I hear it all in TEXAS.......These people scare me with comments similar to extremist muslims. SERIUOSLY, I have always attended multiracial churches and this Us vs. Them view is alive in these churches as well. I continue to go because I like the preacher. As a black man I have grown a thick skin to these views. I take these issues on spiritually through Bible teachings. God is not your hammer, ignorance and fear are. I am not ignorant and far from afraid.

Geez, just what we need someone else who panders to that idiot James Dobson. As someone who grew up in the South as a person of faith, it is sad to me that anyone who has ever read the Bible AND understands it would think that Dobson represents the views of it or those of the people who actually believe it AND understand it. It was scary enough for me (as someone who is gay AND typically supports Republicans) to have McCain bow down to Dobson in the primaries, but I understood why he did it. Now this. While I support her right to have her beliefs, we have spent the last 8 years with someone who is under the delusion that God wanted him to win the Presidency and we see how well that worked out for the rest of us. Thanks, but no thanks...Count me out of four more years of pandering to a group of people that make up less than 20% of our population. Thankfully my vote in the other direction has been cast for nearly a week, which is the only thing I can do to impact this election..

Add I can tell you first hand that it was very hard on our entire family and it took a lot of love, affection and time to see this child grow up. Obamas DNC acceptance speech was EXACTLY 45 years to the day of MLKs I Have a Dream speech. That should have told you something right there. God is in it.
