Obama shows off dance moves after Michelle talks 'smack'

CNN

Watch Obama on Ellen.

MIAMI, Florida (CNN) – Barack Obama lauded his wife Michelle at his evening event for being a better speaker than he is. Apparently she is also a better dancer.

The Democratic presidential nominee taped an appearance for the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" after his rally on a makeshift set behind the press filing tent. DeGeneres told Obama that when Michelle appeared on her show "she was talking some smack" about his dance "moves."

Standing in front of a few rows of supporters, Obama danced to James Brown's "Get Up Offa That Thing" much to the delight of the talk show host.

"Let me tell you that Michelle may be a better dancer. But I'm convinced I'm a better dancer than John McCain," Obama said.

Obama told DeGeneres that his daughters were opting for scary Halloween costumes this year. He said Sasha, the younger daughter, is planning to be a "corpse bride" and Malia will be an "evil fairy."

"I've got to admit they both look too cute. They're not scary enough for my taste," he said.

The segment will air on Wednesday.

Lately CNN seems to be giving Palin and McCain WAY WAY too much airtime about what they are saying in their speeches! They already get it 24/7 on FOX. You show Palin's ridiculous speech about women but you talk about Obama dancing on Ellen? Please. Why aren't you covering Biden's speech more. I am SICK of Palin, stop giving her so much airtime. If you think it helps your ratings, you are gone, I have stopped watching some of your shows.

See how Barak throws trash in John McCains face and laughs! How belittling the whole Barak campaign is against John McCain. It is sad and telling. Obama has been the smear leader even though he would like you to think otherwise. And John Kerry's remarks were lower than low.

AC 360 last night had a good spot – the RNC (taxpayer funded) spent $150,000 on clothes, accessories, makeup for the Palin family. Our kids are cold and hungry and get nothing.

I'm confused – is that socialism for a Governor's benefit. For the wealthy?

If Mccain and Palin have the experience then I don't understand why can't they run a honorable and decent campain and talk straight to us about the issues. The truth is with all their experience and years of service and they still cannot manage a presidential campain is very scarey, right Latina for John Mccain and your White house.

I guess Biden's comments about an international incident awaiting President Obama is not as important as whether Barack can dance. Barney Frank says our national economic mess is more psychological than fundamental, but rather than discuss this view with Obama, better to see if has rhythm. Excellent news coverage, CNN.

Seriously, what are the Repubs so afraid of? Are you all robots, who believe everything that you hear? Don't you have minds of your own? Wouldn't it great if the world started respecting us again? So, so very sad, that you are all so angry and hateful.
