[...] That is highly unlikely. In usually safe Colorado, Indiana and Virginia, McCain has a huge fight on his hands, and Obama is even with four points of the Republican senator in a poll yesterday in McCain’s home state of Arizona. Right now, the McCain battle plan seemed to be to virtually concede the loss of Colorado, but to treat Pennsylvania – which John Kerry took in 2004 – as still being winnable by the Republicans, even though most polls currently have him ten points behind there.
I think we are seeing We, the People, waking up and realizing that we DO have to power to change Washington! All we have to do is VOTE!

Everyone I am talking to say they will vote early for Obama to avoid long lines and hopefully avoid "voter fraud".... not Democratic.... but Republican!

McCain supporters announcing that the sky is falling: Where was your economic foresight in 2000? Or 2004? If you couldn't call something as natural as a housing bubble bursting, I will get my economic predictions from another psychic.

You are starting to sound like the people stocking up on peanut butter and gasoline before Y2K. Remember how that turned out? Put down the Kool AId, dispense with the fear mongering and read what the experts endorsing each candidate are saying about their proposed plans.

This just out, McCain is moving his election campaign to a small island in the Atlantic, it is the only place still red, there are three people there and they are all Republicans, hold it, just in, they all changed to Democrats, McCain is rowing off cursing Palin in a leaky canoe and trying to act like he knows what he is doing, which he trulyu does not because he is headed for Palestine if he keeps going the way he is, but then, they could use anothermoron there too, right?

'Socialist' is an ugly word in the USA. We should deal with it.

Consider If citizen A did a great job and earned 300,000, while citizen B earns 40,000.

If I take an additional 200 from A and just give it to B, that would be socialism. But if the 200 goes instead to roads and schools and police that A needs and wants as much as B, then the only real issue is why wasn't it shared equally?

Half of it, $100 more in taxes, sinks B--his 40K barely covered living expenses, so now he's bankrupt. Can't cover the groceries, so his kids fail more at school, and who knows where that goes. Citizen A, meanwhile, has to cut his vacation from 7 days to 6. And meanwhile the roads are repaired and the firemen still have jobs, so his life is safer.

You can't get blood out of stones, out of the people at the level of the road. Joe Biden is right, it is patriotic to pay taxes because common cause is the only way that works, to keep the whole picture functioning for all.

I do it and I have always been proud of it.

I been reading alot of comments on these websites and blogs you got some really vocal pc users on here. Now about this election, we (as in some black folks) havent had a choice of of electing a "biracial candidate". so to me I have that choice and that choice is really a 2 for 1 he is half white and half black and i will take that while i can. i tried to listen to president bush and mccain but it just dont sit right with me. I heard all the issues and i'm voting on what MATTER to me. the rich should drop some of thier money they wont be broke and i understand they worked hard for it but really, what are they doing with the money??? they should give it to those in need in other countries, people that have less. and i'm tired of these pc users refering to liberal or conservative or what ever they clam to be. we should go by what we are and that is human beings. DO NOT LET THE PARTY NAME FOOL YOU.

Anyway i am truly greatful that Mrs Hillary Clinton prepared Mr. Barack Obama for this BULL CRAP that is taking place now

I read an article that said Americans believe McCain is using too much negative advertising. What? What ads? I listened to Obama speak in FL today and all he did was make fun of McCain. Who's negative here? Do people really not hear what is being said? Obama nevers says what he is going to do. He just keeps repeating negative statements about McCain. Communication skills are so important. This does not mean only speaking. It means comprehension. How are these Obama supporters not comprehending what is really being said? Cut McCain, say he's negative, but never say anything positive yourself. It appears so many people are worried about losing their jobs. You should be. I will guarantee you that with Obama's economic plan you will be losing your jobs. You will be losing your health insurance. You will be in the line for government handouts that Obama wants for everyone. Businesses will not be able to afford all his tax hikes. They will be forced to make cuts. Prices will rise. You better re-think or, for some, start thinking, about your vote. It is so important and you will be hurting.

Too bad the guy with the best message, John McCain, is unable to get noticed by independents and undecideds. We're living in an oligarchy people. Obama is outspending McCain 2-1, 3-1, even 8-1 here in VA, on misleading ads. He's well-funded by his koolaid drinking college kids and liberal elite who in no way represent the majority of America. Oh well, I'm keepin my fingers crossed for the Bradley effect.

News Flash: McCain camp now looking for a way to win without votes! The McCain camp had long been looking for ways to win without a positive platform, but as that has failed to work, the McCain camp is now considering how it can win without votes. The current options McCain opreatives are considering include election fraud (having the machines tally votes for Obama as votes for McCain) and coup.

I heard that it is very close in Arizona, McCain's home state. If they continue to campaign the way they are going, Mcain/Palin are going to lose both their home states ...

Arizona and Alaska .... please vote for for Obama/Biden.

I'm a Republican woman but knew I would be voting democrat for the first time this election and so is my hubby and my republican friends. Yesterday Colin Powell made me proud; there are many of us Republicans that are supporting Obama. But please do not get complacent, your vote is important.

What is being said by the McCain camp is they know they have lost the Presidential election and are trying to stop the damage to the Republican Congres that is already a bloodletting so McCain does not lose favor altogether with the GOP for destroying everything they have, but sorry to let them both know, they brought this on themselves and it is all over except for the fat lady singing, and she is already warming up in the aisles, get the crying towels out Republicans, you are all going to have to get a real job come Nov 4 because there will not be enough rep[ublicans left in Washington to shake a stick at and those who are there will be afraid to even open their mouths for fear of leaving soon behind their brethren, America is tired of the failed Republican policies and devisiveness and bigotry and is ready for a change, a big change that will not include the Republicans unless they wake up and make major changes as well, which we all realize is something they will never do because of arrogance, so perhaps this is the end of the GOP, could not have come to a more deserving party.

It would be wonderful is Barack could really changed things and get rid of the blue state, red state and make us what we should be the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
We have been divided too long and McCain and Palin are still working to divide us even more.

Okay so you guys are so liberal and bias. Why are you supporting a man who is a socialist? this what you want for your kids??? maybe you don't know what socialism is, when government use's power to redistribute wealth. In Totalitarian countries , USSR, China, Cuba, North Korea, it has caused widespread shortages of basic goods & services. we will have the media and corrupt democrats to thanks if obama gets in.
Hey what happened to Glenn Beck? he was the best thing CNN had to offer as far as Truth in News.

McCain, Repubs, Palin, Rove, Bush, Cheny, Rumsfield, and others all are responsible for the Obama liklihood of being the winner. A perfect storm to blow in a democratic congress and president. The right wing iditos like Russ and Fox news talking heads can't stand it, and without any integrty, are becoming pathetic. Hopefully all of this liying and demogary willl not work this time.

If, Heaven forbid, McSame pulls it off, I'd advise CNN watchers to start learning Chinese, because before 4 more years of Bush/McCain deficit spending are up, China will own the US.

Now that I think of it, McCain didn't specify _which_ country he was putting first.

CNN: Publish this! The tone is flippant but the issue is important.

If McCain earlier says he loves being the underdog, he must be delighted at this news!

I can't believe that people are so gullible as to buy into the Obama mythology that this guy gives a crap about anything except securing the keys to the Oval Office. Obama has done absoultely next to nothing to earn the White House except parade around spewings things people want to hear while placing a presidential seal on a lecturn and standing behind it! What kind of narcissist does something like this? It's all about ObaME

Is going to be figuring out how to win with 270 electoral votes.

There's a lead in the polls, but until poll numbers turn into ACTUAL numbers then you can't let up. Make sure you get out and VOTE!

CNN Dana BAsh just reported that Mccain/Palin are about to start using Jeremiah Wright as the new name to create doubt about Obama - well Mccain is Obama a Muslim , how will you tell your supporters about Wright - isn't he a Christian? What exactly is your strategy - grabbing at straws? Tell us about the real issues - we're tired of the mud slinging.

The McCain camp sent a donation request to a Russian politician. They actually asked him to contribute $5000. Maybe it's the McCain campaign that needs to be investigated for requesting illegal donations. How many have they actually accepted?

Hey Carol, you are soooo wrong. You will always pay taxes no matter who is running the show. If you make under 250K you will see a reduction in taxes. Do you get it? Go ahead keep listening to the manure coming from McCain and Palin, and you will have another 4 years to add to the last 8! The economy is a mess is largely due to Bush and no one on the late watch for this. No Babysitters while the Wall Street kids were burning down the house. So much for MCCAin cutting spending, isn't that what Bush did? So tell me Carol, are you better off now?
