Everything that comes out of this woman's mouth is a political statement. The only reason she is sorry for it is because people who live in cities where there are a lot of voters took offense.

She also says she is criticized because of her religion. It's not her religion, which is a christian religion, it's that she's not behaving very christian by stirring hate and division and we all know that actions speak louder than words.

She was reading off a prepared script, which means it was not done accidently. I don't see any difference in this and the bitter comment from Obama. He was called on it and when he tried to explain, the only response form people was "that's what he said". So in all fairness, "that's what she said".
