Obama shows off dance moves after Michelle talks 'smack'

Watch Obama on Ellen.

MIAMI, Florida (CNN) – Barack Obama lauded his wife Michelle at his evening event for being a better speaker than he is. Apparently she is also a better dancer.

The Democratic presidential nominee taped an appearance for the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" after his rally on a makeshift set behind the press filing tent. DeGeneres told Obama that when Michelle appeared on her show "she was talking some smack" about his dance "moves."

Standing in front of a few rows of supporters, Obama danced to James Brown's "Get Up Offa That Thing" much to the delight of the talk show host.

"Let me tell you that Michelle may be a better dancer. But I'm convinced I'm a better dancer than John McCain," Obama said.

Obama told DeGeneres that his daughters were opting for scary Halloween costumes this year. He said Sasha, the younger daughter, is planning to be a "corpse bride" and Malia will be an "evil fairy."

"I've got to admit they both look too cute. They're not scary enough for my taste," he said.

The segment will air on Wednesday.

Hahaaa. Mcain you can't move your arms above your head forget about dancing. Did you forget that looks matter when you are running for the White House? I have to admit that Cindy McCain is fine though as well as Michelle Obama.

I thought the Right was supposed to be religious and that giving to the poor was Christian. Apparently I was wrong - helping the poor is Socialism. Silly me.

I'm sure Obama dances better than McCain!

On a better note, as far as the campaigns go, he even flies better than McCain. McCain's campaign is like an early prop plane with a pilot under the influence. Obama, on the other hand, is the freakin' SR-71 Blackbird. Go, baby go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool Obama! But I heard he sings better, ala Marvin Gaye. I hope Ellen can make him to do that on her show.

When will McCain get it? We're tired of the bogus md-slinging. You'd think tanking in the polls would get his attention–but apparently not. He's almost as clueless as his running mate.

The scariest halloween costume is the Obama mask. I still am trying to figure out why so many people are sucked in by his lies and deceptions.

Seriously, go read something that is not on the Obama website or the dailykos, and you'll quickly figure out just how scary this guy is.

Almost the entire media is looking after Barack Obama, so why the hard questions? He is cruising through with no one looking at his record, mind set and history! The totally most un-vetted candidate in US history. Maybe these people know something and they convince all of us to go Obama! American love gambling, after all!?

Barack and Michelle Obama are just your average American family with one home and one car and two children. They could walk in a crowed and you would never know they are among us.

    I'm ready for November 4th.

Not only is Barack a very fine gentleman with great character, strength, and honor but also a great dancer...just not as good as Michelle.

However, I'd dance with him any day.

Anyways, I'm ready for the days of silliness and gotcha games to be over.

These poll results are completely understandable. I can imagine that it would be difficult to get excited about a candidate whose entire campaign strategy has basically been centered around lying about the other candidate's positions on issues and creating propaganda about trivial issues. The McCain campaign's message is essentially, "Don't vote for Obama because (insert lie or misleading information here) instead of "Vote for McCain because(insert another lie)" When the McCain campaign does speak about their own policies, which seldom occurs, they even misrepresent the effects that their plans will have if implemented. How can someone feel enthusiasm about a candidate that is running such a misleading, negative, fear and hate-mongering campaign???
