Vile robo-calls, smearing mailers, lies out on the stump. Not a single positive policy message. A pathetic hollow campaign inciting hate and division. Thanks Senator McCain. The world is watching and this is what you are giving them as an example of American democracy.

I hope John McCain and Palin took out enough time to "hear and understand" General Colin Powell's message on Meet the Press. General Powell didn't smear McCain he just pointed out McCain's military record compared to his message to Americans and his judgement on picking Palin like many of us have.

Colin Powell said today that he was strongly for the war as well as the congress and the top people in America. So the question comes to mind, why did Obama oppose the war. What was his source of information.

He is dangerous and I don't trust him

McCain will protect our values and our country

All these polls are meaningless. It still is up to the voters and people are beginning to see what Senator Obama is really up to. I have no desire to pay taxes so others may simply stay home and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Maybe once people do research about the real Obama and not the talking head Obama, McCain will finally be in the lead. It is amazing to me that people are backing someone with so little experience and what experience he has is pretty shaky. People are lazy and will not research him and just listen to this talking head and all his promises, which go against his record. Quit being so lazy independents, and find out who the real Obama is. Nice to see Colin Powell showing his true color, and it is not red, white or blue.

It is a close race. But I really believe that more and more people are becoming engaged and paying attention. It is simply impossible to forget Obama explaining his Tax plan in the last debate, and McCain continuing to look right in the camera and lying to people as though he never heard a word Obama said.

Again, I am so tired of this Republican song, "Who are you going to believe? ME? Or your crazy old eyes and ears?" I know who I believe!

And we are experiencing more and more republicans who are deciding to believe their crazy old eyes and ears instead of McCain and Palin!

Please, fellow Ohioans, if you are not SURE, don't vote. If you have doubts about Palin, do your country the grace of not voting. Or bite the bullet and vote Obama/Biden, as I am. I voted for McCain in 2000. The situation is much different now. This is the most important election we Ohioans have decided since, well, since back in Civil War times, I suppose. I really believe our state can put the Union over and bring us, as Winston Churchill said, "once again to sunlit uplands."

John McCain could MOVE to Ohio until Election Day and never pick up another vote here.
Obama today picked up two more key Ohio endorsements - the Akron and Cleveland newspapers.
Maybe Johnny Boy can find another Joe the Plumber who:
1. isn't really a plumber
2. has a tax lein for failure to pay
3. isn't even a Joe - his name is Samuel.
Ohioans are sick of the fear-mongering, the devisiveness, the innuendo.
NO MORE McCAIN !!!!!!

The difference is McCain is struggling to shore up his base. Obama is moving closer to sealing the deal in the swing states that he needs to reclaim the White House back for the Democrats.
Hopefully Colin Powell's endorsement will add further weight to the argument that the Obama/Biden ticket is pulling away to a well deserved victory in November..

Looks like the race is getting tighter. Obama's answer to spread the wealth around was a major mistake and reveals the real Obama. The irony of Obama's wealth spreading statement is that he's the candidate that gave the least to charity. Hillary gave 10% of her incom,John McCain gave over 20% of his income to charity while Obama gave 1% and some years less than that. It makes Obama's answer about spreading the wealth around, disingenuous.

Oh boy. John, keep what is left of the popular perception of your honor and dignity intact and insist that your campaign people run an honorable campaign. They are turning off everyone except the fringe (base).

Senator McCain emphasizes he has served our Nation since he was age 17. He has served our Country for 54-55 years. We should thank and tell him it is time to retire, not due to his age, but rather his aged concepts and unbecoming campaign behavior.

I am in a Battleground state of PA, and I am voting for Obama/Biden ticket. I think that the Republican Party is really out of touch, so why don't they just hang up the hockey skates and call it a night! Sarah Palin go back to Alaska. McCain go to any of your seven houses, where alot of Americans don't have even one!
Looks like McCain is going to find Joe the non-plumber and make a lucrative deal with him to be a house boy and to repair his failing politics,

McCain is going to lose. I feel sorry for him. He should be enjoying his retirement on a nice golf course instead of running around the country wasting his time.

So John is going to see Joe. Maybe Joe should accept the gig so he can make some money to pay his taxes. The Senator should actually consider giving Joe the lucrative contract he joked about at the dinner to re-do his eight houses...

I got a letter from McCain to "my friends" in which he asked for an "emergency membership contribution" to fight against things like "surrender in Iraq." Frankly, I think it's about time we got our soldiers out of a dangerous situation that they shouldn't have been in in the first place, and I wouldn't call it surrender. They've done their job.

Not only am I not a Republican, nor a Democrat for that matter, I found it insulting that McCain would veil his personal ego trip in such a way that it sounds like he'll be doing me a favor if he wins. I don't want an angry, bitter man with an incompetent side-kick running this country.
