Not only am I not a Republican, nor a Democrat for that matter, I found it insulting that McCain would veil his personal ego trip in such a way that it sounds like he'll be doing me a favor if he wins. I got a letter from McCain to "my friends" in which he asked for an "emergency membership contribution" to fight against things like "surrender in Iraq." Frankly, I think it's about time we got our soldiers out of a dangerous situation that they shouldn't have been in in the first place, and I wouldn't call it surrender. They've done their job.

Not only am I not a Republican, nor a Democrat for that matter, I found it insulting that McCain would veil his personal ego trip in such a way that it sounds like he'll be doing me a favor if he wins. I don't want an angry, bitter man with an incompetent side-kick running this country.
