I see that the Obama apologists and excuse makers are back in full force. While it is true that one cannot control what someone else says, this latest Jesse Jackson comment is just one part of a larger pattern that continues to develop in regards to Obama. We are continuing to see more and more people who are connected intimately to Obama revealing Obama's true character. This is what we conservatives have been saying all along. Obama's record is completely opposite of what he has been telling the American public. How does that make you good little Liberals feel, knowing that this man has to pretend he does not hold your beliefs in order to appeal to independent voters to win an election?

Jesse Jackson doesn't represent anybody. He has no constituents at this time. He's not a congressman, he's not a senator, he's not a governor. He's just a citizen. One who has had no Whitehouse debriefing on the present foreign policy state of affairs at this time . He certainly hasn't asked Obama any questions about Israel. Even though Barak would answer his questions if he asked. The Democratic party as a whole is not even responsible for Jesse Jackson's state of affairs in this election cycle. I wonder why this is even a news story. It seems that CNN is falling into the trap of trying to be fair by running anti-Obama stories whenever it runs one critical of McCain. Since when are Jesse Jackson's statements (just because Drudge reported them) newsworthy? Please recall the last we heard of this nutcase was when he was on national tv talking about cutting off a part of Obama's anatomy. It's pretty clear these guys are friends. McCain and his surrogates need to cut out the fake outrage, and the media has to stop getting played so obviously.

Jesse Jackson's comments hold no water & this is yet another desperate attempt by McCain to salvage his candidacy. However, point to be noted is that this is the 2nd time Jesse 'dumb' Jackson has potentially harmed Obama, 1st being his highly inappropriate comments on camera (when he thought camera was not rolling). I am beginning to feel that maybe Jesse wants to be the 1st black Prez & is internally furious @ Obama for making history. Don't know why he keeps blabbering...without much thought.

When did Jesse Jackson become a spokesman for Obama? He is a nobody who wants to castrate Obama, and now impersonates as having influence in the Obama Campaign.

The likes of Jesse Jackson should just shut their big mouths and learn from the new breed of African American leaders who, while in appreciation of the sacrifices of the generations before them, see America and the world through the prism of equality and opportunity for all, devoid of racial, cultural, cultural and national bigotry.

Jesse Jackson only needs to revist his history to learn that Jews and Africans and African Americans share an abiding commonality in their individual struggles for survival - a history that Barack Obama referenced in his "Race Speech" in Philadelphia during the primaries.
