Biden was arrested during college for entering an all women's dormitory.

ATHENS, Ohio (CNN) – Speaking to supporters near Ohio University's campus, Joe Biden said it was good to be back in Athens after visiting for a football game over 40 years ago. This time, however, chances are he’ll leave without getting arrested.

“I went to the University of Delaware and we came out here to play Ohio University,” said Biden. “The thing I loved about the university was that it was such a beautiful town and we all hung around out afterwards.”

“Now I made a little mistake here that day, I made a little mistake. I wandered in, I met this lovely group of Ohio University students,” he said to cheers from the crowd. “I thought that we were gonna go get something to eat.”

Biden recalled the two “young women I had met” told him they’d be right back. “I said well I’ll come with you, and they said okay, and I walked into their dormitory and was immediately accosted by a cop who arrested me because back in those days men were not allowed in women’s dormitories.”

“But I promise you I never breached the first floor and it was only a temporary detention. But that’s what I most remember about Athens. So folks look, it’s good to be back here.”

I am not voting for the McCain/Palin ticket, but I feel that McCain did the right thing by choosing Palin. Palin held the ground and propelled McCain to where he is now. Unfortunately, McCain did not carry his own weight. He made a BIG mistake when he acted un-presidential when the economy tanked.

Palin helped advance his cause, but he did not have the vision to move his campaign forward, to secure the independents.

Obama, what can I say about the man that beat my idol, Hillary. If the economy did not crash, Obama would have lost this election. Sorry, Hillary, perhaps, 2016. Your mother lived to be 90 years old. I guess you can be the female Reagan :)

issue #1 ; Bush and Saudi Arabia have close ties.
issue #2 ; The USA gets most of its oil from OPEC. at a discount.
issue #3 ; Obama says he will leave Iraq if elected.
issue # 4 , Where will Obama get his oil?

jimmy you moron   October 15th, 2008 4:07 pm ET

why are you still talking about this.... let's be logical. Do you really think that dead people showed up with their id and voted? do you think a homeless guy took cigs to register and then came back later and voted? You are seriously stupid. who cares if people were registered that don't exist, THEY CAN'T VOTE!!! Good lord, you are a shining example of why we need to focus on education. The GOP base is either ignorant trash or old racists. I don't know to many people with college educations buying into your propeganda. What IS real is legitimate people not being able to vote because of republican red tape.

The Middle East has much to learn and grow. The culture is backward. When any extremists take over, we stand to LOSE if Israel isnt around to help us. Israel shares our values and it's a good friend to have.

Are you better off married to a girl that shares your values or to a girl who is the total opposite of you? When you need help, which girl will help you?

Palin says she can see Russia from her home. She failed to see what really mattered i.e. she could not see Russians coming to her home. LOL.

Then she says she is a champion of energy problems and did not know of this energy deal . LOL, LOL, LOL

Matt Z.   October 15th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

Just a regular Joe, and I mean that in the very best sense. He's an open book, even if that openness ends up making him look-on occasion- a little foolish. It's his honesty and willingness to show his true colors and emotions that resonates the most with me. We're all flawed, but where Palin will do and say anything to hide her flaws, Joe B. tells it like it is and lets the chips fall where they may. When you're talking about whether or not someone is qualified to fill the second highest office in the land, I think honesty is a pretty important yardstick by which to measure a person by. Joe measures up and Palin doesn't – end of story.

Hey Marie-Ohio:

If you could care less about what Biden did 40 years ago, then why so much fuss about a guy Obama met 40 years ago when he was like 8 years old? Oh, I get it, whatever is politically expedient.

Joe Biden has been beating up on his "friend" McCain.
He is trying to say that McCain is not an honorable man by not looking Obama straight in the eye when critisizing him. I hope McCain will do that tonight and zap it to Obama.
Will Biden look McCain straight in the eye when he sees him again?
Biden was rejected by the people. He only recieved 0.9% votes so he dropped out. He shouldn't dare to compare himself to McCain, who is a very decent man.

Please post this issue that no one seems to address:

Sarah Palin is quite the character. She is worst than I thought. What or who is she suppose to reform? She is as polluted, if not more, than the ones she ran against. She fired a man who refused to fire her former brother-in-law. Yet, she was justified in doing so. This is Dick Cheney in a dress. No wonder she agrees with Cheney's perception of the executive branch. Do whatever to whomever whenever and get away with it.

AA   October 15th, 2008 3:42 pm ET

The conservatives are giving Hilary Clinton what she wants. A democratic president. Her and Obama planned up this scheme to win the whitehouse a long time ago. An Obama win is a Clinton win. The same old liberal politics that most republican voters don't agree with.
There is no difference between Clinton, Obama & Kerry. There are all weak liberals .

Noah   October 15th, 2008 3:31 pm ET

HERE IS A QUESTION FOR OBAMA'S LEMMING SUPPORTERS:

The Obama campaign has already begun distancing themselves from Jesse Jackson's observations. Just as they've distanced themselves from Obama's life-long spiritual mentor Rev. Wright; his radical-education ally Bill Ayers; his paid campaign workers at ACORN; his finance policy advisor Austan Goolsbee after he was caught telling Canada to ignore Sen. Obama's statements on NAFTA; his own racist grandmother; etc., etc.

Sen. Obama may be the most inspiring public speaker since Dr. King, but he's not much in the "loyal friend" department. Why is it that the people who know Sen. Obama best, understand (according to his current denials) him least?

alda   October 15th, 2008 3:30 pm ET

Biden was arrested but Obama should have been when he was getting his "blow" as he likes to call it. How will Obama pay for all his ridiculously expensive programs by raising the taxes on the so called "rich." The rich people will go to other countries or just buy munis and the poor folks will have their cell phones and water bottles and nothing else. I guess the government can print some money for them and we can always pay it back later! Ha!

Does he not know what freedom of speech is ?

Thats' the same right Frarrakhan, Wright , Aiyers have been enjoying for decades in America. Obama and Biden were not scared of these radicals making disgusting statements about America.

ACORN could have done the same thing in the Primaries as they are accused ot doing now....namely fraudulent voter registration , using felons and paying people to get and pay unknown (even dead people) homeless people to register to vote. there were thousands fo fraudulent registrations in Indiana. and there is a nationwide FBI investigation on possible widespread voter registrations.

CNN, I just want to thank you for publishing this. Although it has no impact on the election I think these are the type of stories that are perfect for the political ticker. Don't listen to all of these people who blast your organization for putting out information. Please fill the political ticker with as many stories as you can put out, it allows all of us political junkies to get constant fixes.

OU Grad   October 15th, 2008 3:19 pm ET

I went to Ohio U in Athens and this story is true of so many famous, and otherwise not famous, people. Being "arrested" means you get a $40 ticket and then released. Athens, Ohio does not have a big budget and these tickets generate a good chuck of revenue. I was "arrested" in 2001 for jay-walking in uptown. $40 check to the City of Athens comin up..

I'm a Canadian as you can see. Very Canadian I might add, However, I have been following the U.S. campaigning fairly close. I believe Obama made a great choice in picking Joe Biden as his running mate. There is no comparison between him and Palin he is a way above her. I hope the Obama/Biden team keeps ahead and wins the election with a strong vote.

Actually I Wanted to make another comment but couldn't find an appropriate spot. These remarks that candidates come out with that turn out tobe untrue and even after this is proven they continue to keep spouting them. What gives, are they uninformed or just unrepented liars? It stuns me!

Joe Biden knows when to be serious and when to be light hearted, which makes him a great politician. Sara Palin, on the other hand, makes a fool of herself even when she's trying to be serious.

Bruce   October 15th, 2008 2:55 pm ET

There is too much talk about who knew who when, and not enough talk about how to get the economy on track.

Moderate this CNN.

Is it true that the McCain campaign is suing CNN to keep a story about Todd Palin's un-American activities off the air.

America needs to know that the potential vice-president will be sleeping with a secessionist. All the other blogs are putting CNN on blast about this. Maddow has done a story on this already. What's up with that?

Shame on CNN. Afraid to tell America the truth. Oh, I get it. CNN wants to televise the debate. Ratings, right. Is McCain that powerful that he's controlling the gotcha media?

johnrj08   October 15th, 2008 2:53 pm ET

Now, imagine if Sarah Palin had been telling this story: "Well, I never walked in those boy's dormitory who I met after that football game. And I was never detained by any police officers. I won't even consider a vote for McCain / Palin. If Palin can't even submit to media interviews, she doesn't deserve my vote. A trained monkey can read a rally speech – heck, even bush could do it!! Nope, without exposure and questioning by the media, I wouldn't even consider her. I've spent more time interviewing my pool contractor than we've seen from ms palin. No, appearances on fox don't count – I'm talking real media interviews.

He's honest? What a joke–he's an admitted plagirist. The problem with Dems is they can't speak the truth. The Democratic Congress got elected by making empty promises and now they want to blame everyone else. Jackson says Israel will suffer if Obama is elected and the Dems want to blame that comment on McCain! Facing responsibility and being truthful are virtues that the Dems and their candidates don't seem to understand. How scary.

Acorn, a national conspiracy by a group who receives over 40% funding from government sources, and who is now registering people unlawfully. How many times for one fellow – 73??

Who is Obama, anyway?

I'm okay with that Joe, we all have done stupid stuff while we were young, like cheat on our wives after they waited for us for six years while we were POW's only to leave our wife for a rich blonde half our age, while the wife was recovering from a horrible accident and we tried to ban books in Alaska regarding sex education as the Nazi's tried to ban books from thier libraies before WWII, Yes, we have done some dumb things. At least Joe is honest! Can't say the same about McCain/Palin. He never had extra-marital affairs.

Kyle in San Diego, CA   October 15th, 2008 1:52 pm ET

Why do people make comments on articles saying, "this isn't news... non-issue... etc etc etc"??? If you don't think it's an issue, stop reading, and definitely don't comment!

It's a funny story! Most of us don't get to hear everything that's said at a rally. Just take it for what it's worth people, and move on. Regardless, Biden is going to be one of the grestest VPs in history.

Raymond Duke   October 15th, 2008 1:48 pm ET

Good ole Joe . He is kind of like his running mate. He never did anything wrong . It was just a miscomunication or misunderstanding . It was never his fault. Prisons are full of these type of people who are really innocent. I hope michigan carrys through with its prosecution of that acorn guy who registered 6 times. Each charge carries a max of fourteen years. They should give him the 84 years, then fine Acorn 100 million dollars and throw some of their leaders in jail for about 50 years and quite giving them federal taxpayer dollars. Let Obama pay for the crooks like he already has done with 800,000. What a slimeball.

Ron from Baltimore   October 15th, 2008 1:47 pm ET

Well, well. Obama came clean in his book. We'd still like to hear a bit more detail from both McCain and Palin, wouldn't we?

Sue   October 15th, 2008 1:47 pm ET

Funny-I was on the OU campus for a Journalism Workshop about 1970 and remember all the head shops downtown. That was the first time I smelled marijuana. But it IS a pretty area.

Go Joe!

Anita of georgia   October 15th, 2008 1:46 pm ET

That why Joe Biden is so likable, he is a honest, trustworthy person. He isn't like McCain. McCain need to loosen up. He walk around like he's been sucking on lemons all day. And Sarah Palin act as if she,s confused. Talking yesterday at a Rallies. Sarah Palin thought their own supporters were protester screaming against her. Her brain is fryed. She is such a loser.

Nowhere Man   October 15th, 2008 1:45 pm ET

Another tall tale, like FDR being on TV? He's lying. Never happened. He's like Hillary with her sniper fire. He will say anything in the moment to ingratiate himself to his audience. It's hard to imagine, but he is actually a bigger idiot than Odumbo. And those two may run the country? President Dumb, and Vice President Dumber. May God help us!

Cynthia; Bham   October 15th, 2008 1:42 pm ET

Let's hope Senator McCain and Gov Palin don't try and make an issue out of this. Everything Senator Obama has ever been around has become an issue for them to use. Next thing you know, he might shake somebody's hand and they make an issue out of it. McCain & Palin both tend to forget that they have some real skeletons in their closets – and Palin's are just beginning to come to light.

Preco, NY   October 15th, 2008 1:41 pm ET

Nice diversion, iinteresting and funny.

We all recall things like these that reminds us we are human and regular. Not some condecending " joe six pack" references al sister Sarah Palin.

Keep the good work Joe Biden.

God bless America,

barbara   October 15th, 2008 1:40 pm ET

I attended a Joe Biden rally in Ohio on Tuesday. What a wonderful VP he will be!!

Steve from Florida   October 15th, 2008 1:36 pm ET

Foot in Mouth Disease strikes Joe again!

Obama better distance himself from Jesse Jackson real fast or he will lose the Florida vote big time!!! Jackson is a real problem for Barack!

Suem   October 15th, 2008 1:34 pm ET

A little humor is great.......because if McCain loses tonight believe me it is going to get uglier than it has been in the last few weeks........McCain and Palin will stop at nothing to try to ruin Obama in anyway that they can, because that is all they have left..........unless he would pull a Wild Hail Mary and drop Palin off the ticket and pick up someone the Republicans will support and try to turn it around in his favor......

Obama all the way....   October 15th, 2008 1:34 pm ET

God, I love that Joe Biden. He speaks his mind, but at least he speaks with some form of intelligence. An shows that he comprehends English.

Did you hear Sarah Palin on Blowhard Rush's show yesterday. (I don't listen- ther was a clip on CNN)

I swear she sounds like a dumb valley girl teenager when she talks. She told Rush "Dittos from Scranton" when Rush said hello to her.

What the hell does that mean? Ditto's????

Do we really want the next VP candidate to sound like a dumb valley girl? Like, like...dittos Rush. Where the party- ditzbag??

carol   October 15th, 2008 1:32 pm ET

That's OK Joe you were a young man then.....but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't turned around by the McCain campaign saying you did this "yesterday" (smile).
Joe is such a nice aimable man and gets on well with people and it's nice to have some humour after these nasty attacks coming from the McCain camp.
We can't wait to see Sen Obama and Sen Biden win this election in Nov and put this country back together again......it can't come quick enough!!!

MLH   October 15th, 2008 1:32 pm ET

These Vice Prez candidates are just so cute! One has a story to tell about a college incident, and the other one doesn't know there is a Russian energy meeting in the state that she governs.

Regan Republican   October 15th, 2008 1:31 pm ET

She is a total fool! And anyone who votes for this fool is the biggest fool of all! I dont care if she shares your conservative values or not, If I were a conservative I would be ashamed of my party for choosing this big dummy as a VP! I blame my own party for this melt down! I am a REGAN conservative but I will not vote for that ticket! I will either not vote at all or for Obama (hoping he falls on his face in 4 years) Maybe we can get a Bobby Jindal or someone else, but in my heart I love my country too much to put it at risk just to win this election by putting a total idiot one heartbeat away from the highest office in the land!

Conservative and MAD!!

SoCal   October 15th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

Go listen to Michelle speaking right now... she's great!

Spider   October 15th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

Jerry Atrick-

Where did we hear that newsworthy statement? It was released by her campaign staff. The people who are trying to get her elected. Why would they release a statement like that if it was such world changing news? These meetings happen all the time. Alaska is an energy rich state. The governor is not even invited.

Tim   October 15th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

So Winnie. Are you saying that it is acceptable to have an affair as long as it is with a woman? Sure sound like it to me. Libs have a tendency to downplay items that may be morally deficient when one of their beloved candidates is the subject.

Be fair. An affair is an affair.

Surrealist   October 15th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

Let's not forget–that his college days were before my High School days–and I'm 53!!!

How can someone who has been part of the Wahsington disease since 1972–seriously be considered as part of the cure?

Tim   October 15th, 2008 1:25 pm ET

So he chose to enter the women's dormitory after having knowledge that it was not acceptable to do so? I am not sure that is so innocent. Joe Biden recalls this 40 years later? Is this a case of a dirty old man remembering his youthful vigor with multiple women?

Pretty sad how I just spun that into a bunch of nonsensical and unproven crap huh? That is what is happening daily with the MSM covering the campaigns. Use your heads people. Just because the AP, CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc report it, doesn't make it 100% true. Do the research yourselves and vote for what you believe in on Nov. 4th.

Vote in 2008!

laura   October 15th, 2008 1:23 pm ET

Funny. Just a regular person.

Steve   October 15th, 2008 1:23 pm ET

Well, Joe, I had a similar situation in my college days. I made it above the first floor, and was hidden in a room by one of the co-eds. Managed to not get arrested. Obviously I should be on your staff when you become VP. I could teach you a few things about dealing with authority. Give me a call....haha!

If you were arrested in Ohio, they must've known you were a future Democrat.

Jessica   October 15th, 2008 1:22 pm ET

I mean, I like hearing cute tidbits about Joe Biden, but I read this ticker for the news. If I want to hear cute tidbits, I'll go read ontd_political on livejournal.

Kevin   October 15th, 2008 1:22 pm ET

Hey LIP,

Since you feel like talking about Mahoney, did you know the DLC (moderate/right wing of the Democratic Party) recruited Mahoney to leave the Republican Party and run as a Democratic Candidate to take Foley's seat?

Thats right, Mahoney was a Republican until 2005...when opportunity came knocking. Your party is ridiculous.

Catholic-mom-4-OBAMA   October 15th, 2008 1:22 pm ET

*******CNN PLEASE POST**********************************************

WHY IS CNN NOT INVESTIGATING THE PALIN MEMBERSHIP IN THE ALASKA INDEPENDENT PARTY?

NOR SPEAKING ABOUT THE ISSUE...... OF PALIN'S ABUSE OF POWER?

NOR REPORTING ON THE VICIOUS CALLS TO "KILL HIM" AT THE PALIN RALLY IN SCRANTON YESTERDAY?

OUR NATION IS BEING LIED TO BY THE REPUBLICAN-HATE-FEAR-AND-LIE MACHINE AND THE MEDIA IS ........SILENT!

MD, TX   October 15th, 2008 1:22 pm ET

And how is this relevant to anything?

TyWebb   October 15th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

Hey, Steven, lighten up!

Independent in Albany   October 15th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

So LIP, you're actually comparing an affair to pedophilia??!! Mahoney may be wrong, but Foley is a total perv!!

Let's put Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin in the ring and let 'em duke it out, catfight style.

WOW CNN This is news? Thanks for the little blurb about the US killing Al Qaeda's #2. Good to know your in OBama's back pocket. At least we know Madonna is getting divorced, right?

White Christian Mother for Obama   October 15th, 2008 1:19 pm ET

LOL that is funny....

TyWebb   October 15th, 2008 1:19 pm ET

Gotta lighten the mood, a little. Biden rocks! Maybe Sean Hannity will talk about this now for the next week.

Amy   October 15th, 2008 1:19 pm ET

Too funny!

I think it's great that he has a sense of humor about it. He's very easy to relate to. I don't think that he gets enough credit for that.

Dallas, TX   October 15th, 2008 1:19 pm ET

Who cares about this old man...this is not news!

Dee   October 15th, 2008 1:19 pm ET

I guess only those that went to college would appreciate a nice light humored story and those that didn't go to college will only find fault that Joe is looking old...regardless of how he looks he will NEVER be older than McCain...and that's A FACT!!!!

Ryan   October 15th, 2008 1:18 pm ET

Wow... that is a great story. That Joe Biden, what a character, what a stud, what a normal guy, what a down to earth silly kind of guy, so honest, so humorous... what a joke.

Christine CT   October 15th, 2008 1:18 pm ET

LIP
You may want to discuss extramarital affairs with your Mr. McCain. Far more fascinating topic for the man who wants to be top dog.

Mike   October 15th, 2008 1:18 pm ET

This is for the McCain camp that is posting on CNN....Get a real job and stop trying to block the issues that matter. We are wise that you Morons are posting here.Oh and by the way when this thing is over you Will be JOBLESS unless you kiss enough butt and ask to sweep the floor when we are done with you.

bill canada   October 15th, 2008 1:18 pm ET

Does Joe have a story on where the USA is going to get it's oil after he takes the troops out of Iraq? HOPE YOU GUYS ARE ALREADY BUILDING NEW WINDMILLS.

Brad   October 15th, 2008 1:18 pm ET

Oh my God. lol. College memories are the best. :-)

Susan in Delaware   October 15th, 2008 1:17 pm ET

As a coed at OU in the sxties, I remember the ban against men in the dorm., but in the 4 yrs I spent there, I never once remember there being a policeman or any other cop-type hanging around to take violators into custody. Are you sure about this, Joe?

Danny from Phoenix   October 15th, 2008 1:16 pm ET

Haha. I love it. We've all done crazy things during college. Joe's just reflects what most young American students go through – small mishaps at universities. However, when Palin takes five colleges to graduate with one of the easiest degrees in our education system, that's a call for concern.

Dee   October 15th, 2008 1:16 pm ET

Biden has a wonderful sense of humour!!
Im sure hed be more then upset if he heard this crap on talk radio.
Things are really going to far now! Huff post reports on Rush Limbaughs recent radio commentary on blacks. It is so blatantly rascist and ties Obama & all blacks to militancy ...if the media doesnt finally take a strong stand on this horrible rhetoric then it is being totally irresponsible. If this type of broadcast isnt inciting violence against blacks then nothing is! Free speech is one thing...promoting hatred is another!!

Christine CT   October 15th, 2008 1:15 pm ET

I love this guy!

josh   October 15th, 2008 1:15 pm ET

Here is the 'Real Change' that Obama is talking about. Should we pull out of Chicago ? Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago ? Body count: In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago 221 killed in Iraq . Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Gov. Rod Blogojevich, House leader Mike Madigan, Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike), Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley) Guess what ALL our leadership in Illinois ......all Democrats. Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago . Of course, they're all blaming each other. Can't blame Republicans; they're aren't any! State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country. Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look 'em up if You want). Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country. This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois . And he's gonna 'fix' Washington politics for us!!!???? SURE!!!!!

Spencer/Commonwealth of Virginia   October 15th, 2008 1:14 pm ET

22 years ago. What relevance does that have to do with the present state of the economy. What about Palin's ABUSE OF POWER. That was last week!!!

Ex-Republican for Obama   October 15th, 2008 1:14 pm ET

The Jesse Jackson story has been debunked. Both Obama and Jesse explained it quite well and put it effectively to rest. It basically boils down to McCain grasping at straws.

But now is McCain's turn to debunk something:

McCain, did you really give sensitive information to the enemy and did you really help them make 32 propoganda films, when you were a POW? And since you have a record of treason, what would stop you from committing treason on against the USA again?

Connie   October 15th, 2008 1:14 pm ET

LIP,

There is a difference between "looking old" (Biden is in his sixties) and being a crazy old man (see John McCain).

Binden   October 15th, 2008 1:11 pm ET

I like this guy Biden will make a very good V.P. With Obama/Biden admistration this country with hear to the right direction. Bill Clinton cleaned Bush1's Mess now obama is going to cleand Bush2's mess. Please American do not Vote for Bush's anymore or ang GOP for that matter enough is enough.

That's nothin'! Sarah Palin was thrown out of 4 colleges in 4 years before finally getting her fluff B.A. at the fifth!

bruja   October 15th, 2008 1:10 pm ET

Steven: You know, it is not about looks.... It is about the ECONOMY !
And maybe a little bit about the russian visit in Alaska (you know, Sarah was not aware??), maybe a little bit about the war in Irak?
BUT NOT ABOUT JOE'S FOREHEAD AND BOTOX

Jeffrey   October 15th, 2008 1:10 pm ET

At least he's not covering anything up, or is smart enough to recognize when he does something wrong. It's not like he committed several ethics violations, then pronounce his innocence despite a public report to the contrary.

Lately Joe Biden is the straight-talk express.

Haas   October 15th, 2008 1:10 pm ET

This guy is so cool. Let me repeat...COOL!!!!

LIP   October 15th, 2008 1:09 pm ET

Is it my imagination, or is Biden looking "old"? Why don't some of these liberal bloggers who are constantly chastising McCain about age, notice how old Biden is looking. Perhaps their vision is clouded by their liberal notions. Hair plugs, eyes redone and forehead wrinkles removed. What next?

MikeH   October 15th, 2008 1:07 pm ET

Biden's arrest is proof he's not fit to be Vice President.

(I'm just pretending to be a Republican Looney-tune Ticker Troll here)

When I was at college, things were a bit different in the dormitories than what Biden describes.

Winnie Hussein . . . in Montana   October 15th, 2008 1:06 pm ET

Hey, at least this is innocent! And as far as affairs in Florida and elsewhere, why do Republicans always seem to have affairs with men, or children?

Sarah   October 15th, 2008 1:06 pm ET

Hey Sarah Joe has stories to tell about his college years in school do you?

ines   October 15th, 2008 1:06 pm ET

Joe's sense of humor runs to his core. Love this guy!

Terry   October 15th, 2008 1:06 pm ET

Well, Biden did better than George "W" !

Red   October 15th, 2008 1:06 pm ET

Informative article.... but what about Timmons, the guy in the McCain campaign who lobbied for Saddam AFTER the Gulf War?

SoCal   October 15th, 2008 1:05 pm ET

If this is an item of political conversation, then let's talk about how many times McCain got into trouble while at the Naval Acadamy.

KJL   October 15th, 2008 1:04 pm ET

Hardly an arrest, I'd say. The National Enquirer is no doubt searching for those ladies right now.

Jerry Atrick   October 15th, 2008 1:04 pm ET

LOL! I thought it was something like busting into the ladies room. Oh, Joe – those were the days of a young man! More importantly, Palin is unaware of Russin oil meeting in Alaska – that's news!

Steven   October 15th, 2008 1:04 pm ET

Sounds like Botox Joe has had too many cranial injections. He is beginning to look like an Alien. Jeepers, come to think of it, this is just like the movie BodySnatchers! Just listen to the Obama crowd shreik if they see you are for McCain! Scary!

LIP   October 15th, 2008 1:02 pm ET

Those silly Democrats are so innocent. Take Tim Mahoney, the Democrat that replaced Mark Foley, Republican, who was chastised by the liberal media and quit his job in Florida and was later accquited of "all" charges. He gave his seat up to someone who ran on "very good" principles, but has now been found to have had several extramarital affairs, one while he was running for Foley's seat and Mahoney actually paid $121,000 to silence the "woman" as Bill Clinton would say.

zina   October 15th, 2008 1:02 pm ET
