to Sarah, Obama already said he doesn't need ACORN's help. SO now what? Go back to Alaska where it seems like you are just like the other governors there. Pretty funny how a Republican dominated congress there and a basically Republican dominated investigation nailed you for ethics violation.

Ken in Dallas   October 14th, 2008 4:33 pm ET

If Palin's this overwrought over ACORN, we better get to digging up the election fraud story she's trying to bury. She never says anything without a purpose. If she's accusing someone else of wrongdoing, she's usually speaking from experience.

Jim from Middletown, CT   October 14th, 2008 4:33 pm ET

Three more weeks and Gov. Pinhead goes back to Alaska and, hopefully, oblivion.

Her future is to return to Alaska and answer the awaiting civil suit. Her political career has run it's course. Her 15 minutes of fame are just about over.

Sharry   October 14th, 2008 4:32 pm ET

Palin has killed any kind of political future she may want. I don't think the people of Alaska are stupid enough to vote her in as Gov. again. The people were fooled once, but they're smart enough not to be fooled again.

Palin should be glad she's not going to jail.

tulsa   October 14th, 2008 4:32 pm ET

Nola   October 14th, 2008 4:31 pm ET

Palin is a sick puppy that will do anything to win – lie, cheat, and steal.

Cynthia; Bham   October 14th, 2008 4:31 pm ET

LOL

And the answer is : "Right Back In Alaska!"

Vincent, Great Lakes, IL   October 14th, 2008 4:31 pm ET

What a fine governer she is. Even when she does wrong and is found out she still has the audacity to think she is above the law.

Palin's first try at statewide office, after six years as mayor of Wasilla, was an unsuccessful run for lieutenant governor in 2002. To raise money, she improperly used her City Hall office and equipment, city records show. A year later she would make headlines by blasting a fellow Republican for, among other things, improperly using his government position to boost his campaign.

I wouldn't want my daughter to be like her OR her daughter.

She's a fraud. McCain's judgment is in the toilet and has been flushed.

Obama for president   October 14th, 2008 4:30 pm ET

Frank G in Deerfield, IL.   October 14th, 2008 4:30 pm ET

When you have nothing to say you say anything. The McCain/Palin ticket is a horrific representation of one of our major American political parties. Reading off of note cards, winking and unbecoming personal attack behavior is not going to do it. Decency is apparently not fundamental to the fundamentalists.

DebM, Allentown, PA   October 14th, 2008 4:29 pm ET

The Palin rally in Scranton once again had someone in the crowd yell "kill him" in regard to Obama. And once again, this evil woman who pretends to be a Christian did absolutely nothing.

She should crawl back into the hole out of which she crawled.

Your dirty politics are not helping any

Your abuse of power will come back to haunt you.

Greed is not good   October 14th, 2008 4:29 pm ET

Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin belong together in their own island in Alaska connected by a bridge to nowhere. Go ahead and pitch your hate to your lunatic fringe but it won't solve any problems, nor win any elections.

Chris from STL   October 14th, 2008 4:29 pm ET

Lady … It is not "voter fraud" …. it is the 'voter registration" … there is a big difference! ACORN would not be involved in "voter fraud' because it is the responsibility of the election commission, not ACORN.

Winnie Hussein . . . in Montana   October 14th, 2008 4:28 pm ET

How would she know if the media is covering, or covering up, any news story? She doesn't even read the paper! I'm not absolutely positive she can read, anyway. She says the Troopergate report vindicated her and it clearly does not.

Kate   October 14th, 2008 4:28 pm ET

Why don't you worry about 'reigning' in your facist supporters, Sarah dear? And after you're done, catch the next plane back to Alaska because you are DONE.

Enlightened Voter   October 14th, 2008 4:28 pm ET

limbaugh and paliar, a match made in heaven. On november 5th Palin will be back in alaska facing a petition by the people of alaska to remove her from office. This is actually going on now. Her and john will face a crushing defeat, no less than what they deserve and I can't wait. She is the most hateful, unchristian, clueless, pathological, poor excuse for a woman that i have ever seen.

Dave   October 14th, 2008 4:28 pm ET

She's going to be lucky to keep her governorship in Alaska, now that the nation's gotten a good look at what a scary, unqualified, corrupt fool she is. McCain did a cruel, cruel thing putting her in the spotlight.
