"Spread the wealth" is a big concern BUT how about his own VP nominee Biden's remark that Obama would be tested by the international countries after about 6 months if he's elected---that's spooky. He has no experience in security and homeland defense.

The McCain-Palin ticket doesn't know how to tell the truth. John McCain brought up Joe the Plumber and brought him into the debate. McCain kept making reference to this man, not Obama. So if these people should be mad at anyone it should be the Republican ticket. I am sorry that the plumbers, teachers, factory workers, policemen, etc. do not make $250,000 because thats whom will see in the increase in taxes. All these "mad" people aren't making close to that so what are they mad for???

How about a new nickname for Palin: Loser. The whole plumber gimmick is so tired, and it's pathetic that McCain/Palin base their campaign on it. Palin is no more than a joke, a punchline. Her only accomplishment since the GOP convention, besides giving the far right religious republican right something to get excited about, is to lift the ratings of Saturday Night Live. There is nothing – NOTHING – scarier than even the remote possibility of Palin in or near the White House. She is essentially Bush in a dress.

But to expect that you can say anything you want, at any time, and not face questions in return – to me that seems odd. Exactly, Obama wants to "spread the wealth" around; that means he wants individual who work hard and PAY taxes to pay MORE TAXES to give "tax credits" to those who don't pay taxes. 40% of people don't pay taxes already, so where did they get 95%?!?! How sad and desparate. Let's just go out and find as many regular "joes" as we can who support our view, ignore all those who don't, and let's parade them as proof to vote for us. Come on, when this country starts looking to people who have zero experience with governance for guidance, than we are in serious trouble. Luckily, it shouldn't work. Call me an "elitist" if you will, but I think the source of information is important and critical. If Joe and Tito are going to set policy, why not let actors build our buildings, or engineers make our movies, or construction workers teach our kids. Socrates had a great lesson about the nonsense of relying on non-experts who think they know everything about everything, when they know little beyond their profession.

That he has not paid his tax..hates social security tax..(wonder who takes care of his elderly relatives?? We have a progressive tax system. If Obama's plan is socialism then our tax system is socialism.

Whats wrong with taxing the wealthest and redistributing wealth. The wealthy pay much less in % term that the rest of us that make <250K.

The "Joe the Plumber's" of America don't make over $250,000 a year and won't see their taxes increase under Obama's plan. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be more and to have a plan to get there. (BTW - Joe the Plumber admitted on national television that he doesn't actually have a plan for purchasing the business he says he wants to have so IMHO he doesn't have a plan but a dream and dreams don't come true unless you have a plan and work it.) However I also expect people who make more money to pay more in taxes than those who make less.
