I may be GOP but I, too, wanted the neo-con Bush impeached. Cheney, too. The neo-cons have hijacked the GOP and it no longer resembles what it stood for (time to search out a viable third party). The takeover was completed with George H.W. Bush when he ascended to the presidency. He would have never been Reagan's VP (since he disliked him) if not for the fact Reagan was strongarmed by Kissinger and Conkrite (you won't read that in a history book or the news).

Of course Trump supports McCain- he is one of the very few Americans whose interests are served by McCain's proposed tax policy. The guy is an absolutely textbook example of narcissistic personality disorder, so it's not surprising has no empathy for people who are not going to benefit from that Bush tax policies that McSame wants to continue.

I think he knows that the Republican party is morally bankrupt. I thinkhe knows that Sarah Palin is a dangerously unqualified moron. I think he knows trickle down economics is a crock, (the problem being that down is not the direction that money tends to flow, and the proof being in the fact that it has been tried many times and consistently failed to work as advertised). However, Trump is too narcissistic to care what happens to the country if there's a profit in it for him. .

It doesn't matter at this point how or why we went to war. It is a bit late for all that... The fact is now we need to win this war and securing the area and keeping terrorist at bay. I don't think you can compare McCain to Bush no more than you could compare Lincoln to Bush. I do feel Obama will make the economy worse. I do think Palin will do well but I wish the Liberals would stop this Bad Bashing and making movies about Palin and making this the fiflthiest campaign I have ever seen. I certainly think Bush/Cheney deserved impeachment and probably to be brought up on war crimes but Congress failed to act in any meaningful way. At any rate, it's all water under the bridge now. Bush/Cheney will be gone in January so might as well build a bridge and get over it. Move forward in a direction that brings back America's standing in the world, provide more focus to the backbone of America, and otherwise leave the Bush/Cheney years behind. If Trump had any brains he should realize the Pelosi congress has done nothing while its held the majority, except create more problems. Well, I did send a letter to her asking her to impeach Bush because he started a war based on lies, and the damage is substantial compared to what Clinton done. However, she is against it.
